From Within Secrets

*Roku's POV*

It was my first day of 11th grade, I couldn't wait to be around my friends again. I was 17 and my parents told me about the world of the vampires when I was 10. I didn't trust them at first but I made really good friends with some of them. My brother was iffy about it at first but went he realized that they were actually friends with me that he calm down. I did have my human friends too but we hid the fact that I had vampire friends from our parents. Even Kyraiei and Aiden had friends that were vamps too, though they used them to find things out about others or when the bad vamps came into town. In other words they were info vamps, ones hunters use to get what they wanted and had trackers on them to know where they were at all times. Yeah, my family did use vampire for that. You learn to live with them and as soon as you tell them they don't attack others, you don't have to kill them. There are bad ones out there though. Just they don't come to schools looking for people. I walked to my locker and was putting things away when Caiden came up to bug me. He was a half breed. He had the fangs of a vampire but he was more human then vamp. Though he was the best guy friend to have and my parents never seem to mind him even with the fangs.

"So did you hear there is new kids coming to the school? I don't know who they are yet, but I heard my mom talking to the office people about it." His mother was the human that worked at the school in the office all day. So he always found out everything. His dad was a vampire, though was killed when some bad ones came into town. Some vampires try to protect the town, it's the only town so far that allows humans, half breeds and vampires to live together, but end up dying when the wrong group comes.

"I'm sure you know that. Hey, here comes Wyatt." I smirked a bit when he blushed and hid behind me. See, Caiden was gay, and his crush, Wyatt, a vampire here and one of my other friends. Caiden could never tell Wyatt that he was crushing on him but I'm sure Wyatt knew. Vampires did have their tricks. Both single, and both not wanting to date girls . I seen him wink at Caiden and I just had him clinging to me tighter.

"Roku...tell him to go away!" I sighed, Caiden whine a bit too much for my liking at times but I love him as a brother anyways.

"Caiden, you really need to stop whining dude. I mean really, you're a half breed and you act like you're not!" I looked up to see Zeric and Letitia, they were two out of three hunters in my school that don't mind mixing it up and hanging with half breeds and vampires. They were a couple and two more of my friends.

"I'm not whining, why do you all think I'm whining!" Caiden could get a little over emotional at times. All the guys in our group thought it was fun to pick on him.

"Maybe because you are fun to mess with? I mean you get all upset over nothing but a few words." I backed away and stand next to Chloe and Cambria. These two were closer to me then the others. But then again I known them my whole life since school started. The others just slowly became friends and let Seth pick at Caiden a bit more. I knew Kaia would step in. Seth might have been a vampire, but Kaia was a half breed just as strong, and his girlfriend.

"Seth you better lay off of him. He's going to kick you ass again." Julia smirked, another hunter that didn't mind vamps or half breeds. Hell she went as far as hooking up with Lydia who was full vampire. Her parents tried to get her out of it but Julia flat out told them that she will make Lydia turn her and make them kill her if they did anything about it. Slowly they began to like Lydia and now they don't even mind her. Wish my parents were like that. They were okay for us being friends with half breeds but not vampires. Still hiding that one from them, only Aiden and Kyraiei knows about that.

"I think he needs his ass kicked again. Maybe he will learn." Kaia just yawned and lean against the wall waiting for it to come.

"Bet you all $10, that Caiden is going to knock him on his ass and keep him there until someone breaks them up." Lydia just giggled. Yes, Julia and Lydia were both girls.

"No! I bet $50 that Wyatt will step in this time!" Ella smirked and walked up to us with Alice. They were human like most of us in my group. "Really I want to see how this plays out. I say Caiden is going to drop Seth in no time, beat the shit out of him, then Wyatt and Zeric are going to have to pull them apart and Caiden is going to freeze up in Wyatt's arms." She just smirked.

"I give up on all of you." Caiden just sighs and walks away, but didn't get far when he bumped into someone. When he looked up, the guy was about 6'3 and Caiden back away slowly, the guy just looked at him like he was going to hit him. Though he didn't and looked at his group before all five of them were walking past us. I was looking at all of them but the one in the back. He looked at me before the one Caiden bumped into cleared his throat before getting him to follow. I was in shock by these guys, they all were in black leather, boots, bracelet, necklaces and belts. they had eyeliner on and long hair. One guy had a bandanna around his forehead, the other one next to him looked kind of girlish but a bandanna around his boot and wrist. They all had sleeve tattoos. Who the hell were these guys? "They are the new kids my mom talked about. They have to be the 5 new ones."

"They look like trouble. I don't think there is anything bad with them but they do look trouble." Letitia was just watching them. "They are heading right to the office past you brother and sister, Roku." I just sighed and hope my siblings were smart enough to keep their months shut. Something told me these five didn't play nice if pissed off.

"They will learn real fast if that is the case. They looked like they were going to take out Caiden. Something tells me they didn't like when he bumped into the tall guy." I just lean against the wall and watching the guy in the back. Something told me that I knew him but didn't know how to explain how I knew him.

"Shit, Aiden sees them. I can't wait to see if you brother gets his ass kicked or not." They were all making bets on my siblings vs the new group of vampires.

"They are all really good looking!" Chloe couldn't keep her eyes off the girlish one but I had to agree with her. They all got their own look going on and it made them really hot. And my parents would kill me if they heard me calling a vampire hot.

I just laughed and looked down to see the one guy looking at me when Aiden and Kyraiei stopped them. They always wanted to make sure they knew everything about new vampires. I don't know why but they always needed to know about every vampire in this school. But the one guy was just looking at me. He was skinnier then the others and like the 2nd or 3rd tallest in the group. They looked like rock stars, bandannas hanging from their back pockets or belts.
"I'm guessing you guys are the new ones that Caiden and everyone are talking about. Though, I don't think I ever seen you vamps around here before. So what brings you here?" Aiden was in the face of the one that Caiden bumped into and I seen the other four slightly on gaurd. They could tell right away that he was a hunter and that one wrong move either of them will be killed, mostly likely the vamp. It's why I don't have many vampire friends or half breeds, they are afraid of my overprotective brother.

"We just feel like pasting by, though we keep to ourselves, we been here for a while but our landlords told us if we wanted to keep our house, we had to come to school. I would watch who you get in the face of." He stand taller then my brother by 6 inches and he crossed his arm. "Who are you to tell me to explain myself? Just because you are from one of the oldest families of vampire hunters, don't mean shit to me and my friends because we stay to ourselves. So maybe you should keep to yourself too." With that he walked away but stopped and looked at the one who was looking over at us. The other three were looking at him too and the girlish one grabbed his shoulder and pulled him with them. Though it didn't go unnotice by my brother and he stopped the two that were going to catch up to the others.

"Don't you think of it vamp. There is rules you all are going to follow. One, you can't attack any humans. Two don't go around thinking you own this place, just because you keep to yourself don't mean shit. It gives me more of a reason to keep tabs on you all. And three, until I know things about you and your little group. Stay away from EVERYONE or I will have a problem with your group and you won't like where that problem will go. You know flat out that I'm not afraid to put vamps where they belong. So watch yourselves." It was a threat and the guy that was looking at me hissed and was ready to hit him.

"Do you really think I'll let you get away with that?" He seem to be anger fast and had his fist ready to hit my brother. Aiden was in shock. "I will put you in your pla-..." He was cut off quick but the leader of their group.

"Christian, enough!" He froze and the girlish one pulled him away and they disappear down the hall to the office. The one that had call his name seem to have a order in his voice. My brother heard it too.

"Who are you vamps?" My brother wasn't going to let it go and I seen the leader walk back over to my brother and get in his face.

"If you really need to fucking know. We are a band called Black Veil Brides. Look up the rest yourself. Now, fuck off and stay away from us, and threaten us again, any of us. I promise, you won't like us at all. We are going guys, I swear this was a horrible fucking idea." He walked off with the others following him.

"Dude! You did see the look in his eyes? He was about to put Aiden in his place." Caiden was in shock. No vampire dare to stand up to my siblings and two of them just did. I turned and walked off. Something was bugging me about them and I just didn't want to deal with my brother telling me 'you need to stay away from them'

Though my friends were all right behind me. The vampires that are lucky to be in my group of friends, they had to go through Aiden first and it wasn't nice. "I really don't want to think about it. They are messing with someone they shouldn't. You all know my brother is one of the best hunters around here and he will kill them all, right in front of everyone." They all nodded known what I mean.

"Black Veil Brides, I think I heard of that band before. The singer is only 25 and the oldest is 32. But because they were turn they look 17 but isn't. But they are even older then that. Andy, who is the one that got in Aiden's face is about 300. Though the others are about 200 or 100 and then you have the newest one their drummer that was like 50. They are really good looking to be as old as they are and they don't even age like most vampires, so someone is taking care of them." Cambria knew everything about bands.

"That's the one you told me about! Ashley, the girlish one the bass player! He's the oldest when it comes to real age. Then you have Jake and Jinxx the guitars and the one the almost hit Aiden is CC, their drummer." Chloe seem up to date with the band. "All of them are in their 30s, it's just Andy that is 25. Though no one knows their stories. They always seem so cold and keeps to themselves, other then fans and what they share online. To see them in a school makes me wonder if there is people taking care of them."

"They said that their landlords told them if they wanted to keep their house they had to come to school. So I'm thinking whoever is giving them a place to live is making it that they keep out of trouble when not on tour." I just kept watching and ended up in my first class. The only people that I had this class with was Cambria, Chlo, Alice and Ella. The only thing we didn't know that we had one of the new ones with us. It was Andy and he was sitting in the back, keeping to himself and away from others. Though I could feel like I was being watch. I looked over to see him looking at us before texting on his phone.

"I know you're new, but no phones during class." The treacher was standing over him and Andy just laughed.

"Let see, if I don't have my phone. I can't get a hold of my friends. I have one in my group that is new still and unless you don't want him going around killing people getting in his face because of a run in on our way to the office. Maybe you should let a creator control a person he saved from death, before others get killed and I have a mess on my hands." He smirked. He talked so calmly and never had fear to say anything to anyone. The treacher couldn't believe what he just said and walked away. She didn't bother him and everyone in the room was just quiet. None of us knew how to take on the new guys of this school. They weren't your normal vampires, that's for sure.

The rest of the day went by normal, though I could feel like I was being watched. Though I kept talking, hanging out with my friends and being watched was normal for me and my family. Good and bad vampires knew about my family. Who we were and our history, we were fear by a lot and there is still some that try to come and kill us. But my parents and siblings fought them off. These guys were new and I'm sure because of what Aiden did, they just wanted to make sure I wasn't like them. They would give up, and live normal. Though, what made them join school now if they were here forever?
