I'd Die For You

It's been a year since all of that shit happen. Though now I had my life together with the help of my friends and family and even new girlfriend. I was mad at Roku at first when she removed everyone from my list of friends and blocked them. I would try and get them back but she would delect them again and block them. Then I realize she was doing this to protect me. It worked really, I was allow to move on, get my car, a job, good grades in school and get my ass kick last. Everyone found out that I was in a coma, almost dying but that I was standing in school a week later. Everyone was so happy to find out who I really was and even our group was more like too. Andy and the others got the band up and running. Came up with the name Black Veil Brides. Sandra played with them through a lot of the gigs but I was planning to join them soon. I ended up selling my drum kit for a new one. It was bigger and better. We also had band working hard at my house with my room being sound proof and bigger then Andy's family room.

"Chris! You're going to be late for school and you still have to take Andy with you!" I heard my sister yell up to me. I told Roku I loved her before rushing out of my room, running down the stairs saying bye to both of them and jumping in my door. It was winter, cold as hell and snow almost to our knee. Andy was leaning against my car, annoyed and glaring at me.

"What fucking took you so long? It's fucking cold as hell out here." I click the lock and he got into the car and I got in the driver seat and pulled out of my driver. "You know we have a battle of the band coming up soon. Do you want to take it or should we let Sandra?" I was watching the road, thinking a bit.

"I want to take it, I mean if we are going to work on some new things today. I want to take it. I can help you finish that song. The one you been working on for Cambria." I smiled over at him before I started to drive again.

"That would be cool man, there is another one that I made for her too. It's done but I just don't know if I can sing it live just yet. I want to sing it at the school dance really." He smiles a bit and I just laughed.

"Then fucking tell them office people they got a fucking band. People need to hear us play, so we aren't the outcast anymore and we are going somewhere in life!" I smirked and pulled into the parking lot, parking next to the others that drive to school, like Cambria and the guys. We were close to the tree that we all hang out under before, after and at lunch. We walked over seeing everyone there waiting for us. James didn't bug us too much and this year we were all in the same classes. It was nice to have at lease five classed with friends, there were some that we had alone but that wasn't bad. We were still all close to each other. As I walked up to the group they were talking about new kids this year.

"Yeah I heard that it's a girl that just moved her not to long again. She came from Cali somewhere but nothing is really known about her." Cali, the state that I moved away from. But that I could care less about. If we wanted this band big, we would have to go back there. To LA.

I just sat down next to Roku and smile looking at the R&C that was in the heart now on the tree with the others. I then looked around to see everyone talking about the battle of the bands and Andy was talking about going to the office and playing at the school dance. We all wanted to make ourselves known now. And we needed to do that any way we could. It wasn't until the bell ring for us to go to the first class of the day. It was good that we all went to the same one and I sat end to Roku in the class, the others sat around me since we could pick our own seat. I heard that the new person would be in this class too but I didn't care, I had my friends and that's all I needed. Fuck the rest of this world, I had family and friends and a plan for my life to run after and catch. Soon the teacher came in and went to her desk before looking at a paper and up at us. "Before we get started, there is a new kid with us today that came from California. Would you like to tell us something about you miss Elizabeth?" The teachers smile but I ingored the new kid because Roku was next to me and I was listening to Andy and them talking about the different gigs they could do and the girls talking about fashion. It wasn't until the person talked that I froze and my blood ran cold. It couldn't be....

It was queit and I heard the person stand up and clear her throat. I was about to go talk to Roku before I heard her voice. "Yes, first off, you don't have to call me that, my name is Liz. I moved her from LA, Cali and I didn't want to go to london with my parents so had to moved her with my other family. I work full time, and I really love this place here. It's really nice." I could help but looked over at her. I hope it wasn't who I thought it was and when I looked over. I felt my blood run cold. It was her and it really didn't make me feel too good. She looked right at me and smirked. This wasn't a good yard, not at all.

"Chris, what's wrong?" I looked over to see Roku looking at me before noticing the others looked because Roku asking me that. "Chris?"

"Okay miss Liz, enjoy your time here. And it's nice to have you with us." The teacher smiled and greeted her.

"Oh, I will enjoy my time here. And thank you." I could hear the smirked in her voice and could feel her looking at me. I didn't want to give her that feeling that she won. So I act like I didn't know her or even care. I turn back to my friends and smiled at them.

"I'm fine, just thought I forgot my homework again." I smiles at thme and they all looked around from me. It was only Roku that knew something was bugging me. She just lean her head against my shoulder know that I would feel better but the thing was. I could feel the eyes on me. I could tell she was watching. She wanted to make me pay for what happen to my cousin and she wasn't about to let it go. See, I think she only dated me to get to him. When he kept turning him down and when he didn't come to school that day. She thought it was because his parents pulled him out and decided to date me to try and get to see him more. She just never knew he was really dead. Not until now....

"Chris, is that the girl that I think it is? The one that we been trying to block out of your life?" I just lean my head on her and nodded, she only whisper this in my ear, so I was the only one that heard it. I grabbed her hand and held it. "Don't worry, when we get to lunch, we can tell the others. For now we just need to keep away from her." She kissed my cheek before going to do class work. I did the same but I was still feeling her watching me.

As the bell ring, me and the others got up fast and walked out of the classroom. They were all following me because I was moving so fast to get to the next class. I didn't want to have to run into Liz or even talk to her. I finally got my life back, and I didn't want that to be taking away again.

"Chris, you need to slow down man, maybe we should skip the next few classes. I mean we been coming everyday and this would be the first time in three months that we all miss class. come on. We know something happen back there and we need to get away from classes for now. We will go back after lunch or go home." Ashley and I been really close friends now. We did a lot together mostly because our girls were cousins. Then Andy and I got along because of our girls too. I had a close relationship with all of them and I nodded in agreeing to getting away. They needed to know who she was so they would keep me away from her or the other way around.

We walked out to the tree and just sat down. The teachers didn't bug us too much because we flat out told them that if we get the band going, we will drop out anyways, so the been really easy on us known that it wouldn't be good if we dropped out but we needed if we got the band as kick as as we could.

"Okay start talking. What the hell is wrong with you? You were find before that class and now you are acting like something completely different." They were all looking at me and I just sat down and Roku was right there next to me and just lay her head on me.

"That's Liz, the one from LA that I had issues with, my ex...." I could feel all their eyes on me and I was feeling even smaller now. "I can't believe she is here, maybe blocking her was a bad idea but that means that Matt has to be here too. They were really close to Nick and if they are here. We have a issue with James again...." I just closed my eyes tightly and pulled my knees to my chest and I could feel Roku just hugging me.

"We aren't going to let anything happen. We have the whole school on our side and everyone knows who you are. It would be stupid to believe a girl that just moved her. As long as known knows you are her ex. Everything will be good." Andy was trying to help me feel better but I wasn't. I just wanted to go home.

"Chris, do you want to leave?" I looked over at Roku and I tried to think before just nodding and everyone got up with us. I just looked around and seen the whole group ready to follow me out.
"You guys don't have to leave because of me. I just thinking about going home for the rest of the day." I go to walk to the parking lot but was stopped.

"Always like you, always running around from things you didn't want to deal with. Don't you know Christian. It's time to grow up and jus face life for what happens." I froze at the sound of her voice and didn' know how to react. "Oh not talking now? You're still the same person that left Cali a year ago." I could hear that Roku was getting made but before she could jump in the others did.

"Maybe you need to let him go. As you can see, he don't need your ass anymore. So moving here trying to push him over the edge isn't going to work and we won't allow you to do that someone we care about. You need to know your place girl. This is a different town." Ashley was just standing in front of her when I looked up. She was just smirking.

"Oh I see, seems Matt and I get to have fun then. I heard about your group of friends. The outcast that didn't fit anywhere until they started a band and put the bullies in their place. That James isn't done with any of you yet. You think you have won, but you didn't. Not that Matt and I are here now to help them. I know everything on Chris. Matt grew up with him and been friends since they were little. I'm sure he remembers that." Liz was really annoying me and I couldn't take it anymore.

"Just shut the fuck up!" I turned and yelled at her. It only seem to make her smirk because she knew that that she got under my skin. "Just shut up, I'm tired of you already and I blocked you both for a reason. I'm better, I have great friends and a girl that is prefect in every way. You really need to get over yourself. Even if Nick was still alive. He woudn't have dated you because he thought you were just going to use him like you were doing to me. He hated you for that!" I just glared at her.

"How dare you bring Nick into this!" She walked toward me, I know she would have hit me if Roku didn't stand in front of me and punching her in the face so hard that she fell on the ground. we were all shock by how she did this. Roku never hit anyone but when Liz came at me, she hit her and good.

"Don't you ever think you can just come into this town controlling him! I will put you in your place and fast. Learn where you are because this isn't Cali anymore. I was the one that block you all and made it that he couldn't contact you or you do the same to him. Just fuck off and get away from us because I'm not afraid to die for this guy and I will fucking kick your ass!" She was really mad, I never seen her like this and the others didn't even bother to stop her.

"I'll make you pay for that. I mean it. Just you wait. All of you." Liz got up and walked away from us. I could tell she wasn't lying about that, she would get back at her. She would get back at all of us. I just sighed and looked to the ground.

"Chris?" I started walking back to my car and just getting it unlock before getting into it. I know that Roku and Andy would have jumped in with me. The others all took their own car and we went to my house. "Chris, talk to me. I'm sorry I didn't mean to hit her or threaten her." Roku seem upset but I wasn't mad at her just thinking of what Liz could do.

"It's okay, it's not you, it's her. The way she said that, she meant it. We need to watch our backs now. You just started a war with her and she is going to get Matt and James and all of them to help her. I know that chick by now." I just drove home known that my dad and sister would be out for a while. They didn't care when I came home anyways because they knew that I needed to get away to help me remain calm like I was. I got back to my house and walked up to my room, everyone was following me to my room and I just lay on my bed, allowing them all to do whatever the wanted. The guys went to play games or watch movies. The only one that stay with me was Roku, Cambria and Andy. I could feel Roku rubbing my back.

"We aren't going to let that happen. You know we will all stick together. You have a new family and friends. There is no way we will let them win. They will fail at whatever they do. Or try to do because you have us. Maybe you should get some sleep." She just cuddled up to me and wrapped her arms around me. I know she just wanted me to go asleep with her right now. We knew the others would be okay. "Please, just calm down and get some rest. Liz won't win, not with us here." She kissed my cheek and I couldn't help but smile right now. She was the best.
I did what she wanted, I know they would wait until I was asleep to make plans on what to do but they always told me later what they plan. It's just they wanted to keep me out of the drama of making the plans. They really were caring friends. I love everyone that was here. They are the best that I could ever ask for and I hope they could help with Liz and them. I just fear what the other side was planning.
