Soul Mates

Audition

"You be careful in the big city alright." My father tells me at the train station.
"Do you have everything?" My mother asks for the tenth time
"Yes mother I have everything, and I know to be careful dad." I assure them
"Its a long ride."
"Mom, its a little over two hours I will be fine, but I have to go or I'll miss the train. I love you both. I'll call you when I am almost home."
I rush to the train and toward my dreams... I hope.
----------------------------------------------------------------
I cross the state line and look at my wrist, still blue. Oh well, I have more important things to worry about than finding my soul mate. I get off the train and use my phone GPS to find Julliard. When I get there I can't help but admire its beauty, everything I want to accomplish is inside this school. I don't notice when my body begins moving so I bump into someone.
"shit!"
"Oh im so sorry." I say as I help up the girl who I just bumped into
"It's cool, big city, lots of people. I'm Jenny, you thinking of coming to Julliard next year too?"
"No, I mean yes, but I'm still a junior, but I have an audition today."
"That's amazing! Not many people get auditions that early, you must have real talent, what do you do?"
"Violin" I blush
"Cool, I'm a dancer."
"Nice, well it was great to meet you but I really should get going." I say not trying to be rude
"Oh no worries, go kill that audition and I'll see you in two years!" Jenny says giving me a high five and walking away.
-----------------------------------------------------
"Allison Wise!"
I take a deep breath as I walk onto the stage to perform my piece. I look at the three people who will decide if I get to live my dreams or crush them instantly. Stop thinking like that.
Shit play the piece they are waiting......

"Thank you. We will let you know" says one of the ladies
"Thank you."
-----------------------------------------------
I sit on the train hoping I get in because I have never played that well in my life.
