Soul Mates
The Night
It's the night. The night that everyone dreams of. I will be dancing with Andy all night long and then after I have a surprise. I look in the mirror at my baby blue dress. I always dreamed of going to my "senior" prom with my soul mate and to feel like Cinderella. That was the reason my dress was baby blue. I breath as I wait for Andy to get here. He has been staying with Jenny and her parents while he is visiting.
"Allison! Andy is here!" my mother shouts
I take a deep breath and grab my clutch and slip on my silver heels. I open my door and head towards the stairs, my mother has Andy facing away from me. My father is snapping away with his camera, and my sister runs up the stairs.
"I want to get the moment he sees you, hold on, you'll thank me later." she says, "Okay, go!"
Andy turns to see me and I blush when he eyes light up. Just as I'm about to run down the stairs to him Alyssa says, "WAIT! I have to get you descending the stairs!"
Once my sister is in position, I slowly descend the stairs, never taking my eyes off Andy. He looks really good in a tux, but this I knew already but dang! When I get to the bottom of the stairs I look up at him, and he looks down at me, and I feel like a real life princess. He slides my corsage on my wrist, and the flowers are beautiful, and white just like I asked. I pin his boutonniere and see that he wore the tie I got him. We take a few more photos before my sister hands me my phone and we head out.

When we get to Prom I immediately find our seats, knowing Andy doesn't do well with crowds.
"Allison!" my friend from orchestra shouts at me when I get to the table
I wave as Andy pulls my seat out for me, I sit down and smile at him as he takes his seat next to me.
"Awwwwe, why didn't you pull my seat out?" my AP chem partner asks her boyfriend
"We've been soulmates since elementary school, I stopped doing cute things freshman year."
"So. This is Andy." I hear from behind me
I turn and Shelby is standing behind me. We haven't officially made up since our fight, but when she asked the other girls if she could sit at our table, I didn't say no. She is with her friend from Bio lab since both their wrists are clear.
"Yup." is all I say before her and I think his name is Luke sit down.
"So Shelby did you pass your bio exam?"
As chatter begins around the table Andy pulls me close and I cuddle into his shoulder, wanting to enjoy every part of this night. <3
