Telling Everyone
"So how was Alyssa's concert?"
These are the first words out of Shelby's mouth when she walks into my room, not realizing I'm on the phone.
"Yes, I will, you better not forget either. Okay. Okay. You too. Bye."
"Who was that?"
"Andrew" I respond
"Who is Andrew?" she wonders
She looks at me but I don't say a word, I smile and looks down at my AP calculus book.
"Allison! Who is Andrew?"
"He's nobody..." I blush
"No! Is he? Allison did you? When? Where? How?"
"Oh and by the way the concert wasn't half bad." I say still not giving her what she wants
She narrows her eyes at me. I laugh.
"Andrew Dennis Biersack." is all I say
"What does he look like when did you meet him I want details I can't believe this is happening how did you react I...."
"Shelby! Breath!"
"Tell me everything!"
So I begin to tell my best friend how last night, possibly one of the best nights, went. I watch as her face changes from interested, to shocked, confused, and then tears. I then pull up the picture of us on my phone. Andy had insisted on taking at least one picture and exchanging numbers. Alyssa took the picture, I have a huge smile because Andy made me laugh before she hit the button.
My parents were happy I found my soul mate, that was until they found out the whole story. They are happy, but they worry it won't work out. I told them it isn't serious right now, I mean honestly we just met.
"You look happy" Shelby says
"Andy made me laugh" I explain
"No, Allison, that is not what I am talking about. Right here, in front of me, you look happier."
"Well yea, I went from blue, to purple, to pink, to red, in a day. It was so surreal."
"I bet."
-beep- -beep- -beep-
"Is that him blowing you up?"
"No, it's Jenny, she got accepted too!"
"Cool."
"You okay?"
"Yea"

I hang up the phone with Allison, smile on my face.
"You ready for sound check?" Ashley asks
"Yea."
Soundcheck goes well and when that is over I figure I should probably call my parents and tell them the good news.
"Hello? Andrew?"
"Hi mom"
"Oh sweetie it's good to hear from you, how are you?"
"I am amazing, is dad home?"
"Oh, well yes he is home, would you like to speak with him?"
"I want to speak to both of you."
I hear my mother yell for my father and I hear is voice as they share the one phone we have in our home, "Hello son, how is tour?"
"Tour is good, I um.... I..."
"What is is darling? What happened?"
"I met her. I met my soul mate."
"Sweet heart that is wonderful tell us all about her, what is her name? What does she look like?"
"Does she like Batman!?!?" my father shouts trying to be heard over my mother.
"Allison, and no dad."
I launch into telling my parents everything that happened on what was one of the best nights of my life.

I stare at the picture on my phone. I can't help it, I make it my screen saver. Andy wanted to post the picture right away, but I was hesitant. But now I want to post it to my social media page. I'll text him...
-Hey Andy, I change my mind. I want to post it, I want everyone to know.-

And with that I log onto the computer and transfer the picture so that I can make it my profile picture. I also post an update.
-Last night took a turn for the better. I went to a Black Veil Bride concert for my sister, but while there I ended up finding my soul mate. A guy who is just as driven as me when it comes to accomplishing a dream. He is a rock and roll star, and I am a Julliard bound student, and we were destined to be together! <3-
