Andy’s POV

It’s been a day since Ronnie left and Jenn is still not the same at all. The whole time she hasn’t left the bus, no matter what anyone does she just won’t leave it. We just finished our set and was on the way back to the bus, when I get an idea. We’re in town for two days which means we don’t have to leave at 10 tonight. So i’m going to take Jenn away from the tour scene for a while. There is an amusement park/fair thing going on in town, that might be fun. Yeah that’s a great idea!

I hastily went to rent a car for the day, quickly making my way back to the bus. Like the flash I ran onto the bus and went straight to Jenn’s bunk. I quickly grab a set of clothes for Jenn to put on. I tossed the clothes at Jenn “Hurry up and get ready. And no is not an option” I quickly left to go get changed myself. It didn’t take me long to change when I came out of the bathroom I went to go put my old clothes on my bunk. I slowly opened the door that led to the bunks and was stopped in my tracks. Jenn had her back to me, undressing herself. I swallowed the hard lump in my throat, and stood there in shock.

How could I be so thoughtless I totally took over the bathroom completely forgetting the fact that she needed to change as well. I was in the middle of scolding myself when out of nowhere Ashley’s face is right next to mine “What are we looking at...Ohh” I quickly jumped up, my heart racing. Hopping Jenn didn’t hear

“What the hell man. Don’t do that to me” I stepped in front of the door trying to make it so Ashley couldn’t see her again

“Dude, you were so peeping on her. Your such a peeper” God damn Ashley was being loud

“Shhh. I was not, I was going to put my clothes back in my bunk but she was in there getting dressed”

“So you just sat there and watched” Ashley raised his eyebrow at me.

“No I, I”

“Dude i’m only fucking with you. It’s only natural I mean who wouldn’t watch her get dressed if they had the chance” Ashley patted me on the shoulders. I’m so gonna kill him

“Dude. it wasn’t like that”

“Um what are you guys doing” I jumped when I heard Jenn behind me. I don’t think she heard us though

“Oh nothing. You ready?”

“Yeah, I guess. Where are we going?” Jenn asked both her and Ashley looked at me confused

“It’s a surprised” Ashley again raised an eyebrow at my words. I push Jenn towards the door wanting to hurry up and get to the fair. I looked at Ash before I got of the bus “Don’t even start’ I said then closed the door behind me. I rushed Jenn out to the car I had rented earlier, and I opened the door to the for Jenn, once she was settled in I quickly walked to the driver’s side. Trying to make it seem I wasn’t to overly excited. I can’t wait this is going to be so much fun. I started up the car and began driving.

So far the drive there had been spent in silence. I glance over at Jenn and she was staring at me “What, do I have something on my face?”

“No” She said but still kept staring

“Then what is it?”

“Why?”

“Why? What do you mean why?”

“Why take me somewhere, why go through the trouble to do something nice for me?” Why, because it hurts me to see you depressed, I miss your smile. I want to spend more time with you, I want to know more about you. I want you

“Why not” I smiled

“Okay..” She raised her eyebrow and gave me a small smile as if she didn’t trust me or something

“What am I not allowed to take you somewhere to have fun. You just seemed so down lately so I wanted to take you somewhere I knew you would have fun and well that’s why I brought you here” I parked the car right outside the gates to the fair. Jennifer looked out the window in awe. We were right under the ferris wheel. The lights were shining bright, the sun was just about to start setting. I smiled to myself giving me a imaginary pat on the back

“Wow” she said still staring up at the ferris wheel

“Have you ever been to one of these?”

“Nope, I never got a chance to. Growing up my family never got to do this kind of thing, and well I didn’t make it to high school. So I was never able to the cleshay date at the fair or some shit like that”

“Well the best part is that the fair is connected to the amusement park, so we get to do both. Do the fair games, and ride the roller coasters as well” I quickly hopped out of the car and ran to her door to open it before she could. But she still beat me to it. I crossed my arms and stuck out my bottom lip

“I wanted to do that for you”

“Really are you going to be that childish about it Andy” Childish, fuck yeah imma be childish. I nodded my head slightly. She laughed a sweet laugh then got back in the car, buckled herself back in and closed the door. I smiled hugely at this and gladly open the door, held out my hand and walked her to the front gate.

When we got to the front gate I instantly noticed that we both were getting just about everyone’s attention. I mostly noticed all the guys staring at Jenn. And let me tell you it felt so good to be able to wrap my arm around her waist and claim her as mine in front of every single one of them. We finally made it through the line and bought our tickets.

“So what do you wanna do first?” I asked as we passed through the group of people

“Let's go on a ride first” she said excitedly. I laughed a little and put my arm around her shoulder and leaned down a little bit

“Which one?” I held out my arm motioning to all the rides around us

“Hmmm, that one!” she pointed to the biggest one in the park. A huge smile found it’s way to my face when I saw how excited she was

“Alright then let’s go” I grabbed her hand and lead the way. But when we got to the line it was about a mile long.

“Awe, the line is so long” Jenn pouted “Let’s go do something else” She grabbed my hand and started to walk away. I quickly stopped her

“If you wanna ride this ride, then we are going to ride it. Here come on” I saw a hole in the fence a while back that looked like it lead somewhere by the front of the line.

“I don’t think we’re supposed to go that way” Jenn said

“It’ll be fine as long as no one see’s us so hurry up” I quickly went through the hole, Jenn right behind me. We walked for about a minute before seeing the front of the line

“Ahh there it is. Um but how do we get out of here without being noticed?” I said to myself

“Wait here” Jenn said before running back down the way we came. I waited for her to come back when all of a sudden I heard a scream and a big cloud of dirt? What the hell?

The next thing I knew Jenn was running back towards me, she grabbed my hand and ran out to the line. Confused I looked to Jenn and can see her wiping her hands off. Oh, now I get it. Man can she run. Anyways we made it through the line in no time and were able to get onto the roller coaster. By the time it was our turn to get on we were first in the line so we got the chance to sit where we wanted. I turned to ask Jenn where she wanted to sit but she was already buckled in the front row. I smile to myself as I made my way next to Jenn.

Half way through the roller coaster, once I got over the felling of my stomach being in my throat. I looked over to Jenn and saw a breathtaking sight, her hair was everywhere, her cheeks were blown up, she had a huge smile, and her eyes shown nothing but pure happiness.
