Andy set on top of the school watching Randy and his friends who were hanging out in the back parking lot. He wasn't going to make his move just yet. He wanted Randy to let down his guard first.

"I'm telling you guys, that Andy guy did something to Scott and Evan. They even stuck up for that Skylar whore." Randy said taking a swig from a beer.
"We all know something's up with him. We all saw what happened after you stabbed him" Michael Evans replied.
Randy nodded. "Exactly. That guy is a freak."
"You know, maybe we could get some answers from Skylar. You know, give her a little encouragement to come clean." Austin Meyers said.

That wasn't going to happen. They wouldn't get anywhere near his angel.

"Randy, why can't you just let this go?" Cayden Pierce chimed in.
"Whose side are you on, Cayden?" Randy asked turning to him.
"This is stupid, Randy. Haven't you noticed that everyone who has disappeared or been murdered are people who tried to do something to Skylar?" He replied shaking his head.

Andy raised an eyebrow. Well that was interesting. Maybe not all jocks were stupid.

"So, what's your point? We can take that Andy guy down if we work together." Austin said.
"Yea, he can't take all of us at once." Michael agreed.
Cayden shook his head. "You guys are idiots if you believe that. Maybe Andy was right. Maybe Scott and Evan were just tired of hanging out with you. I know I am." he said as he turned and walked away.

Hmmm, maybe now was the time to make a move.

Andy turned and jumped off the building, landing soundlessly on the ground below. He took off in the direction that Cayden had gone. It didn't take him long to pass Cayden. He stopped when Andy passed him and looked around. When he turned back Andy was standing in front of him.
"Holy shit!" He said jumping slightly.
"You seem jumpy, Cayden. Is your conscience bothering you?"
"Look, Andy, I don't want any trouble. I know I haven't exactly been the best person, especially to Skylar, but I'm done with that. I want nothing more to do with Randy and those two idiots back there." He said taking a step back.
"I know. I heard everything that was said back there." Andy said pulling out his cigarettes. "Come on, let's take a walk."

Cayden sighed, but fell into step beside him. They walked in silence for a moment.
"I'm about to pay for everything I've done to Skylar, aren't I?" Cayden said breaking the silence.
"What do you think?" Andy said raising an eyebrow.
"I think I'm screwed." Cayden said blowing out a breath.
"Then why aren't you running?" Andy asked with a chuckle.
"What would be the point? I doubt I would get far."

They entered the park to see Scott, Evan, and Erica waiting for them at one of the picnic tables. Andy walked over and set down next to Evan.
"Have a seat, Cayden. Let's talk." Scott said.
"Erica, I thought you were dead." Cayden said as he set down.
"Technically I am." She replied.

He looked confused for a moment, but didn't say anything. He looked at Andy.
"So what happens now?"
Andy sighed. "Cayden, I'm not a bad guy. I only want to protect Skylar and my son. You saw something you shouldn't have. Not to mention all the things you've done to Skylar over the years. Since you seem to have opened your eyes a little, I'm willing to give you the same choice I gave Evan and Scott."
"And that was...?"
"You can help me protect Skylar and Aiden or you can end up like Randy soon will if he doesn't start using his brain."
"I doubt Skylar will want me around." Cayden said with a sigh.
"I thought the same thing, Cayden." Erica said.
"We all did." Scott said.
"Skylar is a lot more forgiving than you think." Evan said.

Cayden looked lost in thought for a moment.
"I guess I'm about to find out what happened to you two. For what it's worth, I really am sorry." He said looking at Andy.
"I know. You would already be dead if I thought otherwise." he replied. "Come on, follow us." Andy said standing.

They all stood and followed Andy out of the park. They made their way to the house and walked through the front door. Skylar was sitting in the living room giving Aiden a bottle. She looked up and smiled as they came in.
"Hey, guys. Karen brought more blood over earlier if you're hungry." She said as Evan set down next to her.
"Can I feed him?" he asked looking down at Aiden.
"Sure." Skylar said handing him over

She stood up and watched them for a moment before walking over to Andy. She kissed him then turned to Cayden with a welcoming smile.
"Hi, Cayden. What brings you by?"
"He's going to be joining us, darling." Andy answered.
"I see." She said. "Go easy on him, Andy."
"Don't worry, angel. He's had an awakening. I won't be too hard on him." He replied kissing her temple.

She nodded. Andy turned to Cayden.
"Come on. Scott, you come with me." He said walking out of the room.

Both boys followed him. They entered one of the spare rooms.

"So, vampire or werewolf?" Scott asked as they closed the door.
"Which one's easier?" he asked.
"If you choose vampire, you'll have to drink Andy's blood. Then he'll kill you, but you won't stay dead. If you choose werewolf, I bite you and you pass out. When you wake up, you'll be like me and CC." Scott replied.
"Whose CC?"
"You'll find out soon enough." Andy said. "What's your choice?"
Cayden blew out a breath. "Werewolf."
Andy nodded. "I'll leave you to it then. Scott, you know what to do." he said walking to the door. "Try not to scream too much." he added as he left.
