Chapter 42: A Devil For Me
Skylar set stunned. She had no clue what was going on. Andy shook his head and his eyes went back to their normal blue as the horns shrank back into his forehead. He pulled his wings back in and stood up. Skylar followed suit.
"Andy, what's going on? Why do you have horns?" she asked looking up at him.
He sighed. "I'm changing, Skylar. I've known it for a while now. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. I was afraid if you knew, you would leave me." He said looking down at the ground.
"Changing? Into what?" She asked clearly confused.
"Into a demon. Well more like a half demon half vampire. Every time I take a life I become stronger."
This news was surprising. How could she not have noticed this? She wasn't sure how to react. She knew Andy would never hurt her. He would die before he did that. She looked up at him and studied him for a moment. He must have misinterpreted her silence.
"I understand if you don't want me around anymore. I'll just go and let you get on with your life." He said sadly as he turned away from her.
"No, Andy, don't go. I need you. The baby needs you. I don't care what you are. You're still my Andy and I love you. What would I do without you?"
He turned back to her. "You don't want me to go? But I know you're afraid, I can feel it."
"No, I don't want you to go. Of course I'm afraid, but not of you. I'm afraid for you. If anyone found out what you are, it would be worse than if you were just a vampire."
Andy stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Skylar. He placed a kiss on the top of her head. They stood like that for a moment before she pulled away from him.
"Come on, let's go home."
They made their way to the car and drove home in silence. When they got home, Skylar changed into her night gown and crawled under the covers. Andy came in a few moments later and crawled in beside her. She turned to face him.
"Andy, do you think the baby will be the same as you?" she asked moving closer to him.
"I don't know, angel. There is a possibility." he said as he placed a hand on her belly.
The moment his hand made contact with her stomach, the baby began to kick. It was the first time that had happened. A smile formed on her face as her heart began to flutter in excitement. She looked up at Andy to see him staring at her belly in fascination.
"I guess you know who your daddy is, don't you, little one?" he said talking to her belly.
At the sound of his voice the baby kicked again. It was the most amazing feeling. Her smile grew bigger as realization hit. There was a little life inside her. A life she and Andy had made together out of love and she couldn't wait to hold this baby in her arms for the first time.
Andy pulled her closer to him and kissed her. He wrapped his arms around her and together they drifted off to sleep, both dreaming of the future when they would be a loving family.

im not finished reading the story but so far i really like it, its very interesting and i think your a really good writer i just love it so much its so hard to explain
