My Perfect Weapon

Amber walked out of the locker room after cheerleading practice. Her friends had left already and were suppose to meet her later at the mall to go shopping. She wanted to buy a new outfit. She smiled remembering the look on that loser's face when she had dumped the red paint on her. That's what she gets for trying to look better than me she thought to herself.

Walking out of the gym and into the main hall she decided to stop by the bathroom to retouch her make up. After all she might run into some hotty at the mall. The school was quiet as she stepped into the girls room. Everyone had left for the day an hour ago. She was alone except for the teachers who stayed late to grade papers.

She dropped her backpack onto the floor and pulled out her makeup bag. She set it on the counter and began pulling out the items she needed after checking herself out in the mirror. She had bent down to get her hairbrush out when she heard a sound coming from one of the stalls behind her. A sort of shuffling noise like someone moving slightly in the stall.

"Hello?" She called out. No one answered. She shrugged it off. Then she heard it again. Frowning she began to make her way toward the stalls. Bending and searching for feet on the floor but finding none. She turned back to head back to the mirrors but stopped in her tracks when she saw a guy leaning against the sink beside her makeup bag. He wasn't looking at her but staring straight ahead. He had his arms crossed over his chest smoking a cigarette.

"You know this is the girls room?" She said frowning at him. She hadn't even heard him come in and that made her uneasy.

"So, you're Amber." He said in a deep voice as he turned to look at her for the first time. And man was he Hot. Her uneasiness went away as she looked him up and down. She started thinking maybe him being in here wasn't so bad. They could fool around a little. But then she realized he called her by her name. How did he know that?

"Who are you? How did you know my name? Do I know you?"

He flicked his cigarette into the sink and turned toward her before he answered. "No, you don't know me, but I know you Amber. I know you well. As far as who I am that's not important, maybe the better question would be What are you." He said as his eyes turned from ice blue to blood red.

Now she was scared. What the hell was happening. She tried to run, but with a movement so fast it wasn't humanly possible he grabbed her by her hair. He pulled her around to where she was facing the mirrors. His hand was wrapped in her hair. His other holding her in place by her shoulder.

As he forced her to look at her reflection in the mirror, he spoke words that made her blood run cold. "You think you are better than everyone. That noone could be as beautiful as you. Everyday you torment Skylar. You make her cry. You make her feel worthless. She is more beautiful than you will ever be."

The look in his blood red eyes was terrifying, but what he did next was worse. He smiled. It was a cold smile that made her heart beat in terror. Made even more horrorfying by two razor sharp fangs. He leaned down toward her and she thought he was going to bite her. But that's not what happened.

He leaned down to her ear. She could feel his hot breath against her skin as he uttered the last words she would ever hear. "Beauty is only skin deep, my dear."

With a speed and strength she wouldn't have thought possible, he smashed her face into the mirror. It shattered. Glass shards tore through the skin on her face. One shard embedding itself deep in her throat making her choke on her own blood. He pulled her back and let her drop to the floor gurgling and rattling. The last sight she saw before she left this world was him licking the blood off his fingers as he smiled coldly down at her.
