Skylar had finally went back to school. People were still bullying her. So far no one had attempted to beat her up, but she was worried. Some of the jocks looked like they might be planning something.She hadn't told anyone she was pregnant and she worried that if they beat her up they would hurt the baby. Not that it would make a difference if they knew. It would probably only make it worse.

She had just gotten to her first class and set down when the door opened and the teacher came in. The class stopped talking as soon as she walked in. "Class, we have a new student today. His name is Andy and I want you all to make him feel welcome."

With that Andy walked into the class. Skylar set stunned for a moment. What was he doing? "Andy, why don't you have a seat next to Skylar over there."

As he made his way to his seat Skylar could hear girls whispering and giggling. He took his seat and smiled at her. As the teacher began the lesson for the day, she turned to Andy.
"What are you doing here?" She whispered.
"Skylar, just because you don't say anything, doesn't mean I don't know how worried you are about someone doing something to you and hurting the baby. I'm not going to let that happen. If anyone tries anything, I'll be right there with you. No one is going to touch you."

As the school day went on it became abundantly clear that most of the girls of the school thought Andy was the hottest guy they'd ever seen. What they didn't seem to understand was why he was giving Skylar the time of day. He was in all her classes and set next to her in everyone. Between classes, as they walked down the hall, he would hold her hand. And his locker was right next to hers. The only time he wasn't with her was when she went to the bathroom, but he was waiting outside the door when she came out.

At lunch they were sitting together at Skylar's usual table, when a group of girls came up to the table. "Why is a hot guy like you talking to this loser? You could do so much better. Why don't you come by my place after school and I can make you forget all about her." The leader of the group said.
"First of all, Skylar is not a loser, she's beautiful. Second, I wouldn't touch you if you were the last girl on earth. I'm not interested in getting an STD."
"You really should be careful who you mess with. I can make your life difficult, if you don't watch it." she replied narrowing her eyes.
Andy laughed. "You can try, but you have no idea what you're getting yourself into. You'll find I'm not that easy to intimidate." He said smirking.
"We'll see. You'll change your mind. By the time I'm done, you'll be begging me for it." She said.

As she walked away, Skylar had a nasty feeling in the pit of her stomach. Andy squeezed her hand under the table. "Don't worry, my love. It will be alright, I promise." He said. He leaned over and kissed her passionately. When he pulled away, the feeling was gone. He was right. No one here knew what he was and if they were to try anything, they would be in for a surprise.

I know it's short, guys. Sorry about that. I've been really distracted. My grandma is in the hospital and isn't doing well. I'm so worried. I'll try to update again soon.
