My Perfect Weapon

Lacy sat watching Andy pace back and forth. He knew Skylar was in trouble. His first instinct had been to go rushing in and rescue her. She had been able to convince him that was a bad idea. There's no telling what they would have done if Andy went full on vampire on them.

"Andy, you need to calm down." She said to him.
"How am I suppose to calm down? This is all my fault. I should have been more careful." He said.

He came and flopped on the couch next to her and rubbed his hand through his hair. She could tell he was anxious. She couldn't blame him. She wasn't exactly calm either, but she knew Skylar needed them.

"We can't help Skylar, if we don't stay calm and think out a plan." Lacy said.
"You're right." he said, blowing out a breath.
"Do you know what they want with her?"
"They asked a lot of questions. I pretty sure they think she's got a split personality. They think she may have killed them but doesn't remember." He said as he began to fidget.
"Why would they think that?"
"They have the journal." He said looking at her.
"But Skylar lost that over a week ago." Lacy said frowning.
"She didn't lose it. I took it. I've been writing in it." He said looking away from her.
"What have you been writing about?" She asked. She was starting to worry more than she already was.
He looked back at her. "Nothing that will help Skylar."

This wasn't good. There was only one solution. Someone else would have to die while they were questioning Skylar. But it would have to look like the others or it would never work. That shouldn't be a problem since it was Andy who had done it in the first place and he was sitting right here.

"Andy, I have a plan." Lacy said as she took a deep breath.
"What?"
"You're not going to like it, but we don't have a choice." She replied as her heart began to pound.
