Worlds Collide

"Jordyn! open the door." Jinxx said banging on the door.
"Jordyn isn't home!" I yelled back
I heard footsteps walking away from my door, I sighed in relief and slumped down into my bed to continue writing songs.

It's 1am and I'm still writing and drawing, I didn't hear anything from the boys after Jinxx left, they obviously realised I wanted to be left alone. I hear a small knock at my door and a whisper "JJ its ash" thank god, someone I actually want to talk to. I opened the door revealing my disheveled form, all my makeup is either on a wipe in my bathroom or running down my face, I'm wearing old mismatched PJs, my hair is a mess and my eyes feel red raw from rubbing them. "Hi." I say in a whisper
"get changed we're going for a drive."
"What? Wh-"
"get changed, I'll meet you in the car." Ash said and talked away, I went into my closet and pulled out a casual outfit and took the rest of my makeup off.
I met Ashley in the car he was in the passenger seat waiting for me, I hopped into the drivers side and he dangled the keys in front of me. "Where are we going?" I asked him
"that's the question I should be asking you."
"What?"
"take me to your favourite place." he said
"ummm, okay."
it took me a while to think of a place so I just drove around for a bit enjoying the comfortable silence between ash and I, the only noise being the engine and the air-con.
I finally thought of a place and drove straight there. There is barely any traffic on the road at this time so we get there pretty quickly. It might seem weird but my favourite place is a car park. I park in the empty car park and wait for ash to say something.
"this is your favourite place?" Ash asked in disbelief. The lot is a small double story lot That has no roof so I can look at the stars.
"I like to look at the stars, come with me."
I hop out of the car with ash on my tail, I go to the far corner of the lot and sit on the railing "this, this is my favourite place."
"It's beautiful." When you get the right angle at the right height you can see all the city lights so clearly, all the cars and people still in their offices working late. The city is alive, even with the city lights you can see the stars so clear and bright. I love it.
"Wow." Ash said
"Yep."
"Also just so you know the guys loved your voice, were just shocked, sorry if we scared you."
"Oh, I guess I'm just a bit of a softie."
"you're so tough."
"No I'm not, ever since I moved in with jay I rely on him for everything as a result my anxiety has increased x100."
"Well you seem tough on the outside." Ash said
"how?" I ask confused, I thought everyone thinks that I'm a baby.
"I've never seen you cry." He said pushing a piece of hair behind my ear, heat rose into my cheeks and I looked down at my lap.
"you haven't known me that long."
"I've known you long enough." He said putting two fingers under my chin and pushing my head up so my eyes meet his. "God you're so beautiful." Ash says memorising the details of my face
"you're not too bad yourself." I said smiling
his face inches closer to mine, damn it not again. "We have to get home." I said quickly jumping of the railing and walking back to the car. I hopped in the passenger seat, I'm too tired to drive now. Damn it I should've kissed him, but I can't, because of my brother and the fans. I don't want to be known as that slut who dates Ashley. I don't want to be known at all.

Ash and I haven't said a word to each other the whole trip, I can't take it anymore.
"look, I'm sorry." I said turning to him. He doesn't say a word back to me so I turned to look out the window.
"I'm sorry." He said quietly "you're obviously not into me and I just pushed you too far and i just, I'm really sorry." He said with a sad look in his eyes.
"Who told you that I'm not into you?" I asked
"no one, I just guessed because you didn't kiss me."
"I kissed you the other day."
"yeah but that wasn't a real kiss that was me being drunk asking a pretty girl to kiss me for some dumb reason."
"I'm really starting to get sick of this 'you're so beautiful' thing, I- I."
"But you are beautiful." Ash said softly "damnit, I need to stop saying this shit to you."
"why!"
"Because you hate me."
"Ash I'm really into you, okay. I'm too scared. I'm scared of the fans, I'm scared of my brother!" I yelled frustratedly "I'm scared of myself." I said softly.
" You like me?" He asked puzzled
"what's not to like? You've been such a gentleman to me. You seem care about me, and not because you have to care but because you want to care."
"Jinxx cares about you, I'm not that special J trust me."
"Jinxx has to care about me, I'm his sister. You didn't have to care about me, you don't have to care about me."
"And you don't have to be scared of yourself."
"you don't know me."
"Do you wanna come back to my place?"
"Yes please."

Ash unlocks the door to his apartment and I stumble inside trying not to pass out from exhaustion. "I'll take the couch." Ash said putting my car keys on his kitchen bench
"no, no you can sleep on your bed."
"I don't want you to sleep on the couch."
"who said I was sleeping on the couch?"
"are you sure?"
"yeah, I've slept in the same bed with all my friends I mean surely it's not too different from that."
"okay then." Ash shrugged and walked behind me into his room, ash took off his pants and shirt leaving him in his boxers and he hopped into bed, I'm mean I've seen him shirtless before but hot damn. I pulled off my shoes and jeans pulling my sweater down in the process to cover the top of my thighs, lucky I wore a long sweater. I slipped into bed with my back facing ash's chest. I fell almost instantly into a dreamless sleep.
