The Darkness can take you away any time...

Andy?

I gasped before the dark took me in and everything felt weightless around me...

A couple hours later

I awoke to bright lights shining dow on me...Where am I..?
I looked around before coming into contact with a dark figure in the seat next to me. I'm in a bed? I looked down to see a hospital bracelet around my wrist and my clothes were replaced with a hospital gown.

The man was holding my hand but was looking down. I slowly pulled my hand away and he looked up...Andy?!

His eyes widened and I seen a tear fall.

"Erica!" I seen his lips move as he reached for my hand again. He looked to the door and screamed again before a nurse came in and smiled.
"Hello! Youre awake!" her lips said and I shook my head.
How do I teel someone I cant hear and speak?!
I tried signing to her but she nodded and left me with a confused Andy.
Another woman came in and she smied before signing to me "Hello." Finally...
"Hello I'm Daniela! Nice to meet you." she signed and I smiled.
"Meningitis correct?" she signed and I nodded. I looked to see Andy looking at me with sad eyes.

I brought my hand to his face and he snuggled against it as his hand came up to hold mine.
"Andy she has meningitis...She is deaf." she said to Andy but signed for me to see. Andy looked at the woman shocked but quicky looked back at me before pulling me in a hug.
Its been forever since I felt his nice lovely arms around. I began to sob in his arms and he cried on my shoulder. He let go and smiled at me.

He said something to the lady in which she signed to me.
"Its been forever he said." I nodded to him and he rubbed my hand.
"I'm sorry for leaving you he said." she signed once again.
I didn't do anything just looked at Andy.

Everything is coming back...clear as day...

"But Andy!"
"Erica I have to go! My flight leaves in 45 minutes! After everything that is happened I'm not backing down!"
"Andy...please...my dad is sick and what will I do without you!"
Andy scoffed as he walked out of the houe with his bags to the cab awaiting outside.
I feel to the floor and cried.

Everything came back to me.
We were best friends and he left me...Alone...
He didn't care so how could he care now!

"lease have him leave." I signed to the lady and she nodded before telling the nurse and Andy while tears slipped. Andy looked around as the nursetook I'm from his seat and left the room. Andy struggled but he was taken away from the room.

I cried as all the memories came back and I cried myself into a deep sleep soon after.

"Erica take care of your mother...for me please...I love yo..."
"No daddy! Please come back! No! NO!" And like that his machine stopped beeping and he feel into a sleep that he could never be awoken from...He was gone and I couldn't help...
The nurses rushed in as he was takne from my arms and my mother grabbed me as we cried...Daddy was gone...
"Erica!"

I awoke suddenly to the room dark and helpless..lifeless...
Oh I was in the hospital.
I sat up from the bed and got down before getting dressed into my own clothes that sat on the table. Once I was done I went to the door and opened it before stepping into the bare hallway. Just a couple of nurses passing and then there in the chair right outside th room sat Andy. I stopped in my tracks before I looked around for the frontand I made my way down the allway trying to get to the front. I felt a hand on my wrist and I wrapped myself around before being greeted with bright blue eyes. I yanked my wrist and looked at him. I shookmyhead as he began to tear up and I shook my head before getting to the front. I had help and checked myself out of the hospital before reaching the EXIT doors and leaving not reaizing the Andy that stood behind me.
