Angel from hell

"Andy, can I talk to you for a second?" I said giving the grocery bag to Athena and standing up and walking a few feet away from her. I watched Andy come over to me. I looked up at him and bit my lip in confusion.

"Andy, for some weird reason, my dad isn't beating up my mom. They're cuddling on the couch as we speak. Oh and there is actual food in the fridge." I looked down at the dead, sad grass.

"That's good right?" Andy asked

"I don't trust him!"

"Trevor, I know you need to talk but, I really have to go." I looked back up at him and frowned

"Why???" I whined. My voice going higher and annoying.

"I'm meeting the guys for lunch. I would ask you to join but-"

"It's fine!" I cut him off. " You're a fucking rockstar, what was I thinking, telling you my problems last night. Just go Andy."

"Trevor.."

"I'm in hell Andy! I need an angel to save me. And you're not him."

"Then I'll be your angel from hell."

I looked at him with a confused look in my eyes.
"Angel from hell?"

"I'm in hell too, Trevor. Well ... I used to be. I have to go. We'll talk later." And just like that he walked away. No hug goodbye or even a hand shake. It's like he couldn't wait to get away from me. I am only a teenager though, I probably mean nothing to him. I looked at Athena who was on her phone, like always, And sighed.

Sitting back lack on the old wooden bench, I wiped away an escaped tear. I was so overwhelmed. He's a 22 year old rockstar who has a band and a girlfriend, and he's supposedly my friend? The fuck? And now he just told me he's my angel from hell.

I rested my head on athena's shoulder. I closed my eyes and listened to the birds chirp and the leaves ruffle as the wind brushed through them.

I still didn't feel comfortable telling Athena about my actual life. I just wanted to continue her not knowing. I wish I never told Andy, I'm making his life even more complicated. I just wanted Andy to forget about me.
