Angel from hell

I continued to sit on the floor, my head in my hands. I was not okay. And for once and for fucking all! I'm helping this family. My dad is going to jail, and me and my mom need to move out of this hell-hole.

About 20 minutes later I heard the front doorbell ring. I knew my mom would get it for me. I knew it was Andy. And when I heard footsteps coming up the stairs, I panicked.

Expecting to see Andy on the other side of my bedroom door, I was surprised by my mom.

"Andy's here to see you." She rushed to say then closed my door. I sighed as I stood up. I went to the top of the staircase and yelled at Andy to come up here, then went back in my room. I kept my door open so Andy could see which he- I mean... Bedroom to go in. A few seconds later I saw him out of the corner of my eye, enter my room.

I laid there on my bed, my arms folded. He shut the door then sat on the edge of the bed. I sat up.

"What's wrong?" Andy asked.

"I want to help my mom. But she won't let me. And it's pissing me off. I want to get out of this hell-hole of a house."

"I know, Trevor. Again, I wish I could help but....-"

"Maybe you can." I interrupted.

"How?"

"I don't exactly know right now, but I'll be thinking about it. I hope you weren't busy when I told you to come over."

"No, I was just getting done at the studio. It's cool."

I looked down and fumbled my fingers. I usually do this when I'm either A: deep in thought. Or B: nervous.

"You told... You told Athena Andy. After I told you not to." I looked up at him with hurt in my eyes.

"Yes. I did. Because I care about you. And your fucking best friend needs to know. I'm sorry. I knew you would be upset, but I was willing to get yelled at then rather keep this a secret and you not get help." I gave Andy a tight hug. This was.... It never happened before. A couple seconds later, I pushed away, looking down. felling guilty.

"Sorry." I apologized.

"For what?" Andy laughed and smiled. I looked at him confused.

"For hugging you."

"Friends hug.. Right?"

"Yeah I guess.. Just never mind."

The night went on and we just stayed in my room and talked. I was a lot more open with him, and same for him. It was a fun night, but after he left, I was exhausted. It was time for me to sleep.
