The Dreamer


When he kissed me, my world turned to a blur. That kiss from Prophet gave me hope again. I really was getting out of here. I finally closed my eyes and leaned into the kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he lifted me off the ground by the back of my thighs and wrapped my legs around his waist. He slid his tongue across my bottom lip, begging for entrance. I let him and his tongue explored the inside of my mouth. He finally managed to pull away and rest his forehead on my own. My eyes remained closed as I regained my breath.

"We're mates, you know that Marina?" He whispered after a moment of silence between us.

"We are?" I opened my eyes to meet his georgous bright blue eyes.

"Yeah." She smiled.

"Thank you for saving me An- Prophet." I bit my lip.

He pulled my lip from my teeth and kissed my forehead. "You can call me Andy. I don't mind anymore. Actually, I like it only when you call me by my birth name." He let out a low chuckle.

"I gave it out to Supreme. He thinks the six of us are weak human beings like everyone else is, because we were born and not rose from ashes like him."

He shook his head. "Ridiculous. He does know that we have powers, right? Sometimes I think he forgets that. No normal human has powers."

There was a clatter from down the hall where we left Supreme. "Time to go. I'll carry you. "

"Are you sure you can carry me?"

"You're nearly as light as a fucking feather. I'll be fine."

He set me down and crouched down far enough for me to jump on his back. After I jumped on and he had a good grip on my thighs before sprinting down the hallway, towards the elevator. I buried my head in the ccrook of his neck as the elevator made its way dosn t the first floor.The doors opened and Andy sprinted down the haunt, finding his way towards the front of the large building. Supreme suddenly burst his way through the ceiling and right in fornt of us.

"I'm going to do this either the easy way, or the hard way." Supreme started. "Surrender and pass over your land. Or you loose your precious l Dreamer for good."

Andy dropped me there. "Not going to happen, Supreme."

"You really think that you can defeat me? You're just a pewny human!"

"I guess you forgot that the Wild Ones have powers." He drew his blade from his beltbeltloop.

They fought. Supreme must have thought he would have an advantage but Andy's too quick for him. Andy got Supreme a few times, cutting and stabbing him in a few places. When he saw Supreme was down, he grabbed my hand and we ran,
