Mystical Murder

We made our way to the car as fast ass possible. Kailee was practically ripping her cap and gown off her. We jumped into the car and she threw the cap and gown into the back seat. I pulled out of the parking lot and onto the freeway.

"Alright. I started. "We'll be on the road for maybe five hours. That's when we'll stop for that special dinner I told you about. We'll drive for a couple more hours before we rest for the night."

We spent the next four hours singing along to the songs playing on the radio. Jinxx pulled off the freeway as we were nearing I think it was Cincinnati. We soon pulled into a parking lot of a very fancy restaurant.

"Nice isn't it." He said.

"Fuck yeah." I replied.

i was utterly speechless. If it looked this nice on the outside, who knows what it looks like on the inside. We got out of the car and Jinxx took my hand. He lead me inside and up to the hostess.

"Hello. Do you have a reservation?" She asked.

"Yes. It should be under the name Jinxx." He replied.

She looked down at her book and nodded before marking sonething. "Party of two?" He nodded his head. "Right this way."

She lead us through the restaurant towards the back. We were seated at a small table against the window.

"Your server will be here in just a moment." She smiled before leaving.

We looked over the menus and talked a bit before a tall man in black jeans, a white polo, and black suspenders came up to us.

"My name is Eli and I will be your server for tonight." He said. "What can I get you two for a drink tonight?"

"Two waters, and your finest bottle of wine you have." Jinxx replied.

"Right away sir." Ge left to retrieve his drinks.

I looked down at my menu , trying to figure out what to get.

"You glad you're out of school?" Jinxx asked after we placed our orders.

"Yeah. That was the longest four years of my life. "

"I get it. College is hard as fuck."

Our meal was given to us and we dug right in. The first few minutes we remained silent, enjoying probably the greatest meal I've ever ate.

"I don't think I know when your birthday is." Jinxx piped up.

"Oh. It's June 26th." I answered. "When's yours?"

"January 7th."

We talked between bites. We ended up taking food off of each other's plates and drank nearly half the bottle of wine the waoter gave us. By far, this was one of the greatest nights I've ever had. No one has ever taken me out to a place this nice before. Our waiter came back and gave Jinxx the check.

"Wait. No desert?" I aksed him.

"Nope. I have another place in mind." He smiled before leading us outside.

We got in the car and pulled out of the parking lot. Five minites later, we were parked on the street next to an ice cream shope.

"You may have been a serial killer, but you're such a fucking child!" I said.

"You love me, don't you?" He gave me a querky smile.

"Yeah, I do."

We got out of the car and into the shope. We ordered our ice cream, and like always, we ate from eachohes cups. When we finished, we made our way back to the car.

"Thank you." I quietly said.

"For what?" He asked.

"For tonight. No one has ever done that for me. Not even my parents took me out for ice cream as a child."

"Well, you should deserve the best. I feel like I need to treat you properly. I wanted you as my own, not as my own personal slave because I didn't want my secret to get out. You deserve to be treated like a princess, and I want to be the guy that gives you that."
