Cursed by love

Matty put on my eyes scarf so that I couldn´t see. He led me somewhere. It was hard to don´t fall, but I trusted him.
“We are here!” He untied the scarf. I looked around and that what I saw was incredible. We were standing on the roof of the hotel. In the middle was carpet with two giant pillows and food and glasses. All around lighted neon lights. It was magical.
“So what do you say?” He looked on me quite nervous. I smiled. I was very surprised. Johnnie took my hand. I shyly looked down. I felt like that was my first date. We both walked towards that beautiful place. I sat on light violet pillow turning my body to him.
“It´s like cut off from the romantic film. It seems remarkable. I like it!” he just sat opposite me and smiled so sincerely.
“Aren´t you hungry?”
“Like a wolf!” We both laughed and got down to that delicious food. We were talking a little bit. I somehow liked him so badly. He was hilarious and careful and also romantic. I loved how he was talking to me.
“You know, it was a long time ago that I was on date… And honestly, this could win on my scale.” He laughed. His laughter was so soft and sweet.
“How is that possible?"
"That I´ve got a scale?" I asked eating berries.
"Maybe... I would say you get used similar things.”
“I was… I had a boyfriend like three years ago. We were dating for a year and a half. He was perfect. He also knew what to say and what to do to make me a better mood. We were happy together. But…”
“What´s happened?”
“We had a car crash. I was three years in a coma, and he is… He didn´t survive it.” This triggered a tide of salt tears. He came closer to me. I hugged him.
“I´m sorry… You won´t be sad forever. You again will genuinely smile and be happy. I promise.” His voice spoke to my ear. I looked into his eyes and nodded. Then I wiped last tears. “Are you okay?”
“Yes, but I think that isn´t the topic for our first date,” I smiled.
"We´re gonna go to another? I´m taking it as an invitation..." I laughed, and the liquid chocolate poured down my chin. Matt wiped it making me stare into his pair of blues. I´ve lost there... "Tell me something about you.” I woke up from trance caused his lovely gaze. I began: “Okay I´m 18, and I´m living with my best friend, Katie. I´m from Slovakia, but thanks to BVB I´m here. I wouldn´t survive without music Neither one day. I play guitar and piano, and I also sing…”
Matty stared at me again, but I didn´t care. “I must know about that more. Don´t tell me that Black Veil Brides bring to the States anyone who just meet...” And I told him my whole life story. Then he returned my favor and said me his. We were chatting almost two hours. Then Matty stood up and took out a guitar from the corner.
“Sing with me!” I giggled and I did. He chuckled. “You're good. Why aren´t you performing? Your best friend is Juliet and Andy, and you just hide. However, I kinda feel extraordinary because you´ve shown me your great secret.” I blushed. He gave me the feelings that I can´t explain. When we talk we´re opened to each other, but we also stay mysterious.
“You know, I haven´t sing public since the accident. I don´t know I´ll be able to return.”
“Just think about it.”

It was time to go home. Matty walked me to my hotel room. I unlocked the door and opened up them.
“I had a good time with you tonight,” I said looking straight to his blues.
“Me too…” His pink lips were coming closer to mine. I closed my eyes, but… I just couldn´t allow him to do that. After all, it was our first date. I don´t even know him. And through it all, I still love Andy.
“Matty, I´m sorry, but I can´t do that. Not now. Please, be patient.” I didn´t open them yet. I felt those soft lips I was avoiding on my cheek.
“Good night, Laurie!” I watched him walk away.
