Cursed by love

I couldn´t fall asleep because my mobile was still buzzing. All social Medias were writing about me. Katie was sending me terrible messages. And I had two missing calls from parents. It made me mad. I felt like a bird in a golden cage. Like bird what´s lost its freedom. I threw it against the wall. My display shattered. Then range filled up my mind and surrounding started to turn black.
“Andy?” I screamed before my body collapsing.

*Andy´ s POV*
I was talking with Alex when we heard a weird sound coming from upstairs. I walked out of the room and stood in the hall. “Andy?” I heard and then followed silence. I ran up so terrified of what happened there. I rushed straight to her room and found her lying next to the bed. I looked around and noticed fallen mobile with shattered screen. I picked up her head and check her pulse. It was alright. She was breathing.
“Hold on, baby. I promise you I´ll never leave you again.” I took her phone. It was still working. I turned it on and saw a message from Katie.
“After I take care of something!” She woke up. I laid her on the bed and covered with a warm white cover. “Wait for me.” I kissed her on the forehead and ran downstairs.
“Alex, please… Can you look after Laurie? She fainted again.”
“Sure! Where are you going?”
“Stop a thing that´s hurting her!”

*Alex´s POV*
I made a tee for Laurie and brought it to her upstairs. “Here you are.”
She took the cup from me and carefully drank. “So what´s happened?”
Laurie raised her head. “Nothing important. Only my life is turning around, and I can´t affect it!” She stopped drinking and held the cup in her hands. She was very pale, and her eyes were red. Perhaps she cried.
“I understand you,” I told. She smiled.
“You think that. I´ve lost everything. My best friend, boyfriend, home. My parents are living in another state and Juliet is in Japan right now. And I´m sick. Only what has left me is Andy. He´s keeping me alive…” I could see that right now. She was destroyed. Broken and lonely. But she was still above the thing. She was a strong young woman. I figured out why Andy completely fell for her.
“But you have something very powerful. Many people love you.”
“Yes, I love my parents, too. Though Katie after all. I have Andy, Juliet, Jake, you…” She smiled and drank again.
"Have you anytime thought about your relationship with Andy?"
"Um.... Not at all. All my memories are still missing. However, I figured out we´ve been close friends, very good friends."
"Haven´t you notice how he acts around you?" She clouded.
"He´s protective, that´s true, but what do you mean?"
I couldn´t keep that secret anymore… She must know it! “Andy is in love with you!” It surprised her. “What?” She shook her head.

*Andy´s POV*
I´ve arrived at Laurie´s apartment. I knocked on the door.
“I´m coming!” It sounded from inside. Katie opened it and gasped. “What are you doing here?” I walked in and shut the door. She was nervous. Katie sat in the armchair and crossed her legs. I sat opposite her. We were looking into each other´s eyes.
“Why did you cut off, Laurie?” I asked straight. I didn´t want to waste my time with her.
“Ask her!” She turned her head on another side.
“But It´ll be problem… Since she was released, I think she fell into the depression, and she faints all the time. Every small thing can make her upset.” My words attracted Katie´s attention. She turned back to me, and I could see the fear in her light blue eyes. She was worried. “Laurie feels abounded. She already lost too much. Don´t you think? She needs you. Do you wanna take another person she cares about from her?” She shook the head and turned to cry. “So, please tell me the reason.”
“Because of you!” She was sobbing loud, but after all, I could hear it. It put me down. She looked at me standing. She placed her hand on my face. “I´m madly in love with you!”
“What the hell?” I jumped up throwing her hands away.
“I´ve loved since I watched your video Knives and Pens. When I saw you in one bed with my best friend, I couldn´t handle it. I´m sorry, but Laurie is number one, she always gets what she wants and who wants. I´m the losing one!” She ran towards me.
“Look, just think about everything. Do the man who loves another girl worth to you more than the person who spent entire life helping you and being sister to you?” I left. Katie was crying. I was angry at everything. I just wanted to crush something. I couldn´t stand my feelings, and I kicked into my black Cadillac what makes me madder. Laurie… After that, I rushed home.
