Cursed by love

I ran without thinking, and when I came back to my apartment, I didn´t realize that I haven´t any place to stay. I packed my stuff and walked out the apartment. I dialed Andy´s number. He was my last chance.
“Hey, dude. What´s up?” Andy picked up.
“Hi! I´ve got a problem. Should I stay few days in your house?” I heard another voice on the phone. Both of them were talking about it…
“Sure. Come round to my place…”
I canceled the call and called the taxi.

Andy was waiting for me out of his house. He was smoking cigarettes like usually. Sometimes I ask myself how does he do it that he isn´t sick from it.
“Hey, dude! I´m glad to see you!” we hugged.
“Yeah, me too. Thank you so much.”
“You´re welcome!” We walked in the main door and kept walking to the living room. We sat down and were talking.
“So, what´s happened?” asked Andy handed me a glass of whiskey.
“I´ve quarreled with Katie, and I kinda ran away.”
“Oh… I´m sorry to hear about it.”
“Me too. She´s acting like crazy. We haven´t spoken a long time. Since she´s cut off Laurie, she´s different like something has missed. But I don´t understand why she´s done it. I don´t know Laurie very well, but she isn´t that type of girl what starts a fight.” Then I heard steps on the stairs and loudly girly moan mixing with a yawn.
“I don´t know that Juliet´s back. Won´t be she mad at you because of it?” Suddenly in the living room appeared Laurie dressed only in a big-sized t-shirt. She sat on the couch next to Andy.
“No, she´s still on tour.” He whispered. “Good morning! Have you slept well?”
Laurie nodded. “I´m rather gonna do some coffee!” I stood up and left them alone. I don´t understand the whole situation. Juliet´s on tour, Andy is alone, and somehow another girl lives here with him, and Katie doesn´t speak with her. Oh my God! Suddenly everything was getting a sense. Is Andy cheating on Juliet with Laurie? No… He wouldn´t do that. I know him couple years, and he isn´t that type of guy. I have to get explaining. And I think Laurie griefs for her dead boyfriend, Tommy. Rest in peace. I came back with two cups of coffee.
“Have you got any painkillers? I´ve got a headache and also my head is spinning around.” Andy went to the kitchen and brought that to Laurie.
“Thanks. Would you make mad if I drink from you?” She asked putting one into her mouth. “Of course not.”
“Okay, I rather go to bed. Have fun! And Alex, will you send my greetings to Katie, please? Tell her I´m sorry, and I´m not mad at her. ”She left the room. That´s it - her confession. However, I couldn´t believe that.
“So… how can you explain me this?” Andy smiled and started the talk.
“ It began about a month ago when they released her from the hospital. Everything was okay, but when we once just hung up something broke in her, and she´s changed to darker. And I felt responsible. But then we had much fun, and she´s forgotten everything. And…”
“Do you love her?” I asked him. Andy looked at me shyly.
“What?!” It made him upset and a little bit mad.
“Do you love her? Come on Andy. We´re friend since we were four. Spill it out!”
“Yes…” His look fell onto the floor.
“Oh, dude. What about Juliet?” I replaced myself on the couch.
“I also like her. We have broken up. She wants to discover my feelings and then make a decision.”
“That sucks, mate…”
“I know…”
