Cursed by love

Juliet and Andy came home last night. Juliet was very out from this, and she needed rest. I stayed. I slept on this fucking chair. I stood and went to find some nurse or anyone else. It didn´t matter.
“Excuse me, where is lying Thomas Wolf?” I asked the young nurse. She looked at her computer. It took about five minutes. I realized it is too much time, so I prepared myself for the worst, even I denied everything.
“Nowhere…” I looked at her. I was confused. “What? He had car crash last night. Please tell me!” I begged her. She took my hand. “I am sorry, but he must be dead!” I snatched my hand and ran away. I came back to my seat in the hall. Tommy, the nicest boy I´ve known for almost two years, Laurie´s first love, was gone.
“Good morning, Katie!” said Juliet. She was rested. It was evident.
“Yes, good morning! My best friend is in coma; her boyfriend is dead, and you just said good morning?! What the hell is wrong with you?” I yelled. I´ve never liked her. Now, Laurie wasn´t there, so I haven´t any reason to be nice to her. I´ve been angry and sad all morning, and I needed to get it out.
“Stop it! I know that you don´t like me, but how did you say, Laurie is in a coma, and I think she´s the most important right now, so please throw your outpouring of anger away for now and focus on her.“ I sat on other seat offended. They sat next to me. We waited for the doctor. Time passed slowly. We were terrified and angry.

“Relatives of Miss Straighton?“ All of us stood up. “You can visit her. But only individually for half hour one per day.“ The doctor left, and we started our discussion about who will be the first. Juliet told: „Katie will! You know her the longest. Like Laurie said me once, you are her sister from another mother.“ I didn´t understand why she says that and also why did Laurie tell her about these things. Didn´t Laurie notice how fake she is? I know it was only a trick.

I walked into the small room full of medicine equipment. It was the same color as rest of the hospital. It was depressing. And the worst thing that I saw was Laurie connected to them. A girl who smiled all the time even her life sucked. She did for me to pick up my mood. Suddenly one night this catching simper vanished.
“Hey! You left me there alone with your smart Juliet, huh! You are a little bitch, aren´t you? We don´t have much time. Unfortunately. Oh my, God, you don´t look like yourself. Where are you hiding this cute smile?” About ten minutes of my speech I gave it up. I just sat next to her and looked nowhere. I was thinking about what I will tell her if she wakes up. What can I tell her about Tommy? Poor, Laurie. The day she will wake up she will lose almost everything.
“Sorry miss but visiting hours ended. You can see her tomorrow or stay in the hall if you wanna be there.” The nurse came, and I left. I didn´t have to think much about it. I chose to stay till she's awake.

“Okay! I made a deal with the doctor. He will be informant us about her status every hour. But with visiting hours it can´t shake. Come on; we´re going home." Andy said putting his black leather jacket on.
"Katie, come. You´re exhausted. You need to sleep well."
"Since when you care about me? Huh?" Juliet was infuriating me all day. Only her presence and her assumed solicitude piss me off.
"I understand you´re all shook up, but please, don´t beat all on me, okay?" I was ready to scratch her perfect face. Andy stopped that and forced me to get in the car.
