Donnie was born 05/05/1994
Donnie was born in New York to his mother and father, Maria and Antonio Zazzi, who are of Italian descent. Donnie grew up happily and got along well with parents. He was a boisterous child and spent a lot of time with his mother. He liked watching her cook and helping her bake.

Donnie was also close to his father, but not in the same way Vinnie was. Donnie started to realise what his father did at a young age and was against it. He lived for the moments when his father was not the Don, and was instead, just his father. Donnie is kind and forgiving. He deeply resents his brother and dislikes how his brother acts as he feels it impacts on their mother.

Donnie has always harboured feelings for Annaliese, but doesn't act on them as she is ten years older than he is and he doesn't feel he's good enough for her. He views Andy and Co with skepticism and is downright afraid of the assassins, but tries not to show it.

Vinnie was born 13/07/1991
Vinnie is the older of the two Zazzi brothers. He is far more like their father and has been learning from the Don ever since he was ten. Although, their father tried to sheild him, Vinnie was spoilt and used to getting his own way. He observed his father and watched how he did business. He was left devastated when their father died.

Shortly after the Don's death, Vinnie took up the helm and continued the drug smuggling business as well as forming alliances with his father's old friends. However, Vinnie struggles with people and doesn't understand things on a human level, which leads him to treat people like objects.

He longs for a marriage like the one his parents had. His mother and father shared arranged nupitals and Vinnie knows he struggles with women. This is partially the reason why he wants Kacee as he believes that her family has money as does his own and this will merge them.

Vinnie's theme song is Head Like a Hole by Nine Inch Nails.
