I sighed, and walked out into the dark night, guns and weapons on my belt. It had been a week since I had seen Rosie, and it was slowly killing me. I loved her so much, so I knew that it would be safer for her If I wasn't there, and it was plain that her brother and friends didn't want me there. I thought of her most nights when I was out on the hunt, and even dared look for her every time I shot at one, but Inever saw her. I sighed, and followed the sounds of shouts for Ashley and CC from a nearby Alley. I ran and saw Darren standing there, with Jinxx pressed against a wall. "OI! let him go!" I yelled, point a gun at him. "Oh look who it is, Rosie's little boyfriend, well used to be. she's missed you ya know."
"And I've missed her, but that's not important. I wanted you." He said, dropping Jinxx and walking to me. "I have your little princess."
"What do you mean?" I snapped, looking into his glowing eyes. "I have her, locked up In a cage."
"What?!"
"Yep?" He said, and I pushed his against the wall by his throat. He grabbed my arm, and flew into the sky, flying me to a old abandoned house that seemed about to collapse. He dropped me into it, and I hit my head off the floor, knocking me out cold.

I woke up, and looked up at the bars restricting my space. I sat up, realising I was in a cage, and looked around the room. I was in a dark room, which looked like a bedroom which looked like it had not been used for years. I went to grab something off my belt, and looked down, realising he had taken it. I sighed, and hit the bars. I was trapped, and without my belt, Rosie, or anyone else here, I was stuck. I heard a whimper beside me, and I looked at the cage next to me. I crawled over to the end of my cage, and poked at the cloth cover the other cage. "Hello? Anyone there?" I asked, and the whimpering stopped, and the cloth moved slightly. "Who's there?" A voice said, and my eyes widened as I realised who it was. "Rosie?"
"Andy?" She said, and I reached through the thin space between the bars, pulling at the cloth covering the other cage. It fell off, and I saw Rosie, chained to the other side of the cage, tears pouring down her face. "Oh my god Rosie." I said, trying to reach her, but it was no use. "Andy." she said, breaking down into more tears.

"No sweetie, don't cry, please don't cry darling it's going to be okay. I'm here now. Everything will be fine." I said, wishing I could reach her. I hated seeing her like this, crying her eyes out and my not being able to hug her and calm her down. She sighed, and looked at me. "How did you get here?"
"Darren took me here. where exactly are we?"
"I don't know, he took my when I was asleep." She said, sniffling. "Well were getting out of here, and were going to be fine, promise." I said, and she nodded, giving me a weak smile. "I hope so." she said, and we both whipped our heads around when we heard footsteps.

The door at the far end of the room opened, and Darren was there grinning. "Looks like you've found your sweetheart." He said, sitting on a chair close to us, and giving us a sick smile. "So then hunter, why don't you get you and Rosie out, oh wait. I have this." He said, dangling my belt from his fingers. "I swear when I get out of here I'll fucking kill you!" I said through gritted teeth. "Yeah well your not getting out." he said, and I tightened my grip on the bars, making my knuckles white. "Well then I'll leave you two love birds to it." He taunted, and I sighed as he shut the door. I punched the bars, making the whole thing shake. I kept punching it, and I heard Rosie sigh. "Andy! Stop it!" She yelled, and I stopped looking at her. "That is not going to help anything or anyone so just fucking stop it." She said, and I sighed. "I want to get us out of here, to get you out of here."
"Sweetie if anyone's in more danger being here it's you." She said, and I stared at her, and she sighed.

"Listen to me. Vampires cannot kill others vampires it's impossible. We can injure each other but not kill. If anything you'll be the only one he kills." She said, and I nodded. "I'll take the chance." I said, and I smiled at her weakly. She sighed, and looked at me sorrowfully. "I'm sorry Andy. I'm so sorry." She said, and I looked at her confused. "What for sweetie?"
"It's all my fault. If I hadn't gone to the concert, if I hadn't jumped you, none of this would of happened, none of it. You'd be safe and living a normal life." She said, and I sighed, reaching through the bars, and just about reaching her leg with the ends of my fingertips. "None of this is your fault. It's no ones fault, it's just fate, destiny."
"There's no such thing."
"Isnt there? Then how do you explain all this? Our love, how we met? That's not done by coincidence." I said, and she giggled slightly as I ran my fingertips over her leg slightly. "I suppose your right. But if were going to get out of here, we're going to need to fight." She said, and I nodded, as the door opened, and the light streamed in, showing a tall shadow in the doorway.
