Shhh... He's my best friend

I saw the hurt in her eyes when I said I was going to go to LA to pursue the deal. I said we could try long distance. But she said we're better off as friends. I wrote a song about her that night, called 'The Morticians Daughter'. We skyped every night, but I knew she wasn't telling me something. Then, one day,she stopped taking to me entirely. I was heartbroken. The one thing in my life I had loved and it had gone ever so tantalisingly out of my grasp. So, I started to cut. I hated myself. I'd lost Mirror over my own selfishness. I was a terrible human being. I deserved to die.

Notes

I know it's short but it will be the last chapter in this book! We have finally got on to the sequel! I have a lot planned for this one, so expect longer chapters and lots of twists and turns.
