Novocaine Hearts

Jake's POV

As we finished our set I ran off stage to see that Lexa was being cornered by her band mates. They didn't look to impressed.
"Hey Lex, what's going on?" I questioned as I approached.
"Look, we made a deal with her that she has to come back with us after the show, we're here to make sure she's okay" Nate said to me.
"Come back with you?" I said confused.
"Jake, don't try and fight it. They're just trying to keep me safe" Lexa surrendered.
"It's been fine every other night, why is this starting now?" My voice coming out frustrated.
"It's for your own good" Lexa sighed.
"Lexa understands that she is not a stable person and that she needs these boundaries" Nate explained.
"Not a stable person? Lex come on. You know this is bullshit. You're fine. Their putting this is your head."
"It's not a debate Jake" Lexa said, completely defeated.
"What if I come back with you? Am I allowed to come to your bus?" I asked, eyeing her band members.
"Yeah, can he?" Lexa asked with puppy dog eyes.
"Fine, but in the bus only" Nate caved.
Lexa had a smile plastered to her face, like it was the best news she ever heard.
I thought it was strange.
"I'm gonna go shower and stuff then I'll come to your bus" I said awkwardly, then walked off from them.
I went over to Juliet hoping she would know something.
"Hey, what's with Lexa's band? Why are they being weird?"
"Oh, I don't really know. She just said it was for her own good, or something like that" Juliet shrugged.
"Nate just said she was an unstable person. What does that mean?"
"Jake, how am I meant to know? Just ask her! We all have a past, obviously hers haunts her."
"Okay, whatever. I'm gonna go shower so I can at least spend some of the night with her."

Lexa's POV

I waited patiently for Jake to arrive at our bus.
I could see Saxon and Parker giving Nate the stare down. I knew this was going to bring tension, but they have to deal with me dating.
"Can you guys get over yourselves and just trust me?" I said breaking the silence.
"But that's just it. We can't trust you" Saxon said.
"3 years guys. You know what I've been through!"
"For the most part of 3 years. You've relapsed. It can happen again" Saxon continued.
"Than lock me at the back of the bus if it comes to it. I don't wanna screw this up! Please give me a chance!" I pleaded.
"Let's just see how you go over the next few weeks. I'm keeping an eye on you" Nate said pointing his fingers at me. "And you two, off her back. Let me handle it! I don't want to say it again."
Both Saxon and Parker looked away and went off to do their own thing.
I went to the back of the bus where I had my own space. I claimed it as being the only girl on the bus.
I popped a DVD into the small T.V. and wrapped myself in a blanket as I waited for Jake.
I was almost asleep when I heard a little knock on the bi-fold door.
"Hmm? Come in" I said quietly.
Jake's head popped in a moment after.
"Hey" he smiled.
"Hey, come sit" I said opening the blanket up.
"What are you watching?"
"Orange is the new Black. Have you seen it?" I said excitedly.
"No, but I think Ashley said he had been watching it. It's meant to be good."
"It's addictive! One of the best shows I've seen in a while. I'm still on the first season."
"Hey" Jake whispered.
I turned my head and his lips were an inch away from mine. I smiled and felt myself blush.
Jake pressed his forehead to mine and let his eyes droop shut. His lips parted slightly and slowly pressed them to mine. His kisses were sweet at first, then they got more passionate. His hands found their way to my waist, going under my t-shirt.
The feeling of his hands on my skin was electrifying. I missed the feeling of being wanted. My hands traveled from his neck down to the hem of his t-shirt. As I pulled it off, I could feel his hard abs graze against the back of my fingers.
God, I hadn't been with anyone for a while and this was making me super horny.
I managed to get his t-shirt all the way off and I couldn't help, but just look at him.
It was like his stomach was chiseled out of stone. His chest was broad and built. The way the curves of his muscles made his tattoo pop.
I bit my lip to try and resist the urge, but I was failing.
I went back to kissing him, almost aggressively. I started at his lips and slowly moved down his neck and along his collarbones. He was just so hot.
I felt Jake's hand grab my face and bring it back to his mouth, his tongue battling with mine to win dominance.
His rough with my body, struggled to pull on top over my head. I saw him look at my B cup boobs, which made me self conscious.
"I know, my boobs are small" I whispered trying to hide them.
"No, they're perfect."
I couldn't hide but smile.
My bras always had extra padding or some shit, but it was like he saw me, for me.
He started to kiss down my neck, sucking along my collarbone.
I was thoroughly enjoying the intimacy when there was a knock on the door to pull me out of them moment.
"Lex, we have to start moving. Jake you better go back to your bus" Saxon said through the door.
"No, no, no, I don't want you to leave" I whined.
"Lexa, they obviously don't want me on your bus. I should go."
"No! We just about to have some fun!"
"So I wasn't taking it too fast?" He asked, putting his top back on.
"Not at all! Maybe not fast enough" I winked.
"Lexa, I have feelings for you... This isn't just about fucking" he said, a little offended.
"Jake, I have feelings for you too. A lot of this is just new to me. I thought you wanted to have sex. We still can."
"I don't think tonight's the night. I better go" he said leaning over to kiss me and left my room.
I sighed as I put my t-shirt back on and lit a cigarette.
