Lexa's POV

"Did you catch any of that?" I scoffed to Parker who sat on the couch, intently playing Halo.
"No, what happened?" He spoke absentmindedly.
"He said he wants me back!" I said, standing in front of the screen.
Parker tried to poke his head around me, but couldn't. "Oh man, I was about to beat my kills!"
"Parker, this is serious! What if he tries something on me!" I shrieked.
Parker tossed the Xbox controller on the couch and sighed. "Well we could just tell people, I mean, we've been together over a year. I'm sure it wouldn't be a big surprise to the fans."
"Jake thought I changed for you. I can't now tell him that we're dating, he'll think I lied!" I explained.
"But you didn't change for me" Parker's face turning serious.
"I told him that! But he is convinced I changed for you or for someone... Like I could never make that choice for myself" I sighed.
"But you did. I admire that so much! You have been through so much and for you to overcome an addiction you've had since you were a teenager is pretty amazing."
"I know... he doesn't believe me... now he wants me back."

Jake's POV

"What the fuck we're you thinking?!" Andy and Ashley said in unison when I told what I did.
"Yeah... but hear me out... she still has feelings for me" I explained.
"No she doesn't. Jake she's making it pretty damn clear that she doesn't love you" Ashley warned.
"Why do you even want her back? You dumped her for cheating on you. That's like a red flag for someone you don't go back to. Haven't you learnt lesson?" Andy elaborated.
I chuckled. "Really? Didn't you both cheat on Riley, yet she's still married to you" pointing at Ashley, "and she continued to date you when you cheated the first time" I said gesturing to Andy. "She gave both of you a second chance. I'm trying to do that with Lexa."
"Lexa doesn't want a second chance. She's moved on" Ashley clarified.
"No. She told me that she wanted to make this right. She wanted us to be together again!"
"Well this is fucking useless. Jake, I have nothing more to say to you" Andy sighed, giving Jake a pat on the shoulder and heading towards the bunks.
"She wants me back, I know it" I said, desperately trying to convince Ashley.
"Are you trying to convince me, or yourself?" Ashley said smugly, before also leaving for bed.

The following day I stood in the catering line with Jinxx, our stomachs growling for a decent meal.
I looked across the space to see if I could spot anyone I knew. That was when my eye caught that bright purple hair.
"Hey, I'm gonna sit with Lexa. Need to talk to her" I nudged Jinxx.
"No. Andy told me what happened last night. You need to stay away from her. You reek of desperation! If you want any chance of getting her back, you need to let her come to you. I think you're losing your touch" he commented.
"You think I'm being desperate?"
"Yes. Aren't you dating that model, Inna though?" Jinxx said, giving me a look of judgement.
"Well, yeah, but that's not a big deal..." I shrugged off.
"If you have any respect for her, you'll break up with her" Jinxx said, grabbing a paper plate for each of us.
"Hmm..."
"But, have you given Inna a chance? Or was she just to pass the time?" Jinxx criticized.
"Inna is great. There is something there, but I don't know" I stressed. "Lexa... it was instant. I just knew."
"Lexa is not available" someone muttered behind us. Myself and Jinxx turned and saw a furious looking Parker.
"Parker?" I said, confused.
"Look, I didn't mean to overhear this little conversation, but it has got to stop! Lexa is with me!" He said bluntly.
"W-what do y-you mean, with you? Like, together" I stammered.
"Like we're a couple. So it would great if you could back off. You're stressing Lexa out and it's not good for her" he said, trying to keep a calm tone.
"That fucking whore lied to me" I muttered under my breath.
"Excuse me, what did you fucking call her?!" Parker spat.
"A lying whore! She said she didn't change for anyone, but that's a big fat lie!" I shouted in his face.
Our argument had gained some onlookers. Everything went silent.
"LEXA ISN'T LIAR!" Parker screeched, leaning into me, trying to make himself taller. "She's not a whore either! How can you say those things, when you 'supposedly' love her?!" He questioned.
By this time Lexa was standing behind Parker, giving me a look of torment and shaking her head.
I didn't know what to say. I was mad and confused. Why am I saying these things?
"Parker, stop. It's okay. Jake showed his true colours today. What he really thinks of me. I think it's sad that you think I did this for someone else. I mean, look at you. You lost a whole bunch of weight and gained muscle. Who'd you do that for?" She said sarcastically.
"Okay, I get it; I'm a hypocrite!" I snapped.
"Come on Lex. I've lost my appetite" Parker said, taking Lexa's hand and leaving the catering tent.
"Congratulations. You've truly lost her" Jinxx muttered.
