I attempted to talk to Ashley while Lexa was with Riley.
"Ash, hey, you okay?"

Lexa shrugged. "She's feeling the pressure. She thinks she's out of her depths. Ashley..." She said slowly, turning her attention to him.
His eyes narrowed.
"Look, she's... "

"Lex, you have to get on with it!" Ashley encouraged.

Ashley groaned. "I knew it! I knew she didn't want me to plan it. She cringed at the word."
"Well I think she has good reason to Ash" I commented.
"I'm over it though. I think she should be too. It only makes it worse. I wanted her to come. I thought maybe she'd forget just for the weekend and maybe have some fun."
"Maybe tell her that you want her to come. Maybe if you asked" Lexa added.
Ashley just shrugged. "I'll talk to her later."

Lexa's POV

3:51 am myself and Jake stumbled into our hotel room.
As soon as the door shut, Jake pushed me up against it, kissing me hard.

"What would make you think I'd go?! You're the one who said I'd never have to go back there!" Riley said through her teeth, trying to remain quiet.
"Because I want you to move on! It's your hometown... It can't be all bad" Ashley said with a calmness.
"But all I remember is the bad. I have no good memory from that town. Just... You'll have more fun without me" Riley said quietly.

Me and Jake looked at each other. I was so lost.
"Did their conversation make sense to you?" I asked.
"Hmm, more or less. They're really good at resolving issues. Like magic.

From the corner of our eyes, everyone watched Ashley and Riley say goodbye. They kissed and Riley headed off in the opposite direction to her gate.
"I don't get them..." I said to Jake.
"No one does."
