Hiding Behind The Light

Jinxx was pressed against the wall looking tiny beneath Ashley. Ash was kissing him and had Jinxx’s legs wrapped around his waist. Jinxx pulled away from the kiss and looks at the ground as ash set him down.
“Ash you’re gonna get sick” his voice was a croak and sounded awful. Ashley just laughed and turned towards the door, “oh hey Jake. Need something??” Jake couldn’t move his heart was in ten thousand pieces and felt like they had been scattered across space.
Jake just choked out a no and grabbed his clothes and left. Ash shrugs and kisses Jinxx’s head again, “I don’t care if I get sick I have you.”
Jinxx smiles and blushes. “Guys you’re on in thirty hurry it up!!” Jon yells through the door and walks off wondering what was going on with his band today. First, Andy had been holding CC who was crying of all things. Then Jake shoved me out of the way and didn’t apologize, and now Ash and Jinxx are apparently a thing now. Sheesh what the hell is going on?
Andy helped CC brush his hair, making sure to get each and every tangle out. His long nimble fingers relaxed the tearstained drummer and helped to pick his spirits up. CC dried his face and looked up at the clear blue eyes. “A-Andy??” Andy smiled and helped him up kissing the slightly shorter man’s forehead. “Yes hon?” cc nuzzled into Andy’s chest and mumbles, “thank you…” Andy smiles and tilts his face up pressing their lips together in a sweet kiss. “Chuppie, you’re so precious to me. You have to promise to always remember that okay?”
He nods and kisses him again his heart still heavy and sighs. “C’mon Andy, we have to get ready to go onstage.” Andy agrees and goes to dress leaving CC standing by the mirror. He slips on his vest and a sob shakes his shoulders as he rushes towards the bathroom.
Jake sighs and sits with his head in his hands. He stiffens when a delicate hand touches him and a small body settles beside him. Jake looks up and sees a messy head of blonde hair with crystal blue eyes. “Oh…hey kid.” The blonde rolls his eyes and hugs Jake. He pulls back shocked and gives him a weird look. “Um, sorry I don’t know you.” He laughs and smiles as the blonde pokes his cheek, “I’m Remy.”
Remy sits back and talks with Jake for a bit, bringing a smile and cracking jokes, just being friends. Jake shows him a few of his signature poses and Remy fixes his makeup and paint for him.
Jake checks the time and starts scrambling to get up. “Shit, shit, shit!!” he slips on his jacket and rushes out backstage where the guys are getting antsy.
“Dude where the hell were you?!!?” Ashley yells. Andy tosses him his guitar and nods to the guys. “Discuss it later lets go” he heads out and greets the crowd. Jake follows and looks over the crowd looking for a single face and frowns when he doesn’t see it.
Everything is going great for the show. Nobody misses a que and Andy is able to keep his voice from cracking even though he’s feeling under the weather. Ash and Jinxx are playing back to back and Jake is preparing to launch into his solo when CC collapses behind the drums. Everything goes quiet for a moment as they try to awaken him…
