My Fallen Angel

Demon Blood

"Kenna!" someone kept screaming all of a sudden, pulling me out of my stupor. "Kenna! Kenna!"
their voice was desperate.
I creaked my eyes open, seeing someone was holding me against them, my head against their shoulder.
My vision swam; I couldn't see who it was.
"Kenna, wake up!"
Andiel.
My eyes roved upward, searching for his face, my eyes finally finding his.
"Kenna!" he said in relief, cradling my face. "What happened? No, don't move. You're bleeding everywhere."
He suddenly hissed, jerking his hand back as he touched my blood. He looked at his hand in shock as the black substance burned his sensitive skin.
"Ash- Ashl---." I tried to tell him who I needed, but my tongue felt thick, my mouth so dry I could barely speak.
"I called him," he assured me. "I called an ambulance too. No, don't speak, save your strength," he pressed his fingers against my lips, and in a still sensible part of my brain I realized he wasn't suddenly enamored with me.
That was bad.
"I can't feel anything," I whispered, street lights blinding me. His face became pinched, and he stroked my hair from my face.
"It's gonna be okay," he whispered to me as he rocked me slightly. "You're gonna be okay."
No...
I wasn't.
This was....
Was...
"Stay with me, dammit!" Andiel thundered at me, turning my face to where I had to look at him. "I won't let you go, Kenali! You stay with me or I'll never forgive you for this!"
"You wouldn't anyway," I whispered, searching his night blue eyes. It was like you could see the galaxy in them, they were so blue and endless, comforting.
His face softened, and I could see a soft white glow behind him.
I let my eyes trail over his shoulder, but that couldn't be right.
His wings were behind him, curled close around us, as if he was sheltering us.
But he was human.
"I wish you hadn't come here, Kenali," Andiel murmured, stroking my face. "This world is to cruel for you."
I had figured that out already. I closed my eyes, unable to look at him anymore.
I pressed my face into his arm as I cried, knowing I was hallucinating. This was just Andy, not Andiel. Andiel was locked away in this human body, he couldn't remember me or anything from before.
It was a nice daydream though.
"Kenna!"
Ashlandil!
My eyes shot open as Ashley fell to his knees beside us, horrified.
"What happened?" he rasped, as pale as I had ever seen him. I reached for him, and he took me into his lap, Andy relinquishing his hold almost reluctantly, my pain-warped brain wanted to believe.
"Shh, Kenali, don't cry," Ashlandil whispered, brushing my tears away. "I'm here, I'll make it stop."
It was like he read my mind.
He lifted his wrist to his lips, and I heard Andy demand something as blood started dripping down Ashlandils arm. He pressed his wound against my mouth, his hot blood seeping into my mouth, soothing the pain almost instantly.
I clasped my injured hand over his, closing my eyes as I greedily drank, groaning as I felt the hot spasms of pain start to subside.
He abruptly jerked from my grasp, and I whimpered, opening my eyes as I wanted more.
I needed more.
"Shut the fuck up already!" he growled, looking at someone who wasn't me. He stood, holding me tightly in his arms as he carried me into darkness. "You have no idea what's going on!"
I pressed my face against his neck.
I flexed my fingers in his shirt as feeling returned to them, the wound in my hand starting to finally heal.
It itched.
I squirmed, feeling overly warm all of a sudden.
"No, don't fight, Kenali," Ashlandil murmured, lights abruptly blinding me again. He laid me down, and I writhed, clawing at the material that burned my skin.
"Get it off!" I rasped desperately, feeling the blood that wasn't mine sting.
It was everywhere --- on my chest, under my nails, on my face --- it burned!
"Ken--- hey, stop!"
"Get it off!" I screamed at him, tearing at my clothes.
"Fuck! Hey, no, don't --- Kenali!" he grabbed my wrists, stopping me. "Calm down! What happened to you? I can't help you unless I know what's wrong!
" "Raza," I hissed, slamming my head back against the bunk beneath me. "Demons!"
"What is she talking about?"
"Get me some water and a rag, quickly! Kenali, look at me!" he ordered, and my eyes roved in his direction as I tried to fight him. "Where does it burn?"
"Everywhere," I whimpered, trying to pull away from him.
His face became strained.
"Here!" a rag was abruptly shoved into Ashleys hand. He pressed it against my face, wiping away all the black stains, and I jerked, flailing away from him.
it hurt!
He gave a growl of frustration, and then he was dragging me from the bunk and into the aisle, straddling my waist to keep me down.
"Stop fighting, dammit!" he hissed at me, trying to hold me down.
I snarled at him, fighting him as he tried to touch me --- it was burning!
And I was angry, so angry. I just wanted to destroy something, anything --- I needed to dull the anger!
"Hold down her arms," Ashley barked at someone as he wrenched the hoody off of me.
"But ---."
"Just fucking do what I tell you, Andy!" Ashley pressed a hand against my chest, keeping me against the ground, and someone grabbed my wrists, pulling them above my head.
I screamed at them furiously, wishing I could tear them to pieces.
And I would if I could get my teeth on them!
The angel on top of me grunted as I thrashed my legs, the rag sizzling as he attempted to wash the demon blood off my skin. I strained against the grip on my wrists, but I couldn't break free for some reason.
No human should be able to hold me!
I dug my nails into his skin, hearing him yelp in pain as he started to bleed, the spicy scent of human blood filling the air.
But his blood didn't smell normal.
I writhed again, screeching obscenities at them as I tried to escape.
The angels hand got close to my lips as he wiped at my shoulder, which sent spirals of pain down into my torso. I growled, and my teeth sank into the flesh of his palm.
He howled, and slammed my head back, surprising me enough where I let go, and he jerked his hand away.
I cackled at his expression, and suddenly arched my hips, overbalancing him and sending him falling off of me with a curse.
I wrenched my wrists away from the shocked human and turned on him.
He scrambled back away from me, but I was faster, and I had him pinned against the ground in seconds. I straddled his hips, my nails digging into his shoulders as I gazed down at him hungrily.
His eyes were wide.
"Kenna!" he grabbed my wrists, trying to push me off.
I didn't recognize that name.
I leaned down, inhaling his heavenly scent. He smelled so good, amd his blood was spicy, but it also smelled of angel.
Was he nephilim? I tilted my head as I looked down at him.
I grabbed one of his wrists, pressing my lips against the open wounds from my nails, and I closed my eyes as I savored the taste.
It tasted like heaven.
"No, Kenali!" I glanced over my shoulder, human blood seeping over my lips as I growled softly at the angel cautiously approaching me.
"He's mine," I snarled, seeing the angels red eyes narrow.
"That's Andy, remember?" he told me softly. "You're here to help him. You don't want to hurt him."
I bared my teeth at him in warning.
"Kenali," I cut my eyes down at the human, seeing he was staring at me calmly, "calm down. Fight it."
"Who are you to speak to me?" I hissed down at him, my gums aching. I was breathing hard, and my skin was starting to blister.
Pain was coming back, and I didn't want it!
I tightened my hold on his wrist, seeing him flinch in pain.
Fight it? Fight what? My hand spasmed, and I released him, clutching my arm.
I howled in sudden pain, and someoee grabbed me, dragging me off the human.
But I wanted his blood!
"I want every drop," I snarled, thrashing again, but the angels arms were like bonds agsinst me as he held me tightly until I wore myself put.
I panted, and he tossed the rag at the human bloodbag. "Quickly, wet it again and then wash her off. We need to get the poison off her skin."
The human disappeared, and I strained against the angel.
"You're going to hurt yourself, Kenali, stop," he grunted, holding my head back against his shoulder, bite marks still on his hand.
"Let go!"
"No!" he tightened his grip, and then the human was back and rubbing hastily at my skin, his blood running down his wrists, and I strained toward the tantilizing scent.
I hissed as the rag swept over the blisters, and thrashed wildly again, wanting to fight them.
But I was getting tired, and they wouldn't stop.
I wanted to kill them!
The humans face was white with terror as the rag dissolved in his hands, which were burned from touching the blood.
I leaned back against the angel, abruptly exhausted. I slumped, and he cautiously loosened his grip.
"Kenali?" he murmured warily, and I sighed, my eyes closed.
The pain was going away.
Finally.
