andys pov
its been a month since mirnada went into the hospitail, and shes already started to loose her hair. its hard, seeing her so weak, you can see just how hard being away from cory like this is. Its as if she lost all her stregnth, and doesnt care to beat this. hats why today i was going to visit her.
''k cor, time to get going'' i said drying my hands on a dish towel
''k daddy'' he hurried along from his room, and slipped on his shoes, while i did the same. i scouped him up into my arms and carried him to the car.
after making sure he was sucured in his car seat, we took off to jake and ella. Cory was going to spend the day with them, since miranda was at her worst today. the worst ive ever seen.
''hey little dude!'' called jake from the porch, as the dogs ran around the front yard. cory took off, jumping into his uncle jakes arms for aa big hug ''we, are going to have a blast today'' he informed the easily excitable boy
''okay, ill see you at 7?'' i asked
''yup, tell dia i say hi'' he called shutting the door, after the doggs had gone in.
i was worried about seeing miranda, cc said she had had a pretty ruff night, only got an hours sleep she was so sick. Doctors were also worried about her weight, apprenetly its too much so soon, but i think miranda is just not eating out of depression.
i finally got there, as i walked through her room, i found her on the floor, passed out.
''MIRANDA!'' i bellowed, running to her, and taking her into my arms ''HELP! I NEED A NURSE!'' i yelled as loud as i could. serverly nurses burst into the room, running around checking things on machines while i tucked her into her bed. they stuck something into her iv, and annouced she would be fine. ''how could you just let her lay on the fucking floor?'' i was angry
''i was just in here 5 minutes ago, all she said was that she was tired'' said a little nurse, with raven colored hair
''whats wrong, why did she pass out?'' i was so scared
''it was due to hunger. y her levels, it looks like she hasnt eaten in 3 days''
''why would she do that?''
''this is common for people dealing with cancer. she is already seeing herself as dead, so she gives up. shes depressed.''
''ill get her to eat, thank you for your help.. im sorry for yelling at you...''
''i understand'' she left the room, and returned with some food ''for when she wakes'' i nodded my thanks, and watched the door closed behind her.
i waited for hours for miranda to wake, she finally did around 4 ,slowly opening her eyes and then avoidng mine. ''dia...'' i whispered, fighting back the chocking feeling of tears. she didnt answer. ''miranda, please look at me hunny... i know youre not eating... please talk to me''
''i just havent been hungry, okay?'' she snapped
''no, not okay. 3 days without any food? why are you doing this?''
''because i dont want it to come back up...''
''you'll die if you dont eat. i know this is hard, but you have remian strong miranda. for cory'' she started bawling then. i took her in my arms, and held her close
''im not gettng better, why am i not getting better?!'' she cried
''you have to get worse before you get better'' i said, kissing her forehead as she pulled away. i felt something in my hand, lookin i notice a clump of her hair, i tucked it away, hoping she didnt see.
''im so tired of being in the fucking place! i hate it here, theres nothing to do, or look at! All i do is waste time sitting here, i want to be with you annd cory!'' she was a mess.
''you will soon, i promise''
''h=dont promise, you dont know what will happen next...''
''i do, because i know you. you are going to beat this, i know because you are so damn strong''
''i wish my mom was here...'' she whispered so quietly, i barley heard her
''she is miranda, right here'' i pointed to her heart '' she will always be with you, you were the love of her life''
''you didnt even know her''
''i dont need to. its hard for you not to be the love of anyones life''
''are you saying....''
''i love you miranda. i always have, and always will''
