Drowning
"Hey Montana," Sammi's soft voice sounds from the door and I look up from Ashley, into her eyes.
"Hey Sammi... I'm sorry, this happens everywhere I go... my first foster family's son drowned, the seconds daughter became a killer, the thrid raped me, the fourth commited suicide... the fifth was kidnapped..." I whisper quietly and her eyes widen before she walks over to me, kneeling next to the bed. I've only know these people for 2 weeks but they are my family.
"It wasn't your fault Montana, I promise. I know he loves you, I know he does. Just be careful, you've both been hurt to many times." Sammi says and I nod before kissing Ashley's cheek gently.
"He asked me to move in with him, I said yes. I actually feel safe around him Sammi... I really do."
*Valentines day*
"Ashley I-" My voice is cut off by moaning from our bedroom. Is he- no no no he promised... I drop his present to the ground and take off running down the hallway; and there he is, fucking Kina. I choke on tears but he doesn't notice me so I turn and run. I leave my phone on the counter after writing a not.

I'm done, this is it. I saw Ashley cheating on me with Kina. Today is fucking Valentines day and I've been hurt so much. I can't take it anymore. I'm moving on. Thanks for the second chance at life... really but this is what always happens. Next time I won't be so stupid, next time I won't be nieve.... next time, I might not be me.

I sign my name with florish and bolt out the door, only taking my electric blue guitar and wallet. I won't need anything else where I'm going. I won't need anyone else... ever again...
