Jinxx's P.O.V.

I sat on the couch in the front lounge starring at Elise's number, internally debating whether I should text her or not. Jake asks, "Why don't you invite her to the show tomorrow night?" I reply, "I don't know man." Then he adds, "Just invite her as a friend." With that I click on her number and text:
Jinxx: Hey. It's Jinxx. I was wondering if you would like to come to our show tomorrow night.
Elise: Hello Jinxx I would love to. Where and what time?
Jinxx: The arena downtown @ 8PM. I'll leave a pass for you.
Elise: See you tomorrow night Jinxx.
Jinxx: Looking forward to it Elise :)
I really like spending time with Elise. Something tells me we're gonna be great friends. My subconscious sneers at me, 'I bet you'd secretly like to be more.' I shake away the thought as I fall asleep.

Elise's P.O.V.

I was beyond excited that Jinxx invited me tomorrow night. Mom and dad would flip out if they knew so I'll have to sneak out. I laid in bed trying to sleep but, my mind was still pretty much awake. To help pass the time I grab my laptop getting onto YouTube and typed in Black Veil Brides. Interviews and videos galore pop up. It's gonna take a while to get through this. I click on the first video to catch my attention which was Perfect Weapon. That was just their early stuff, I'm in for a LONG night.

Finally at about 6 in the morning I sleepily turn off my laptop. I watched a good majority of their videos and interviews and even some episodes of Average Joe. I collapse onto my bed and fall into a deep much welcomed sleep. Some hours later mom wakes me up saying, "Elise. Wake up honey." I ask groggily, "What time is it?" She replies, "A little after 2." Then she asks while feeling my forehead, "Are you sick sweetie?" I was tempted to ask her if she was sick she's never this nice. Instead I say, "No. Just trouble sleeping last night." Then I ask, 'Where's dad?" Mom replies, "Working." On a weekend? Mom says, 'Since you practiced so well lately you can have today off." Am I dreaming? Or being punk'd? As she leaves I say, "Thanks mom." She smiles and says, "You earned it hun." Well that was weird to say the least. On the bright side I have a concert to get ready for and won't have to sneak out after all.

Jinxx's P.O.V.

The guys and I were at sound check getting the equipment set for tonight. Soon Juliet and Ella walk in greeting Andy and Jake with a kiss. I have to admit I miss having someone to do that with sometimes. My thoughts then turn to Elise hoping she would show tonight. Once I was sure my guitar was set I headed back to the bus. As I walked to the back I heard CC and Ashley talking.

I got close to listen in and heard Ashley saying, "I think I might try to score with Elise tonight." CC replies, "Man don't. You are asking for a world of trouble. To get to her you'll have to get through Jinxx first." Ash says with that cocky attitude of his, "It's not like their dating. Besides no woman can resist the Purdy charm." I had heard enough and burst through the door saying, "Purdy if you touch her I swear you'll regret it." He asks, "Why do you care?" I reply, "Because she is my friend and you will not make her just another conquest and end up hurting her." Not another word was spoken about it as we got ready for the show.
