chapter 29: resurrect the sun
Juliets POV
as the next coupl of days passed i could see the glimmer in andys eyes starting to fade. everytime i tried to ask about what was wrong he would tell me oh im tired, its only stress of tours, im bored or nothing... we both know he doesnt want Darcy to go. well of course he doesnt, its his only child. but i guess anyone would
it was the last day we had her with us and we had decided to make one to remember, so we all went out for a huge meal, the whole family. Andy and me, CC and his new girlfriend lauren, jinxx and sammi, jake and ella, ashley and darcy. we all made it alaugh. we started talking about highlights, best moments etc.
"CC whats been the best moment of the tour?" i said at the other end of the table
"well obviously lauren and me, but on the bus...i have to say it was probably when me and jinxx took dars coco puffs -"
"coco POPS!" ash and dar shouted at him
"whatever, when we stol them and hid that from her and she sat outside the bus for a hour waiting for us to give them back but we lost them so we gave her sunny d and she got hyped and she nearly killed ashley, then ther was the tickle wars... the time i dragged her on stage and used her to hold my spare drum sticks....so manyyyyy!"
it was nice we all spent time together before we all got spil tup.
"guys, i just wanna say thank you.." darcy said quietly
"what for sweetie?" andy asked smiling as ashley gave her his leather jacket
"for everything.. juliet, ella, sammi and lauren, you guys made me feel like i fit in and we had the best chats and times together and mak overs and everything, jinxx thansk for the music lessons and hanging out with me on xbox and shit, cc just thanks for being a best friend, jake thanks for all the laughs and for what you and ella gave me in the week made it so special, ash, thanks for being the best boyfriend and friend when ineeded someone, and for making me feel lik th only girl that mattered when things went sour...Daddy, thanks for finding me," tears started rolling down her face, "if you didnt i would have built everything up and made it worse for myself but youve been the best dad anyone could have and i love you daddy, dont forget about me or leave without saying bye, you coming to find me was the best thing that could have happened, thankyou," she was stil in teears,
"sweetie dont cry" andy got up from the seat he was in and ggave he a long hug, "darcy your are the best thing that happened to me, finding you was the best moment of my life and weve had our ups anddowns but i wont ever go without saying bye, you mean more to me than that, i love you kido, dont be upset,"
seeing andy look after darc lik that was so comforting, it was so cute. she came from a broken family but they fixed it... made it work. but leting go will b hard...for us all
