chapter 28: i believe that we all fall down sometimes
Andy POV
the last week i had with my daughter was tough and it went too fucking fast. Darcy was staying close to me and ash, for some reason she wouldnt leave the bus with out jinxx jake and cc too. it was nice how well she bounded with them. but the nights me and dar went out to somewhere, a archade, out for dinner, see a movie, mall anywhere and tonight we went and sat out front of our bus.
"So glad to go home? see your mum?" i asked as i took a sip of the coke we had in bottles by out feet.
"yes and no.. i mean i cant wait to see scout, i mean mum, but i still dont feel liek im up for school just yet even though i only need to be ther for about five lessons" she answered as she moved her newly dyed hair out of her way. now it was blue all over with purple and green ends running through it.
"it'll be ok, we can skyp and we can talk about it, i may even be able to help with music homework," i winked giving her a light nudge
"no dad, you wouldnt understand it, plus jinxx has promised to help,"
"oh jinxx is better than me is he? and hey, darcy-doo, your dad is kinda a rockstar yano,"
"yeah but the only classic music you understand completely is rock, jinxx is gunna help with the classical music section, anyways when am i being dropped off?"
"wer'e gunna tak the bus back so it'll be not tomorrow night, night after that... your mum is home from the movie right?"
"one more night after you drop me home, but i need to turn up to school.."
"i want you to call m if anyon gives you shit, and remember your a biersack now! we dont go down without a fight,"
"i know dad, i need to pack..."
"off you go then, dont let ash destract you again or il kick him," we both laughed,
"i can kick him myself dad, and thanks for being ok with me and him... it sounds stupid but i think i may love him..."
love. she may love him. i know theyve been together a while now but love? i bit my tongue and smiled ltting her know it was fine and after she went i stared in to space.
how did she know she lovd him.. shes 16/17 years old. granted me and scout were in love then, god damn we had a baby, we had our darcy, on the way but with ashley?
i was worried. what if when shes at school he decides he cant wait for her? dont want her? id murder him...she would be destrot... me and him need to talk. afte that ass of a kid Connor hurt her, i will nt let ashley, on of my dear friends hurt her!
my train of thought was inturupted by my girl juliet showeed up, and kissed my cheek
"Babe you okay? seem real off after Dar went to pack?"
"yah im fine, come on let go inside, its getting cold,"
