Chapter Nine: Voice of an Angel

Andy was awoken once more a few hours later by his cell phone going off. "Warning! Warning! An idiot is trying to contact you!" it yelled along with an annoying siren.

Andy groaned and crawled over Vixen to the end of the bed where his leather jacket, and cell phone, were currently at. Vixen, who was still sleeping soundly, burrowed deeper into the black silk pillow she was laying on, letting a sigh of contentment escape her parted lips as she did. Andy smiled over at her before finally answering his phone.

"You better have a good reason for waking me from one of the best sleeps I've had the pleasure of having in a long while you jackass," he growled to the person on the other end. The man chuckled. "You go and get yourself laid Biersack?" Andy groaned again. It was Chris. "No you dick, I just happened to have gotten a good night’s rest.

Where are you?"

Chris chuckled again. "Sure you did," he taunted. "And we're leaving the Oakland airport right now. Your buddies Jinxx and Jake were nice enough to come pick us up. Apparently we're staying at the same hotel there in Modesto. We should be there in..." Andy heard static for a moment before he heard Chris speak to someone he was in the car with. "How long should it take?"

"About an hour and a half to two hours," he heard Jake say on the other end. Static was heard again before Chris spoke. "About-"

"Yeah Cerulli I heard. Alright, let me," he paused and looked back over at Vixen who was still sleeping soundly. "Let me wake Vixen up and tell her. More than likely she'll want to meet you all somewhere so I'll text you the address," he whispered, his eyes never leaving Vixen's sleeping form. Chris chuckled again. "Alright, we'll see you in a couple hours. Dont do anything I wouldnt!"

"Fuck off Cerulli!" Andy growled before ending the call. He rolled his eyes at his phone before placing it back in his jacket. He crawled back up to Vixen and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, gently nuzzling her neck. Vixen sighed in her sleep and snuggled closer to him, but still didnt wake. Andy smiled before kissing her cheek. "Vixen," he whispered. He didnt really want to wake her but he knew she'd want to meet her brother and sister so she had to get up. "Babygirl wake up," he whispered once more, gently shaking her.

Vixen groaned and turned over, burrowing into Andy's chest. "I have an hour before I have to be at the shop, let me sleep," she mumbled. Andy raised a brow at her. "Be at the shop?" he asked aloud. Vixen nodded in her sleep. "Tattoo shop I own. 'Wolf's Den Tattoo'," she mumbled. Andy smiled. Now he knew where to have them all meet.



It took Andy another half hour to get up the gumtion to try and wake Vixen again. This time though, instead of using the conventional methods, he decided to get...un...conventional.

Andy's fingers ran softly down Vixen's side, caressing her skin and he heard a soft moan escape her lips. He smiled at this before he reached his hand beneath her chin and lifted her head up, bending his own down until their lips met.

Another soft moan escaped her lips at this as Vixen melted into her kiss with Andy. She really didnt want to wake up. She was afraid that everything that had happened was a dream and when she woke up she would be alone in her bed once more, not knowing where her brother or sister were, or having the chance to meet one of her favorite artists. But as the kiss ended and she opened her eyes, her gaze caught the bright ocean blue colour of Andy's own eyes and she couldnt help but smile.

"Good morning babygirl," he whispered against her lips, smiling, his eyes sparkling. Vixen's smile widened at his words. "Good morning to you too mister," she whispered back, kissing the tip of his nose lightly. Andy's nose twitched as she did this, making her giggle.

Vixen shook her head and rolled out of bed, heading for her bathroom. "If you want, when I'm done you can take a shower and I'll wash your clothes and stuff for you," she said through the door as she stripped down and stepped into the shower, turning the dials until it was nice and warm. Andy got off the bed as well and walked to the bathroom, leaning up against the door jam, his arms crossed over his chest. "Sure, I'll just chill down here in a towel till my clothes are done. Sounds fun," he said sarcastically.

Vixen giggled and moved the shower curtain back a bit, poking her head out, her red and black hair soaking wet and her stormy blues sparkling with laughter. "Its called spell work genius. I can have them cleaned within five minites." Andy looked at her, impressed. She smiled, then pointed to a CD player mounted on the wall. "Could you turn that on for me please, I would but you know, kinda wet over here," Andy supressed a smirk as his mind went straight to the gutter at her words. Instead he just nodded and did as she asked.

Immediately the bathroom was filled with music from his band. He smirked at this but Vixen didn’t catch it, only smiling herself before going back to her shower. Andy decided to give her some privacy and went back into the bedroom, grabbing his cell phone from his jacket and texting Jinxx, telling him to meet him at Vixen's tattoo shop with Chris and his band. As he was doing so, a voice began to flow from the bathroom into the bedroom, its tone melodic and in harmony with his own on the CD.

It wasnt hard to figure out that Vixen was singing in the shower, but seeing as he'd never heard her before, he was quite taken with her voice. What she did next though shocked even him.

Perfect Weapon began to play and as Andy heard the CD version of himself screaming, he also heard Vixen screaming, matching his own perfectly. Andy's jaw practically hit the floor. He had heard a few chicks who could scream and growl before, don't get him wrong or anything, but for some reason Vixen seemed to take the cake for him.

She was perfect at it. So perfect to him in fact that he would have loved to sing with her. At some point that is.

The water being shut off and Vixen's voice stopping shook Andy from his thoughts and he quickly sent the text to Jinxx, which he had ended up neglecting to do when he became sidetracked by the mysterious and amazing woman known as Vixen, who was currently in the shower singing to his music, and tried to make it look like he had just been hanging out and waiting for her to finish and not listening in like some creep.

Vixen walked out of the bathroom a moment later, a soft looking black towel wrapped around her torso and another being used to dry her hair. She smiled over at Andy as she walked by him, heading for her closet. "You can go ahead and use the shower now if you want. I'll grab your clothes and give em a quick wash while your cleaning up then I'll make us some breakfast. Sound good?" sha asked, turning to look at him as she grabbed a screen printed black t-shirt off a hanger. Andy nodded, trying not to
think of what was under that towel. Which would be nothing but pure pale skin.

Andy gulped audibly and pointed towards the shower. "I'm uh...gonna go get in the shower now," he mumbled, walking in that direction. Vixen just nodded, hiding her smile so he didn’t know she'd heard his thoughts.

Today was going to be fun.
