Chapter Twenty-Five: Enochs High School Vampires?

Vixen, Andy, Ashley, Kitty and Midnight all followed the sleek black Mustang down the road, heading for the outskirts of Modesto. As they had left the house earlier, the information Faith had given Vixen, Andy, Ashley, Kitty, Manson, and Ghost- who insisted on coming along with them, just to make sure his sister's weren't in any danger- very vague information on this new Hunting mission that they were about to embark upon. All she had said was that there was a small nest of Supernatural's- both Werewolves and Vampires it she had heard- that were nearing a majorly populated area...or at least an area that was currently really populated.
Apparently there was some big event going on either near the High School or at the High School itself...or at least, that's what Vixen was guessing. Again, Faith didn't tell them much on what she knew about this new Hunt.

Vixen followed Faith's Mustang, which had just pulled into the parking lot of a veterinary Hospital that was right next to the High School that Vixen had been guessing was having some event going on at. As she parked her Jeep and cut the engine, she looked over at the school. It had many different buildings spread out over the large expanse of acres, half of it being occupied by the orange coloured buildings- the buildings themselves being a sort of dark peach colour while the roofs of the buildings were a dark, almost burnt orange looking colour- while the other half seemed to be covered by a couple of large baseball fields, and a very large almost professional sized Football field. Vixen raised a brow as she, Andy, Ashley, Kitty, and Midnight all got out of the Jeep, Vixen locking the doors behind her before she made her way over to Faith, Manson, and her brother. She looked across the school's large parking lot and caught sight of a large, overpass type bridge, with a metal fencing type of roof (if you could call it a roof). The bridge started at one end of the street across from them, went around in a slight spiral before going straight, high up above the street before finally turning in another spiral as the end of the bridge met with the sidewalk that lead to the school. Vixen guessed that this bridge was most likely what the students of the school used to get across from the street to the school itself in the mornings or used to get back across when school had ended for the day and they made their way back to their homes.

As she looked out at the parking lot, and the overpass bridge next to it, she caught sight of a flashing sign. As she looked closer at it, she was able to make out that it was The High School's sign, saying it's name, along with a digital announcement sign underneath it.
"James C. Enochs High School" it read. And below it, in flashing red lights on the digital sign, it showed that there was an event called "The Black Light Dance" going on that very night. Well. That confirmed her suspicions.

Vixen looked over at Faith who was pulling on a long trench coat, much like the one she was wearing, which concealed her ever present silver sword. She looked over at Vixen. "We split up. Teams of two and three," she said in an authoritative voice. Vixen and the others nodded. Vixen ended up pairing with Andy, while Kitty paired with Ashley. Both pairings seemed to have been anticipated by Faith and Manson, and for obvious reasons; Vixen and Kitty had wanted to pair up and work alongside their mates, something that was, as stated before, Obvious. the reason it was so obvious was for the fact that, as it was always described in books and legends about the werewolf species, the two werewolves- or werewolf and any other species, it didn't really matter- that were mates, always worked best when paired together with the other, especially in combat situations. As for why this was so, there were many theories, and Faith didn't really care which one was the true one at this point. She was just glad to have the two pairs out of the way, even if it now stuck her with the only other werewolf in the group.

Ghost glared at Ashley when his sister said she was going with her mate but decided to say nothing. Which turned out to be a Good idea in the end. Neither Vixen nor Kitty wanted to hear it, nor did they have time.


Once the teams were set, Faith told them to spread out throughout the school. Vixen and Andy were to take the half of the buildings closest to where they currently stood, while Ashley and Kitty took the other half. Faith told them to meet in the middle of the quad area, on a bridge that sat in the middle. Faith, Manson and Ghost on the other hand, were assigned (by Faith herself), to spreading out throughout the back fields and see if they couldn't spot anything.
After giving them their orders, she handed each of them a small ear bud, explaining that it connected them all through the small walkie-talkie she had clipped to her weapons belt. She informed them that if they found anything at all to contact the others through it and they would come to their aid.

She then handed the four of them small white thick pieces of paper that Vixen quickly realised were tickets. When she looked at Faith questioningly she explained. "According to my intel, this place is supposed to be littered with teachers and campus supervisors tonight because of the dance. If you get caught by one, show them that and tell them that one of the two of you are new," she then looked at Ashley and Kitty. "In your case Kitty, I would tell them that Ashley is your brother who has come down from some college to visit you, decided to take you to the dance because no ine else would, and you were showing him around your new school."
Kitty glared at Faith. "Thanks, I think," she grumbled. Vixen just nodded and finally they all headed off in the directions they were assigned.


The first building Vixen and Andy went to was called the "J Building". They quickly found out that each of the buildings were categorized by a letter. The J Building as they also found out, seemed to be mostly centered around the school's Musical department. The first room they went into, Vixen using a quick spell to unlock the door, seemed to be centered around a type of piano class, if the piano/keyboards that lined every inch of space on the walls was any indication. The pair quickly looked around the room for any indication that the group of werewolves or vampires had been in the room, before heading out once more through the second door and repeating their actions through the other rooms in the building- bathrooms included.

An hour later they had found no sign of the group of Supernaturals so far, and they quickly made their way to the last building, one they had passed by earlier when they had decided to check out the smaller building behingd it as well as the two buildings behind and across from the J Building. This one was marked as the "L Building". Vixen wondered why the Hell this school named these buildings with certain letters that technically made no sense or had no connections to the departments that were within their halls. But she didn't dwell on that thought for long, for shortly after they had entered the L Building, Andy pushed her into the shadowy entrance ways of one of the classroom doors, holding a finger to his lips, signaling for her to be silent.

Vixen listened closely for any sound, and at first heard nothing, but after a moment she began to see the pale yellow beam of a flashlight coming down the hall, followed by three sets of footsteps. Vixen and Andy froze, not even daring to breathe, as they watched the two campus supervisors come around the corner.

"I'm telling you Brenda, that girl is a good egg. I don't know what your problem is with her," The first male out of the three campus guards said to the female one. The second male piped up then, insisting on getting his two cents in on the conversation. "In all honesty Terry, I believe that all three of those kids aren't that bad. I mean look at what they do for this school! Angel had an anti-littering group started as well as proposing that Michael make the anti-littering thing a rule," the second male guard, Terry as the man had mentioned his name being, began talking again, picking up where the other left off as they stopped in front of an office that was not ten feet away from where Andy and Vixen were hiding.

"And Zarrion, Hell he's been helping out with us, mentioning if he sees anything suspicious or something like that. Especially if its drug related. That boys got a nose like a damned blood hound I swear, doesn't he Dave?" The man name Dave chuckled, nodding his head.
"Then there's Ravyn," Dave continued, his face turning sorrowful. "That girls had it pretty rough these past couple years," Terry nodded, hos face showing sorrow as well. "But still, she started that anti-bullying group and ever since the bullying and fights have gone down a hell of a lot." Terry nodded at this too, a sudden proud look on both men's faces.

The woman named Brenda gave the two an Andy look and shook her head. "You twi don't seem to understand," she growled. "There is something strang about those little punks. Ever since they got here its just been like...I don't know. They just seem off to me. Sooner or later I will find out what is with those three kids, and when I do..." she trailed off, a malicious smile forming on her lips and Vixen almost gasped when she saw a set of fangs. Shit. This chick was a vamp. "I'm going to make sure EVERYONE knows." With that the vampire campus supervisor named Brenda walked off, leaving Dave and Terry standing there, dumbstruck.

"Did it just sound like she just threaten three Senior Enochs High School students Dave?" Terry asked, glancing at his partner. Dave nodded. "I think its time we tell Coats about Brenda's recent behaviour...c'mon." And with that the two guards once again left Andy and Vixen alone in the hallway.

Vixen and Andy looked at one another. "Well, that was sort of...informative," Andy said, trying to make a joke out of the situation they had just heard. Vixen nodded. "At least we now know where at least ONE of the vampires are. C'mon, its time to meet back up with Ash and my sister." Andy nodded and the two quickly headed out of the building, heading for the cement bridge that could clearly be seen from where they were standing at that moment.

Hey guys, so I'm not to happy with this chapter but I ended it there cause it seemed like a good place to end it at. Anyways, The links I'm putting on here are links to pictures of the High School that is mentioned in this chapter. Yes it was the High School I went to for my Sophore year all the way till I graduated in 2010, also the three people that Dave, Terry, and Brenda, all three are real people and actually work at Enoches as Campus Supervisors. Dave and Terry I was good friends with, Brenda hated me and my boyfriend- at the time boyfriend- as well as my friend Ryan and the rest of our group, WHY we still have never figured out >.< Also, the three people that Dave, Terry, and Brenda were talking about- Ravyn, Angel, and Zarrion- yeah... Ravyn is me, Angel is my boyfirend, and Zarrion was our old friend Ryan Stover haha. I don't know why, but I felt like I just HAD to put the three of us in there lol maybe it was because it was because I was writing about my old High Scholl? I dunno lol. Either way, Ravyn and Angel are what my boyfriend and I were known as in School. My friend Ryan was known as Dragon in school but in a few stories I had written with Ryan in them I had always called him "Zarrion" or "Rion" for short- mostly cause I could still call him Ryan in the stories and no one but myself and Ryan as well would have been any the wiser to that fact lol. So yeah, those three are me and "My Boys" (as I refered to them in school). Haha.

OH!

Well, first, I hope everyones Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate around that time), and your New Years were good. My Christmas was pretty good, my boyfriend came down and spent the night and everything so I got to spend some time with him and all that, but my New Years (Last night), was...well...a really big suprise!

MY BOYFRIEND PROPOSED TO ME LAST NIGHT!!! :D

So, yeah, New Years for me was pretty great. I get to leave the past year, which the first half was filled with pain, anger and anguish, and the other half, which was filled with love, passion and care, can be left to the past (well, the first half of that year at least haha), and now I can move on with my life and move onto more positive things in my life. Like being a good mom to my boyfirend- sorry FIANCEE'S (not used to that yet haha)- kids, and being the best wife that I can when the time comes! :)

I'll start work on the next chapter when I can, but I had an idea (actually it came to me in a sort of dream in a way), and I may start working on ANOTHER story that ties with this one (as well as the original Blood Secrets), and that one has to deal with the Legend that is behind Morgana's Ring. I dunno just yet its still all in the thought proccess area but Ill figure it out soon haha.
