Blood Secrets: Tales of the Children of the Moon

Chapter Twenty: A Rescue Is Here But Has The Enemy Already Won?

Chapter Twenty: A Rescue Is Here But Has The Enemy Already Won?

~*~ Several Weeks Earlier; Black Rose Night Club, East L.A. ~*~

Twenty-six year old Falling In Reverse lead vocalist Ronnie Radke sat at the bar in the V.I.P. section next to his friend, twenty-two year old ex-Motionless In White bassist T.J. Bell, sharing a few drinks- and a shot or two here and there- and talking about Ronnie's old band Escape The Fate.

"So uh, Ronnie," T.J. said, suddenly sounding nervous, as he began swirling the thin black straw that was in his "Orange Climax"- which consisted of Peach Schnapps, Jack Daniels, and Orange and Pineapple juice. Ronnie raised a brow at T.J., wondering what was with the sudden bought of nerves as he took a sip of his drink, a "Cornholio's Revenge"- which consisted of Malibu Rum, Banana Liqueur, Cherry Brandy, Sprite, a few cubes of ice and a wedge of lime.
Many would think the drinks they were drinking were weird or disgusting sounding, just if they had heard what had been in them, but in truth they were both pretty good.

Ronnie shook away the random thought and focused back on his friend who was starting to fidget nervously. "You alright there T.J.?" he asked. The guy was acting as if he had slept with Ronnie's ex-girlfriend or something which honestly, if he had, Ronnie couldn't give a shit less if he had. Jasmine always had been a slut. "Your wondering again Radke, focus!" he scolded himself mentally as T.J. picked up the shot of Jack they had ordered earlier and downed it before he spoke.

"So uh, Craig called me up a few days ago," Ronnie once again raised a brow at T.J. "Okay? What did he want?" he asked, kind of already having a good idea of what it was. T.J. sighed. "He called me up and said that the bassist they had before didn't really work out and uh..." T.J. trailed off and Ronnie rolled his eyes. "Let me guess, Craig asked you to step in and become the new Bassist?" he finished for him. T.J. nodded and slammed down the rest of his Orange Climax before ordering another. "So? Did you accept the post?"

T.J. shook his head. "I told him to give me some time to think it over and I'd call him back," he sighed. "In all honesty though, the reason I wanted to have some time to think it over was because I wanted to talk to you about it first." Ronnie looked at T.J. confused. "Why?"

"Look man," T.J. turned to fully face Ronnie now. "I got mad respect for you dude, and when it comes to you being in Escape The Fate-"

"I'm not in Escape The Fate anymore T.J.," Ronnie interrupted, downing a shot. T.J. nodded and downed his own second shot.

T.J. knew about the history between Craig and Ronnie that resulted in Ronnie leaving the band, and he knew it was a touchy subject for the singer so he quickly moved on. "Anyway Ronnie like I said, I got mad respect for you, and when it comes to the...the legacy, you created with Escape The Fate-" Ronnie snorted into his glass at these words but T.J. continued as if he hadn't been interrupted. "Well, I don't wanna, ya know, step all over that legacy and shit." Ronnie sat there in silence for a moment, contemplating his words. He was beginning to understand where T.J.'s mind was at in this ordeal.

In all honesty, if T.J.'s old band mate Chris Motionless, had called him up out of the blue and asked him if he wanted to become Motionless In White's new Bassist- which would mean taking T.J.'s old spot- Ronnie would be doing the same thing: telling Chris to give him some time to think about it, then calling T.J. up and talking to him about it before giving Chris his answer. So in reality, Ronnie knew where T.J. was coming from.

The two band members sat there for a moment in silence, the only noise being the hard rock music that the night club's DJ had remixed into some sick ass sounding rave music. "Alright, I get where your coming from man," he said finally, nodding at him. T.J. seemed to release a breath that Ronnie didn't think T.J. knew he'd been holding in. "Anyways, as for you 'stepping all over my legacy'," Ronnie made quotes in the air as he said this, taking a drink from his new Cornholio's Revenge, having finished his first minutes before. "Your not going to man."

T.J. looked at Ronnie confused and he sighed. He got up from his bar stool, ordering for a couple beers, and taking one of them along with his other drink, before heading for one of the private rooms there in the V.I.P. section. T.J. grabbed his Orange Climax and the other beer Ronnie had left and quickly followed the man.

Once Ronnie and T.J. were comfortably seated in the leather couches in the V.I.P. room T.J. pounced, asking Ronnie what exactly he had meant earlier in the bar. Ronnie sighed again before he launched into his explanation.

"Alright, so when I say you won't be stepping all over my 'legacy'," once again Ronnie air quoted the word. "I don't mean that you could never 'live up to my legacy'-" again he emphasized his words with air quotes. "cause for one: I'm not that much of a conceited douche bag," T.J. snorted into his drink and Ronnie smirked. "And second: in all honesty man, I think you could not only live UP to that legacy, but you can fucking PASS IT man."

T.J. shook his head at this. "No way dude," he said. "No way I'd be better than you when you were in the band. I mean you were one of it's founder's! You built that band, it was like your baby, and no one, not even me- ESPECIALLY not me- can live up to something like that." Ronnie rolled his eyes at T.J. The little fucker was getting tipsy- or so it seemed- seeing as T.J. wasn't known for being a kiss ass.

"Dude, just...shut up," he chuckled, shaking is head and slamming the rest of his drink before popping open his beer. "You want my honest opinion on Craig's offer?" T.J. nodded downing the rest of his own drink and popping open his beer. "Take it." T.J. looked at Ronnie in surprise. "Wha?"

Ronnie chuckled again. "Call Craig tomorrow and tell him you'll take the job. Hell, if your waiting for me to give you my blessing for it then, by all means man, I here by give you my blessing! Go forth and prosper as Escape The Fate's new Bassist and I wish you the best!" Ronnie raised his bottle in the air and smiled. T.J. grinned before clinking his own bottle against Ronnie's. "To a new beginning and a new band!" he said. Ronnie tipped his bottle towards T.J. before pressing it to his lips and taking a long swig.

Soon after the toast had been made and the two men had settled into the room, talking more on the band life, family life, and whatnot, T.J.'s cellphone began to ring, playing one of his old bands earlier songs, although which one it had been Ronnie couldn't have said. T.J. fished his cellphone out of his pocket, getting up off the couch and moving a few feet away from Ronnie as he answered the call. "Chris! Hey man, what's up? I haven't heard from you in a while," he said, smiling.

Suddenly Ronnie's own cellphone began to ring with "Perfect Weapon" by Black Veil Brides. He immediately knew the caller was Andy. Ronnie had set Black Veil Brides songs as the ringtones for each of the band's members after they had become friends; Ashley had gotten "Beautiful Remains", Jake had gotten "Never Give In", Jinxx had gotten "Sweet Blasphemy", and CC- the bands newest member since their previous drummer Sandra Alvarenga, had departed- had gotten "Heaven's Calling". He hadn't personally chosen the guys' ringtones, having instead handed over his phone to each of them and let them choose their own song- as long as it was from their own band, this way he knew it was them.

Ronnie pulled his cellphone from his leather jacket's pocket and answered it, a smirk on his face, although he didn't really know why. Probably from all the alcohol. Unlike humans, as well as both Low-Blood Werewolves and Low-Blood Vampires, Ronnie, being the High-Blood Vampire that he was, was able to drink mass amounts of alcohol and not feel a thing for a long period of time. It took quite a bit of the stuff to get him tipsy, let alone drunk. The same went for T.J., who was a High-Blood Werewolf. Ronnie shook off his thoughts and finally spoke into the phone, remembering that he had just answered it. "Hey Andy what's up? You anywhere near East L.A.? If so, you should come to the Black Rose and chill with me and T.J."

"I'm not in L.A. Ronnie," Andy said on the other end, sighing. Ronnie knew he had probably rolled his eyes as well but he decided to brush it off. "Remember? Me and the guys went to some small town called 'Riverbank', where Sandra's having her wedding to help her plan it all out like she had asked us to?" It took Ronnie a minute to think on what he had said before he remembered that Andy had indeed said that he and his pack were heading to some small bumpkin town in the middle of bumfuck nowhere called "Riverbank" where they would meet up with Sandra and her fiance' and help with some final preparations for their wedding. He facepalmed himself as he remembered it all. God he felt stupid at that moment. "That's right. Sorry man, I totally spaced on it," he said, pinching the bridge of his nose to stave off the headache he felt suddenly coming on. "Speaking of Sandra, when you go and meet up with her this next time, tell her that I'll be able to make it to the wedding, I just need her to text me the time, date, and address of where she's having it. I lost the invite after Willow got into my office." Andy chuckled on the other end as Ronnie mentioned his daughter. The little girl was a mischievous little shit but Ronnie loved her with all his heart and would do anything for the girl. And she knew it too.

"Wait, Chris slow down man. Vixen is your new Bassist's sister? And what does Kuza have to do with all of this? I thought Kuza said he and Vix broke up after they lost Aimee when she was sixteen?" Ronnie looked over at T.J. as he caught a snippet of the guy's conversation. Who was he talking about? "RADKE!" Ronnie turned back to Andy and his own phone conversation as Andy yelled through the phone, using his last name to grab his attention. "Sorry Biersack, got distracted. So what do I owe the pleasure of this phone call for?" He asked, raising a brow in question even though he knew Andy couldn't see it.

"I need a favor from you bro," Andy said, and Ronnie sat up a little straighter as he caught the tone of desperation in Andy's voice. That wasn't like the Alpha wolf he knew Andy to be. What could be going on over there, what was so bad, that Andy had become desperate for help? "I need you to do a job for me." Ronnie raised a surprised brow at this. What did he mean by That?

"what do you mean you need me to 'do a job'?" Both T.J. and Ronnie looked at one another as they spoke the same words to the person they had been in their separate conversations with. What the fuck? "Did I just hear an echo?" Andy asked. Ronnie shook his head, T.J. doing the same as they returned to their calls, and Ronnie guessed that Chris had asked the same question. "Never mind that," Ronnie snapped, not really meaning to. "What did you mean when you said you needed me to 'do a job'?" Luckily this time, him and T.J. didn't echo each others words, T.J. having phrased his own question differently but the initial meaning still there. Andy sighed. "A certain half black, half red haired birdie told me that you worked with her and her pack in the underground 'Organization' that helps track down human traffickers that specialize in Supernatural clientele and free the girls who have been captured- by said Human Traffickers, 'Master's' I think she had said they were called- as well as take down- again- said men who had taken said girls. Am I correct?" Ronnie sighed, leaning forward on the couch and resting his elbows on his knees, his free hand coming up to rub his temple.

"Ashley." T.J. looked at Ronnie as, once again, they spoke the words, or name this time around, in an eerie unison. Ronnie was starting to get the feeling that both of them were having the same conversation, just with two different people.

"That would be my little birdie," Andy said, and Ronnie could hear the smugness in his tone. He rolled his eyes at said smugness. "Yeah I've worked with her in the past," he admitted reluctantly. "Why what's going on?" On the other end of the phone, Ronnie heard Andy clear his throat and take a moment to collect himself before he spoke. Ronnie could tell that, whatever the kid was about to tell him, it was painful to talk about. "She's been taken man," he finally said after a few moments of silence, his voice filled with despair. Ronnie pulled the phone away from his ear and stared at in in confusion for a moment before replacing it and asking, "Who?"

"My mate." Ronnie's blood chilled in his veins as he heard those words. "I'd just found her Ronnie," Andy continued, and Ronnie felt a rush of sorrow and sympathy for his friend flow over him then. "I'd just found her and then the bastard stole her from me." A choking sound came through the phone then and Ronnie knew that Andy was holding back tears. Man this wasn't good.

He had heard tales about wolves who had found their mates, only to lose them shortly after finding them. According to the stories, those wolves were driven practically insane with grief and rage, vowing revenge on whatever or whoever had taken their mate from them. Sometimes it became so bad that the wolf would charge head long into a battle, disobeying direct orders from their Alpha's and in the end, those actions would lead to their ultimate and untimely deaths. But for an Alpha wolf to lose his mate...that was about ten times worse than a regular wolf, no matter if that Alpha was a Low-Blood or High-Blood. That was one of the few things that the two Werewolf species had in common (there weren't many but there were still some things).
If an Alpha lost his mate, the grief would consume him. He would not be able to eat, drink, sleep, or focus on anything. In most cases, when an Alpha lost their mate, the Alpha would soon perish from lack of food, hydration, or plain exhaustion. There were rare cases of course, like Andy's for example, where the Alpha's mate still lived and had been captured, most of the time by a rival werewolf pack.

In those cases, the Alpha would call upon his pack, and any of his packs allies, and declare war upon the one's who dared to take his mate. All the while though, even as the Alpha did this, keeping up a strong front for his pack and their allies, the grief and rage would burn deep inside of them, slowly consuming them. Only the return of their mate could save them from total destruction.

Now Ronnie's best friend was in this very position and he was being called upon, as one of the Black Veil Brides Werewolf Pack Allies, and being asked to join his friend in the war he was about to wage against the man- or people- who had stolen his mate from him. And Ronnie knew that he would accept the call, no matter what; not just because he was the pack's ally, but because Ronnie considered Andy and the pack his family, his brothers. And Ronnie never abandoned his family.

Ronnie sighed and got up, growling as he thought about what Andy was currently going through again. "What's your mate's name and do you know who took her?" he asked. Ronnie had a feeling that Andy had nodded in answer to his questions on the other end, before remembering that Ronnie couldn't physically see him. "Yeah. Her name is Vixen Sola-"

"Wait," Ronnie interrupted. He knew that last name. But from where? It took him a moment but it finally registered. T.J. had mentioned some guy named Devin Sola, or "Ghost" as people seemed to call him, was Motionless In White's new bassist, taking over T.J.'s old spot and moving Ricky back to lead Guitar. "This chick wouldn't happen to be related in some way to that new bassist that Motionless In White got recently would she?" He asked. There was a pause on the other end of the line before Andy answered. "Yeah she is. She's Devin's younger sister. How did you-"

"T.J.," Ronnie supplied. Andy grunted in response. Ronnie moved the conversation back on track. "Do you know who took her?" He asked. "Oh yeah," Andy growled, and Ronnie heard the sudden change in his tone. There was the anger, the burning rage that came with an Alpha who lost his mate. It was burning ten times hotter within Andy right now than it would be inside say, T.J. for example- if the guy ever found a mate that was- and that was a scary thing to think about. "It was Kuza." Again Ronnie pulled the phone away from his ear and looked at it, stunned and confused. He placed the phone back against his ear and spoke, the confusion clear in his voice. "Come again?"

"You heard me Radke," Andy growled, the anger still apparent in his tone. "It was Kuza. He's been in the Human Trafficking business for years apparently, and no one knew, not even Chris or his band mates. Hell I don't even think T.J. knew, and he was still with Motionless when he first met Vixen years ago." Ronnie raised a brow at this. "Wait, T.J.'s met your chick before?" He asked. "Yeah," Andy replied. "All of them had- minus Devin who hadn't even known she existed at the time-"

"Do I want to know the reason for that one?" Ronnie interrupted. "Nope. Not now at least." Ronnie just nodded and Andy continued. "Anyways, apparently Chris, Ricky, T.J., Ryan, Balz, and Angelo all met Vixen when she was sixteen, when she was dating Kuza- don't ask! I'm not explaining that one right now either, or the whole pregnancy thing-" Ronnie's eyebrows shot up to his hairline at these words. Whoa. THAT had been...unexpected. But like Andy had said, he wasn't willing to explain at the moment and Ronnie wasn't going to pry. "Anyways, the guys all met her around that time and became friends, yada, yada, yada. Moving on." If the situation hadn't been so serious right at that moment, Ronnie probably would have laughed at what Andy had just said. Instead, he held back his laughter and let Andy continue.

"Anyways, getting more to my point. Vixen later found out about Kuza's little side project as a human trafficker when she found a bunch of bio's about different girl's, with signature's from different people as well as Kuza's and an amount that was paid to him, my guess being for that girl or whatever." Ronnie growled as he listened to Andy explain. What he was describing was trademark Human Trafficking papers. Ronnie didn't like where this tale was headed. But he still let Andy continue. He needed as much information on the target as he could get before he went off in search of them, and Andy seemed to have a shit ton of info on hand.

"Your guess would be correct man," Ronnie said through gritted teeth. "That's trademark Human Trafficking Payment Papers." Out of the corner of his eye, Ronnie caught T.J. glancing over at him as he said this, giving him a certain look as he heard the words. Ronnie knew the look. He had caught T.J.'s attention and it seemed that T.J. was having a very similar conversation with Chris. Interesting. "Yeah well, that's not the worst part of what she had found that day," Andy said and Ronnie returned his attention to him, raising a brow. What the Hell could be worse than That? "What else did she find?" He asked, truly curious. Andy growled as he answered. "She found a paper with her name on it, underneath all the others dude. It had her name on it, her description and her bio. The fucking bastard was going to put his own pregnant girlfriend into the Human Trafficking ring!"

Ronnie gasped in surprise. Alright...that was worse. "Are you fucking KIDDING ME??" He yelled. T.J. turned and faced him this time as Andy responded. "I wouldn't kid about something this despicable man, you know that." T.J. raised a questioning brow at him and jerked his head at Ronnie's phone. "What is he saying?" He mouthed. Ronnie held up a finger, motioning for T.J. to hold on for a moment before returning to his call. "Hey Andy hang on a second," he didn't give the Alpha time to respond, hitting the mute button and placing his phone on the glass coffee table in front of the couch he had recently vacated. "What has Chris been talking to you about?" He asked T.J.

T.J. looked at him, confused for a moment before he responded. "He asked me for a favor. Said that he had a job for me and that, thanks to Ashley running her mouth, he knows I can pull it off," Ronnie nodded, having a feeling he knew where T.J.'s conversation with Chris was headed. He decided to cut to the chase and see if his assumption was correct. "This job wouldn't happen to be finding your friend Vixen Sola would it? And bringing down Kuza, who by the way, is apparently in the Supernatural Clientele Human Trafficking business now!" Ronnie added with a fake happy tone. T.J. stared at Ronnie in surprise for a moment before he raised a brow. "Let me guess, Biersack is asking you to do the same thing?"

"Yup," Ronnie replied, popping the p. "There's just one complication with all of this." T.J. just looked at Ronnie, waiting for the vampire to explain. Ronnie sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Vixen is Andy's mate."

T.J.'s eyes widened, his brows shooting up to his hairline, before he facepalmed himself. "Fucking Hell," he groaned. Ronnie nodded in agreement, then looked at T.J's phone, which had been placed next to his own on the coffee table. He looked at the wolf and raised a quizzical brow, smirking. "What do you want to bet those two dumbasses are in the same hotel-"

"House," T.J. interjected. "Chris said he, Ghost's baby sister Kitty, and the guys had all been staying at Vixen's place ever since Andy called them and told them he'd found Ghost's 'long lost sister'," Ronnie rolled his eyes. Of course.

"Okay then. What do you want to bet those two dumbasses are in the same house right now, calling the two of us, telling us pretty much the same fucking thing, and not even realizing that they are?" T.J. grinned as he thought of that scenario. God that would be only too hilarious. "Should we go and see?" he asked, pointing at the two phones. Ronnie nodded.

"Dude what the fuck? This shit is important!" Both Ronnie and T.J. tried to hold back their laughter as they heard the unison responses of Chris and Andy. Ronnie nodded to T.J. who nodded back and Ronnie asked, "Hey Andy are you anywhere near that Chris Motionless guy T.J. used to work with?" At the same time T.J. asked, "Hey Chris are you anywhere near that Andy Biersack guy Ronnie's friends with?" Both men quickly put their phones on speaker and waited for Chris and Andy's replies, placing a hand over their mouth's to stifle their laughter.
There was a pause on the other end of both the phone's before the two spoke, echoing one another. "Yeah, he's around here somewhere, why?" Another moment of silence was heard through both phones before two echoing slaps were heard. Ronnie and T.J. snorted, clamping their hands tighter over their mouth's, so their friends didn't hear their laughter over the two of them facepalming themselves.

Once more unison words were echoed through the two phones. "I'll call you back in a moment." and with that both phones went dead.

As soon as the lines went dead Ronnie and T.J. broke into hysterical laughter. "That was just too good man," T.J. said, his face red from laughing. Ronnie only nodded in response. A moment later a knock sounded on their door. Ronnie yelled for the person behind the door to enter. After a pause, a young woman with raven black hair and pale skin entered the room and both boys grinned at her. I mean who wouldn't be drooling over someone wearing some black, skin tight latex crop top and a matching skirt that reached barely below her sweet ass?

The girl cleared her throat and both boys shook their heads, clearing their naughty thoughts and turning their attention back to the girl. "Well hello there boys," she said in a sweet accent that T.J. immediately picked up as Irish. "My name is Annabelle. I just thought I'd pop in and check on you, see if you'd like anything else from the bar or anything from the kitchens?"

T.J. looked at Ronnie for a split second before rattling off the drinks that came to his mind. "Yes my lovely lass," he said, playing up on the fact that he knew she was Irish. By the way Annabelle blushed and Ronnie looked at him in surprise and admiration, they both seemed surprised he caught it as well. "My friend Ronnie here will take a Royal Flush," T.J. caught Ronnie raising a brow at him from the corner of his eye but ignored it. "I myself would like a Green Demon if you would be so kind," he added with a well convincing Irish accent and a bit of dramatic charm. Annabelle giggled as she took down the order.

"Oh, and one last thing lass," Annabelle raised a brow, waiting. "Three shots of your Terror From The Deep. One for myself, that lad there," T.J. pointed to both himself and Ronnie in turn before gazing deep into her ivy green eyes. "And one for yerself, for after yer shift."

Annabelle blushed a deep scarlet and nodded, doing a small curtsy. T.J. grinned before walking up to her, taking the her hand in his own and placing a kiss on her knuckles. "You look very stunning tonight by the way, Lady Annabelle," he whispered against her knuckles. If it was ever possible, Annabelle blushed an even deeper scarlet at this and T.J. had a feeling she didn't get many compliments. "Thank you Mr.-"

"Thomas," T.J. supplied. "But please, call me T.J. All my friends do. Why not add another friend?" Annabelle smiled and nodded. "Thank you, T.J.," she said as he released her hand. T.J. grinned wider. "Any time love." And with those words Annabelle left to get their new drinks.

Ronnie glared at T.J. as he resumed his spot on the opposite couch. He scoffed at the wolf. "Man, can you NOT flirt with a chick? For just like, one day?" T.J. shook his head still grinning. "Nope!"

~*~ Several Weeks Later ~*~

Ronnie and T.J. pulled up to an abandoned looking warehouse building in west Seattle's Industrial district, Ronnie cutting the engine to the black SUV with dark tinted windows they'd rented. They sighed as they stared at the building, remembering that night so many weeks ago that had gotten them here.

Chris and Andy had finally called the two men back- about ten minutes after they had originally said they would- and repeated what they had told Ronnie and T.J., only this time with more detail, facts, and information that the two had needed.
The two friends had, of course, accepted the job the Alpha Wolf and Vampire had asked them to do and immediately set off to begin their task, calling in every informant, ally, and contact they had at they're disposals, thanks to the "Organization". But even with all the assets they'd had, it had still taken this long to find a lead on the bastard. But they'd found the place. Finally.
T.J. looked over at Ronnie, knowing he was remembering the night they had gotten the calls from Chris and Andy just like he was. But now wasn't the time for remembering. Now was the time for scouting and observation. According to the Intel they had on Kuza at the "Organization", Kuza himself was completely run-of-the-mill human, but that didn't mean he didn't have Supernaturals on the payroll. And- again according to their Intel- he did. From what they knew, Kuza's band mate and "Submissive", Franccesca De Struct, was a Siren.
T.J. shivered in disgust as he thought of the word; how anyone could do that he didn't know, he liked a fight, a kind of fire in his women, not pure submission. As it was Franccesca was already going to prove to be a formidable foe; Siren's were deadly Supernaturals in they're own right, even if people wrote them off as a sub species who couldn't do much.
They'd also heard rumors that Kuza had some even deadlier Supernaturals on his payroll. One's like "Black Eyed Beings", who were beings that could take human form but have black, soulless eyes and emanate a sense of pure evil. It had been rumored that Kuza had also had taken in humans and, after getting them to accept their role and job, he had Demons possess said willing humans, therefore making them his very own Demon Security. This was also a major danger, not just to Ronnie and T.J. themselves, but also to the humans the Demons were possessing. If- and when- those humans were able to be exorcised by one of the "Organizations" many allies that specialized in Demonology, those Humans minds would be traumatized, scarred and warped for the rest of their lives. Most of the stories that T.J. had heard on Demonic possession and the human that survived after the Demon was gone...well...they didn't live long afterwards, most of the time committing suicide because they couldn't deal with all the dark deeds that the Demon who possessed their bodies made them do, while they were trapped within their own minds, unable to fight, unable to stop the Demon from creating the chaos that they always did. But, as impossible as it may sound, that wasn't some of the worse things they had heard.
It was rumored that Kuza had found a pack of Shapeshifters and recruited them. But these shapeshifters weren't the average Turn-From-Human-Into-Any-Animal-They-Wish kind of Shapeshifters. No, these one's were a rare species of Shapeshifter. These Shapeshifters were able to shift and mold their bodies into any human being that they wished as long as they had touched that person, even if that touch was just brushing up against them, or a finger touching their skin. It didn't matter. So with that in mind, they now had to be very cautious, because who knew who was truly who in there? Hell, Kuza could have let every one of his Shapeshifters touch the girls he had captured as a "just in case" something like April of 2007- the year Ashley was able to free Vixen and a few other girls and almost brought Kuza down for good (not that T.J. and Ronnie had known her target had been Kuza at that time)- happened again.
So this time around, both boys had done their research and had found a few useful spells that worked on identifying each Supernatural that may cross their path while they were in there, and also a few spells to protect them from the dangerous one's. They'd also found a few spells that helped them to create mental links with any of the girls they saw or met there in the warehouse and, with said spells in place, no vampire, werewolf, or other Supernatural with Telepathic abilities would be able to hear the conversations that were going on between them and the girls. Anyone who decided to "slip" into their minds would only hear the things they would be looking for: things like, which girl looked the best for them to take home and make their new little sex slave, which one looked like she would make the best house slave. Things of that disgusting nature that never truly would run through the two men's minds.
T.J. sighed as he got out of the SUV, Ronnie following, locking the car behind him. Both men cleared their minds of the memory they had been reliving and looked at one another. "Ready man?" Ronnie asked. T.J. nodded. "Lets go find our girls," he growled. Ronnie flinched at T.J.'s tone. He felt bad for the kid. Vixen was no longer the only one they were here for. Apparently, just days after Ronnie and T.J. had left The Black Rose, and Annabelle, and started their search for Kuza, Annabelle had been taken. The worst part about it all?
T.J. had been on the phone with her when Kuza himself grabbed her.
Ronnie would never forget the terror and rage that crossed T.J.'s face as he told Annabelle to hide the night Kuza and his men broke into her apartment. He had told her to stay on the phone with her, that Ronnie was calling 911- they had still been in L.A. about to catch a flight to Oakland when it happened- and for her to run to her bedroom and hide under the bed. He had told her to try and describe the men as best she could from what she saw, but she couldn't give them much at that point, she was too terrified. T.J. had tried to calm her the best he could, telling her to keep as quiet as possible, to not even move, barely breathe, and she had done so, but everything they had done to try and stop what had been happening was for not.
Ronnie had heard the scream from the phone as whoever it had been had found her, and they hadn't known at the time, until Annabelle did something that reminded Ronnie of that Liam Neison movie Taken. She started screaming out a description of who had grabbed her, even as she was dragged away from the phone. She screamed out his height, that he had tattoos, piercings, a nose piercing, and then they heard her gasp and scream. "IT'S KUZA! THE LEAD SINGER FROM THE BAND KUZA! THOMAS HELP! ITS KUZA!!" Ronnie had a feeling the reason Annabelle had called T.J. by his first name instead of "T.J." was because she knew that Kuza knew T.J. and she didn't want to tip off Kuza by letting him know that she had been talking to him.
She had continued to scream the same words until they could no longer hear her, and that was when they heard the phone be picked up and heard Kuza chuckling on the other end. "So I guess this is the Thomas that little Irish whore was yelling about a moment ago?" he had said. Ronnie had had to hold T.J. back so he didn't punch the concrete wall beside them as he had growled, using the same Irish accent he had first used with Annabelle to throw Kuza off. "Aye, I be the very one, and I warn ye now, whoever ye be. You have stolen me girl, and if ye harm a single strand of flaming red hair on her precious head, you'll be getting more then me wrath. I will rain down the wrath of the Celtic Gods on your arse boy. You touch her, and you better be ready to die." T.J. had meant every word in that moment to. He had no idea how he would do it, but he knew damn well that he would find a fucking way.
Kuza had just laughed at T.J.'s words. Laughed. Ronnie could have sworn the guy was fucking insane just by that laugh. "Your never going to see your girl again dude. She's mine now. And soon, she'll be some happy Vampire's new daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a little bit of sex between each meal. Might as well get over her and move onto some new and better tail now man. Honestly she wasn't that good looking anyways, may have to lower her price but hey, business is business as they say." And with those words Annabelle's phone had been cut off and T.J. had gone into a rage.
Since that day, Ronnie and T.J. had been working twice as hard to find the girls. And now that they found the warehouse, Ronnie just hoped that Vixen and Annabelle were still in there. And that T.J. could keep his cool when they met Kuza face to face. Please God let them still be in there...
"Ronnie!" Ronnie snapped out of his thoughts, shaking his head and looking around for T.J., who wasn't where he was originally at when his brain had gone back to that day at the airport. Now he was over by the door to the warehouse, one hand holding its handle, and looking back at him with a cocked brow. "Let's go, we don't have all day!" He yelled. Technically they did have all day. They had as much time as they needed to be able to get the girls out and take Kuza down, but Ronnie knew T.J. was saying those words for the benefit of anyone who may already be listening. So he just nodded and headed for the warehouse and the Master who dwelled within...

Vixen sighed silently to herself as she, Malice, Taylor, and the new girl Annabelle- who had been thrown into the cell Vixen now shared with the two other girls- were wrenched from the room and dragged into Kuza's private chambers. Honestly is was mostly just one big room that had been made up into multiple make-shifted areas. Instead of the giant open space, there was now a large entry way, a sort of bar/lounge area where Kuza hash out any final details with them before making a deal- or "sale" as he called it, and then of course there was the bedroom that Kuza had thrown Vixen into all those weeks ago and raped. According to Malice, that room was reserved for when Kuza felt like he needed to break one of the girls; to show them who was the Master, and who was the Submissive.

Taylor had been in that room four times since she had arrived. Malice had been in there at least six times, since Vixen had met her (who knew how many times she had suffered the horrors that laid behind that door before she got here). Annabelle had been in there ten times since her arrival, the tenth time being just last night. And Vixen? Vixen had lost count as to how many times Kuza or his henchmen had hauled her out of her cell and into that room to be humiliated and raped in front of all of Kuza's peers and clients. There had been times where she had been thrown in there two or three times a day just because she refused to get Franccesca something. But Vixen no longer cared. She continued to fight. She continued because she knew, deep down, that Andy and the others were out there, looking for her, and they would find her, free her, Taylor, Malice, and now Annabelle as well, and she knew that Andy would rip Kuza limb from limb even before her brother could lay a claw on him.

Vixen sighed as one of Kuza's henchmen threw them into the lounge area and behind the bar, taking off the metal cuffs they all were wearing but keeping the collars- which Malice had informed her were actually a form of shock collars, only deadlier- on them, and told them to be ready for their Master and his two newest clients, who would be joining them shortly. Vixen growled at the Demon- yes she meant Demon, as in the man before her that Kuza had hired was Demon possessed- as his gaze swept up and down Annabelle's scantily clad body. All the four girls were aloud to wear was a bra and very short skirt that didn't leave much to the imagination. And the men that worked for Kuza always loved to try and get a small taste of his "merchandise" before he got it sold.

"Bite me you soul sucking dickbag!" Annabelle growled, noticing the Demon's gaze. Malice and Taylor flinched at Annabelle's disobedience, but Vixen grinned. Annabelle was a pure Irish fighter. She had a fiery temper that could match Vixen's and she had the bite to match the bark. She'd seen Annabelle fight off three of Kuza's Demon Security boys by herself before finally being taken down by one of his stupid Vampire's. Vixen had taken an immediate liking to the girl and the two of them had become fast friends because of it.

The Demon glared at Annabelle and growled, stalking up to her, backing her up against the wall. Before any of them knew what had happened, the Demon had grabbed Annabelle by her pale throat and lifted her up off the ground. Taylor and Malice both gasped, Taylor huddling into Malice, who wrapped her arms around her and shielded her eyes from what was happening, glaring at the Demon. "The Master will be furious if you harm what is not yours Demon!" she yelled at the thing, but its black eyes just glared back at her. Vixen growled at the being, glancing around for some sort of weapon that she could use to help her Irish friend. "Let her go you piece of shit or I swear to the Goddess I'll-"

"What's going on in here?" Vixen flinched, as did Malice, Taylor, and the Demon- Annabelle was still struggling against the Demon's hold and quickly losing consciousness so she really couldn't have cared less what else had been going on at that moment- as Kuza's voice boomed off of the metal warehouse's walls. The three girls turned and looked to see their "Master" entering the lounge with his two new clients, Kuza's eyes narrowed on the Demon and his face filled with anger. "Dimitri? What have I told you about touching the merchandise?" Vixen covered her sensitive ears as Kuza's voice once again echoed off the walls, piercing her eardrums. The Demon named Dimitri released Annabelle, who promptly slumped onto the floor, gasping and spluttering, and turned towards Kuza. Vixen and the girls immediately ran to Annabelle's side, checking on her and helping her to stand. "My apologies sir, but this whore was disobeying, and I just thought-"

"I do not pay you to think Dimitri," Kuza growled, crossing his arms over his chest. "I pay you to make sure these sluts are where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be there. Nothing more. Now, you are dismissed Dimitri," Kuza waved his hand towards the door, Dimitri stared at Kuza for a moment. "But-but sir-"

"Did I stutter Dimitri? I don't believe I did. Now, leave my lounge before I have you ripped from that human's body and thrown back into the pit I pulled you from!" Vixen smirked as she caught the look of fear on Dimitri's face before he lowered his head and walked out of the room. Kuza sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "It is so hard to find good henchmen now a days," he grumbled. He looked up and clapped his hands together. "Well then, Apologies for the delay my good man, but now, why don't we have a drink and talk about the terms of what you were wishing for our dear Vixen here," Vixen's eyes snapped up at the mention of her name. She watched as Kuza stepped to the side, revealing a tall man dressed in all black and wearing a long black leather duster. The man's long black hair was pulled back in a low ponytail and with that being done, Vixen could see that he was wearing two necklaces. One of them she recognized as a pendant that was awarded to a female werewolf who had worked in the Law enforcement division for the Werewolf High Council.

She knew this because, on the night she had found her parents murdered, she had looked around at some of the old photographs her parents had had laying about in various places. One of the photos had shown her mother and another woman, both wearing what Vixen could have only guessed was the uniform for the High Council's Law Enforcement division, and both wearing matching pendants that looked just the same as the one now around that man's neck. Vixen could only guess that he must have had a female loved one who was injured or even died in the line of duty to the High Council and had been awarded the pendant, which he now wore to remember her. But she was wrong, for as she caught sight of the second necklace, one she recognized from another photograph, this time being one of her father, and she soon put the puzzle pieces together. This was no man who was a person grieving over a High Council war hero...this man was...

"Tell me again," Kuza said, snapping Vixen out of her thoughts. "What was your name?" The man smiled, his dark brown eyes glowing and showing Vixen exactly what type of Supernatural he was. His gaze locked on Vixen's and his smile grew into that of a maniacal grin. "Vegas," he said in a low, rumbly voice. "My name is Raymond Vegas. And I am very happy to finally meet you Miss Vixen, the last Alpha Female of the Seattle Sola Wolf Pack." Fuck.

Raymond Vegas had found her.

And now he was going to kill her.

Author's Note:
HOLY SHIT!!! VEGAS IS HERE!!!

Well I don't think that's who we were expecting to see! Not with what we were seeing throughout this chapter but, hey, I had to throw a little plot twist in there for ya'll haha.

I have OFFICIALLY beaten my record on how many chapters ever written in a story I have done (fanfiction or not) and I am damn proud of myself right now because normally, I get to nineteen chapters (sometimes less) and then I get such bad writers block that I just...give up. But Children of the Moon? Nah. Had a bump here or there, but no tire screeching fuck Im never going to finish this story kind of writers block yet. Hopefully not EVER!! haha.

Until next time guys! See you on the other side and Blessed Be! In Chapter Twenty-One we'll see if Ronnie and T.J. can get to Vixen in time enough to save her, as well as the other three girls, before Raymond can sink his grimy claws into her!
bye!
