Falling

Still trapped in the chair I didn't know how I could help her. We were both locked in from the outside and there wasn't a single thing that could help me get this gag off or the duct tape.

I suddenly had an idea. The chair was slightly rocking indicating that it was movable. I started to shift my weight edging the chair closer and closer until I was close enough to Blaise. I struggled with the duct tape around my wrists before it became a little bit loose, I eased one hand out and ripped the stupid gag off and the remaing tape. I ran over to the door and screamed.

I screamed for help.

I heard someone scratch at the door handle trying to open it.

"It's no use! It's locked! Do you have a key?!" I shouted. I frantically looked back at Blaise. Blood was everywhere...

I literally stripped and wrapped my clothes around Blaise's broken body, stopping the flow of blood from her weeping arms, I held her tight and wrapped her close around my body. I screamed for help again and that's when the door clicked and swung open.
A middle aged man stood at the frame. "Call an ambulance now!" I shouted to him. He scurried off and minutes later an ambulance arrived, it's sirens blaring faintly.

Blood was still dripping from my wrists and my vision started going foggy. I strained my eyes to stay open, for Blaise's sake. But the heavy veil of unconsiousness pulled me down...
