Somethings happen for a reason

I finally got home on a Friday afternoon. I lived in an empty apartment for only me and my thoughts. After my mom and dad died I think a lot about why they had to go and I had to stay all alone. I have to find something to keep myself from being eaten up by my thoughts about my mom and dad's death. So I decided to fix up my apartment a little. I first went to my room. I opened my closet and started with that mess.

As I was cleaning my closet a box fell from the top shelf in my closet. I picked up the box and opened it up. I discovered a bunch of pictures of me, my mom and my dad. I felt a warm tears creep down my cheeks with sadness. There were pictures of me when I was 5 with ally and my parents. Looking at these pictures brought back memories.

(Flashback)

"Alex!" my dad yelled. Yeah dad?! "Come listen to this song." My dad yelled again. What song is it?! "Just come here",my dad yelled once more. Okay! I came running from my room to the living room. "This is one of my favorite songs by metallica it's called nothing else matters." My dad said."So close no matter how far couldn't be much more from the heart forever trust in who we are and nothing else matters."

More tears ran down my face as I remembered my dad's voice and his smile. I miss his hugs. I miss my mom. She was my best friend. She tought me so much.

I put everything away. I cleaned up my tears. Something was calling me from my dresser. It was a nice pencil sharpener. I went over and took the blade from the pencil sharpener. I went to the bathroom and took a deep breath. The blade was hungry for blood. I was hungry for pain. I took the blade and cut once, twice, three times. Soon enough there were 30 fresh new cuts. I cleaned the cuts and took a shower. The hot water was burning my cuts and pain rushed through my body. I was finished and I got out of the shower put on my pajamas and I looked at the time on my phone. It was 8:05 pm and I had a text message from ally.

Ally asked if she could come over and I agreed. Ten minutes later there was a knock on my front door. I opened it and ally came in. We went upstairs to my room and we both sat on the bed. All asked for clothes to sleep in because all she brought was clothes for the weekend. So I went into my closet picked out clothes for her as she went down stairs to get something to drink. As I was still looking for clothes for ally I heard a loud gasp and glass breaking on the floor. It was ally who gasped. "What did you do to yourself?!?!",Ally said in a sad tone. I coveIed my wrist. I-I'm s-sorry ally.
