Little Miss Suicide

Back In Business?

It's been a couple weeks since that talk with Ronnie. I still haven't decided what to do. I'm stuck between keeping the baby and putting it up for adoption. Abortion was no longer an option in my eyes. I wanted to give the child a chance at life.

I sighed as I slowly walked out of my room, feeling bored with life. Now that I was unemployed daily life was pretty damn boring. I had nothing to do and I just sat around watching tv and whatnot. I flopped onto the couch, turning on the tv and flipping through a few channels to see what was on. I finally landed on an episode of spongebob I rather enjoyed. The episode was about Spongebob's bubble friend, and I was simply chuckling at the annoyance the friend caused all of Bikini Bottom when I felt a pair of warm, soft hands cover my eyes and my vision went blank.

"I have a surprise for you!" Ronnie cooed.

He then replaced his hands with a blindfold, turned off the tv, and helped me to my feet. I chuckled at his silly actions. Ronnie was so overdramatic at times. He began walking me around and the moment I felt warm air brush against my skin I knew we were outside.

"Three... Two... One.... Now!"

Ronnie quickly pulled off my blindfold. We were in the backyard, the sun glistening like gold on the luscious, deep green grass. Flowers scattered around the yard swayed gently in the wind, their stems bending and stretching under their petals' weight. Birds were singing and chirping at us from the trees, their songs mixing in with the soft sound of wind rushing through leaves. But I noticed none of this as my jaw dropped open at the sight in front of me.

"SURPRISE!" Ronnie and a group of four screamed at the top of their lungs.

"I could tell you've been rather depressed and bored not having anything to do at home, so I brought together a group of awesome musicians I know to try and set you up a new band!"

I look over at the group in front of me, glancing at them with wide eyes. The group was made up of two girls and two boys.

"Heya! I'm Chris," a boy sitting at the drums shouted, waving at me and smiling like a dork.

He really did look like a dork, too. His eyes were sitting behind a pair of thin metal-framed glasses, glistening brown behind the lenses. His entire face was covered in faint red blemishes as well as a few fresh ones. His hair was greasy, wavy, and slightly dangled in his eyes. He wore a white and blue striped, button-up shirt that seemed to cling to him like it was a few sizes too small. Though dorky, his arms looked decently strong enough for drum playing and he had a certain spark in his eyes that told me he loved to rock.

"I'm Ruby," a short, energetic girl shouted, running up to shake my hand.

I smiled as her soft pale skin met mine in a firm handshake. Freckles covered her entire body, seeming to explode from her nose and cheeks. Her hair flowed around her shoulders, framing her face in a nearly perfect way with its bright red glow. Orange highlights gave me the feeling this was her natural hair. Her eyes gleamed a vibrant green, sparkling with joy. She had a confident, bouncy posture, her guitar tapping against her back with every movement she made. She wore a faded green tank top and torn black jean shorts.

"I am Gabriel," a deep voice rang in my ears as Ruby pulled away.

Gabriel was a tall, strong guy with a light caramel shade of skin. His eyes were slightly slanted and lined with black in a way that made him look slightly Egyptian to me. I quickly realized he wore contacts as I noticed his bright silver irises. His hair was straight and short, except for his bangs, which dangled in his eyes a bit. It's inky black shade made his bright eyes seem even brighter. He wore a black tank top with a skull and crossbones design and some black jeans. His thick fingers gripped a white guitar.

I turned to the last person and smiled.

"O-oh... Hi... I'm Delilah" she said softly and smiled a little at me from behind her jet black bangs.

Her hair went way down to her thighs, straight and silky like ink itself. Her skin was pale like snow, contrasted by the black gothic looking dress she wore. Her icy blue eyes seemed to pierce my soul, surrounded by luscious long lashes that were just as dark as her hair if not darker. Her lips were painted in that same black, giving her a dangerous yet beautiful look. Yet, despite her unique and badass looking appearance, she was still so obviously shy and nervous. In her hands she held a bright purple bass guitar.
I smile at everyone, barely able to keep my excitement in. Ronnie came up behind me and hugged me, smiling just as wide at the look on my face.

I've got my own band!
