A Secret Isn't Secret When You Tell Everyone

Devin’s ‘next secret’ went viral within 10 minutes of the guys getting the note. The entire world knew about his suicide attempt. A lot of backlash came saying that he deserved to die. Within the hour, another Secret of Devin’s was released; it was shared on alt. Press. That Devin grew up in an abusive household. An hour after that, the whole world knew that he had multiple relationships with men that all ended because he didn’t want to have sex and they wanted sex.

Every single thing Devin ever told Kendall was being released on the Internet slowly. Devin had yet to wake up. Chris saw all that was being posted and decided to speak out, he’d kept his silence for far too long.

“I have decided that I have kept silent for far too long. With recent secrets of Devin’s being released online, I have realized is past due that I make a statement. Devin is a wonderful young guy that I have been privileged to know. When I first met him, he was auditioning for the band. He barely spoke above a whisper and was insanely shy. It took a several few months for him to have a full on conversation. He is insanely nice and a good person. I know that he can be opinionated and annoyed at times, but so am I, I just voice my emotions and let people know that I am not alright with the status quota. Devin would never lay a hand to someone, let alone verbally abuse them. He is still often shy and doesn’t speak much. However, I can tell you that he really did love his girlfriend but she ultimately brought him more harm than good. He did everything he could to please her. Buy her whatever she demanded, no matter how much the cost was, even though he struggled to make ends meet every month. Worn Doll was the one way he was able to get closer to making ends meet. He did a lot and often worked so hard he would not sleep for days until he had packaged all things and had them mailed out to you guys. I often helped him because I saw how stressed he was. He never once asked for Money or help. The help I gave was because I saw him in need, but he never asked for help, and he always thanked me repeatedly and told me he’d do something for me in return. And he always did. He managed to find things that I had spent years looking for, no matter the cost. Devin is an amazing person. You may all wish he was dead, but I don’t. In fact, I wish he wasn’t lying in this hospital bed in front of me. It shouldn’t be this way. It really shouldn’t. You all have jumped to conclusions that he is a terrible person who should pay for the ‘crimes’ he committed. He committed no crime. Unless you call loving a terrible person a crime.

The fact that Chris used his legal last name meant more than anyone could even hypothesize. It meant that he, the man who knew Devin, meant it, not the rock star everyone saw on stage.

The Internet then soaked up his answer and posted an article about it as well. A lot of people began to see what Chris saw, and began to understand the situation on how it truly was, not how Kendall made it out to be.

When Kendall saw Chris’s post, she was livid. Well, she was already pissed when she was arrested for theft, and then she posted bail. Within a few hours, the Internet knew what she had done and that she had been arrested. People began to realize that Devin was in fact not the bad guy and was in fact the victim. Kendall was more than livid now. Her plan was backfiring on her and she was about to go down, but she realized then that if she was going down, she was taking as many people down with her. Devin and his little friends better watch out.
