(Jinxx’s POV)
“How is the--how’s your drink?” Midnight asked him.
“It’s beautiful--”he answered, I was shocked to see Ashley so tongue tied, but then I saw her necklace glowing pink. I smirked silently. “I mean it’s delicious.” he mended himself. “You’re beautiful.” he added, as I saw blush creep up on his cheeks most likely out of embarrassment.
“Thank you.” she said as she blushed and looked away from him. She glanced at him. “Do you want to open up a tab?” she asked, trying to sound professional again.
“Yes.” Ashley answered as he glanced at her.
I couldn’t help but laugh, they were so cute. They both looked at me.
“What’s so funny, Jinxx?” Ashley asked as I saw the blush get darker.
“Nothing.” I told him.
“Yeah, right…what is it?” he asked, the blush fading now.
I looked over at Midnight. “Excuse us, Josefine.” I said.
She nodded as she went back to work, I then pulled him into a secluded room.
“Man what the hell?” Ashley yelled at me.
“Ash, what did you see?” I asked, ignoring the fact he yelled at me.
“What--?” he stopped his question, when he caught on to what I was asking.
“When you shook her hand, you saw something; didn’t you?”
Ashley nodded as he remembered.
“What was it that you saw?”
“I-”He started. “I was like you…she and I were…married with kids.”
I stared at him, as I remembered my mom telling me the same thing when I asked how she and dad meet.
“What?” he exclaimed, pulling me out of my thoughts. “it’s the truth.”
“I believe you.”
“Y-you do?”
I laughed once, as I remembered I had said the same thing to CC. “Yeah.” I answered. “It’s what happens when a mystic meets their mortal true love.” I continued. “remember what I told you about my parents?”
“Yeah.”
“Same thing happened to them as it had happened to you.” I said. “…and I have a feeling that CC will have the same experience.”
“What about Jake and Andy?”
“They already have who they’re supposed to be with.”
Ashley looked away from me.
“Come on, lovebird, let’s get back to the guys.”

(CC’s POV)
After some time, Jinxx found Ashley and the two of them meet our waitress. Ash had started to come over to us but he stopped to introduce himself. He then jerk his hand away and stepped away from her as if she had punched him. Some words were spoken, then Jinxx laughed causing the two of them to look at him. After more words were exchanged, what happened next surprised the hell out of me. Jinxx pulled Ashley into a secluded room. It was some moments later that I saw them exiting the room and making their way over to us.
“What did you talk about?” I asked as I got up to let Jinxx in and they sat down at the table.
“Nothing…” Jinxx answered as he gave me ‘ask me later’ look. “important.” he finished.
I looked over Ashley and he couldn’t keep his eyes off of our waitress. He even had a smile on his face. I sighed as I continued drinking my drink. Once I finished, I got up and went over to the counter. Hoping that the bartender would talk to me.

(Meadow’s POV)
I was attending to some of my other regulars that came in after John left, when I saw the hottie from Jinxx’s table at the end of the counter sitting alone. I went over to him, after I handed a regular his drink.
“Hi, there.” I said.
He looked at me, then sighed as he looked away.
“Is there anything I could help you with?”
He smiled. “Yeah, there is.”
“What could I hook you up with?”
He smiled, then looked at my necklace with surprise rather than shock.
“You’re--” he said loudly. “you’re a mystic…like Jinxx.” he whispered, his voice suddenly soft compared to a second ago.
“Yes,” I answered, even though he didn’t question what I was.
“How old are you?” he asked.
I was surprised at this.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to…”
“Don’t worry about it…” I answered him. “I’m thirty.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, really.”
“We’re the same age.” he smiled weakly.
“Is something bothering you?” I asked, as I studied his body language.
He looked up at me. When did he looked away from me? He then sighed.
“Yeah.” he answered, as if he wasn’t one to open up like this. “Just trying to wrap my head around everything Jinxx had told me and Ash, that’s all.”
“I don’t know what all he told you, but it’s true.”
He looked at me confused then shocked, like I had gotten what Jinxx had told him on point.
“You know, Jinxx is a world-known celebrity in the mystic community.” I tell him.
“Really?” he asked surprised.
“Yeah, he’s really famous…that’s why we were staring.”
He laughed amused. “I kinda figured it was something like that.” he then fell silent.“I’m CC, by the way…” he said then trailed off. “Christian Coma…but I prefer CC.” he smiled.
“I’m Hayden.” I told him. “I prefer Den though.”
“So what is your real name Den?” he asked.
“Meadow.”
“That’s very pretty.”
“Thanks.” I said, as I felt myself blush a little.
“Is Josefine a…mystic too?” he asked.
“Yeah. Her real name is Midnight.”
“I like ‘Meadow’ better.” he said.
I laughed with a smile. “Do you want another round of your drink?” I asked.
“No…give me something different.” he answered.
“What would you like?”
“Surprise me.” he answered.
I took out the makings for an ‘Absolute Monster’ then mixed it up for him and handed it to him.
“Absolute Monster.” I said as I set it in front of him.
He took the glass before my hand left it.

(Andy’s POV)
We all heard a shatter of a full glass and CC apologizing within moments of CC going to the counter. I looked over and noticed CC trying to help. First Ashley, now CC. What has gotten into them?
“CC, it’s all right.” the bartender said.
“Are you sure, Den? I mean it was my fault.”
‘Den’ laughed. “Shit like this happens all the time, we’re in a bar after all.”
“At least let me pay for it….where’s the owner?”
“I am the owner.”
He froze as he looked at his hand. Jinxx then got up and went over to them. When Jinxx reached them, he took CC to the bathroom. I stared in confusion.
“What the hell was that all about?” I asked, looking at Ashley. I hope he spills something. To enlighten me and Jake…if anything for our entertainment.
“I have no idea.” Ashley answered as his eyes flashed over our waitress again.
He then smiled as our waitress came over.
“Hello, gentlemen.” Josefine greeted up for the umpteenth time. “Need another round?”
She must have many costumers who could finish their drinks faster than I can. “No; I’m good.” I answered.
“I’m good.” Jake answered. “Can I get water though?”
“Sure.” she answered.
She then looked at Ashley, they both stared and smiled at each other. He’s probably the reason why she comes over here so often.
“And how about you?” she asked almost whispering, after a while of staring.
“Surprise me.” he matched her vocal level.
She smiled and walked away.
“Ash, what the hell is wrong with you?” I asked.
Ashley looked shocked at me. “What?”
“You normally run after all kinds of girls when we’re at a bar.” I told him. “What is it about Josefine that has you hooked on her?”
“She’s the one to tame me.” He said, in a tone of voice I never heard from him before. Could he be lovesick or is he head over heels for her…or is he just plain drunk? I think I’ll go with the later.
“Okay, you had too many drinks.” I told him with a laugh and a confused look.
Just then, Jinxx and CC came out of the bathroom. Jinxx then waved Josefine over and she placed her hands on CCs. Some moments later, she left their side and returned to the bar counter.

(CC’s POV)
I looked amazed at my hands. Jinxx laughed with amusement, I looked at him.
“That was fucking amazing.”I whispered excitedly.
“I’ve only heard what healing mystics could do…but to see it in action.” Jinxx said in amazement. “Now I’ve seen just about everything.” he added.
I smiled. “Come on, let’s get back to the guys.” I said. “They’re probably ready to go.” I added as we started walk.
“Jake and Andy probably are. Ash is probably waiting for Josefine to get off work.” Jinxx laughed as he spotted Ashley eyeing Midnight everywhere she went.
We took our seats, while Josephine came to our table with some drinks.
“Okay…”she said as she stopped at the end of our booth. “So we have a water for Jake.” she stated as she handed him the water. “ We have an Absolute Monster for CC from Den…our lovely bartender.” She continued as she handed me a pale green drink in a highball glass. “…and lastly, but not least, we have a ‘sweet nasty’ for Ashley.” She finished as she gave him a dirty looking orange drink in a margarita glass.
Ashley’s face lit up with excitement as he heard the name of his drink. She smiled when she saw his reaction. She then looked over at Jinxx.
“Would you like another round?” she asked, still in her cheery mood from whatever happened between her and Ashley.

Jinxx looked up at her then smiled. “No.” he said gently.“thank you for the offer though.” he added.
