(Meadow’s POV)
It was noon, by the time I got to my bar ‘Rose Thorns’. I have no idea why I got to the bar so fucking early, but something told me to open earlier than three o’clock. I told Midnight to be here within an hour.
“Hello, Den.” One of the usuals said as he entered, moments after I settled in. “I wasn’t expecting you to be open early today.” he added
“Hi, John….yeah surprised myself.” I answered. “The usual? Or are you going to change it on me?” I asked as I laughed.
“The usual…open tab.”
I nodded as I whipped up his coke and rum for him.
“What made you open up early?”
“Don’t know…I had gotten this weird feeling that I should open up early today.”
My cover name is Hayden, but I prefer Den for short. My real name is Meadow…yes I am a mystic, I’m only thirty…and that’s in mystic years. Jinxx is a world-known mystic celebrity. Since he’s been in just about every music history there is…that and he’s super gorgeous. I was shocked when I learned that he was in my number one band that I listen to. There was another hottie with him in the band, but I can’t put a name with the hottie’s face. I wasn’t sure if it was CC, Ashley, Jake, or Andy. Ever since I was in mortal school, I was drawn to drummers. Christian Coma seemed a pretty hot name for a drummer to have. Just as I was fixing John his third round, I heard the door open and I froze. I can’t believe they came here...and my bar too...okay stop with the fan girl shit and…Holy Shit...he’s with them…shit what am I supposed to do again?

(Jinxx POV)
We entered this new bar called ‘Rose Thorns’ thought that it’d be a nice start to a break. The girl working the bar froze when we walked in.
“Fan alert.” I whispered as I noticed there were several others looking at us.
We walked further in. “H-hello, welcome to Rose Thorns…please take a seat. I’ll be with you shortly.” the girl at the bar counter said.
I walked out in front first and found a good table. She stared at me the entire time. The others walked in my wake and sat down accordingly: me, CC on my left-which was the open side of the booth facing the bar, Ashley on my right, Jake to his right and Andy on the single chair in front of me.
“Dude, she has not stopped staring at you since we walked in.” CC whispered to me as he stared at her in awe.
“Are you two thinking what I’m thinking?” Ashley whispered to us.
We both nodded. She’s a mystic who knows her mystic music…which as I found out I was a world-known celebrity of, when I was in mystic school.
Jake and Andy gave us looks as if we were having an inside joke without them.

(Meadow’s POV)
As they all piled into the booth that Midnight takes care of, I picked up my phone and texted her.
‘get your fucking ass down here now! World-known mystic at your booth with his band!’
‘You better not be fucking lying again.’ she replied back.
Knowing that I use what I said as a code for getting her down here sooner than scheduled.
I took a picture of the five of them. ‘ I don’t think I could lie in this pic’ I sent my reply with the picture I just took.
‘Holy fucking shit, be there in ten.’
I laughed. After I closed my phone, I looked at her table and I noticed the hottie that was sitting at the opened end of the booth was gone. I went over there, taking my order form with me.
“Hello, I’m sorry for the wait. Your waiter will be Josefine this afternoon. Is there anything I could start you guys off with?” I greeted and asked.
“Um, I’ll have a Witches Brew.”the guy next to Mr. World-known hottie said. “he’ll have a Bud light.” the guy pointed to his left, who laugh. “the one on the end said he was going to have a monster vodka...or was it vodka and monster.”
I laughed. “it’s monster and vodka.” I answered. “and for you?” I asked, as I looked over at the one sitting on the chair.
“Rum and coke on the rocks.”he said.
I nodded. “And for you sir?” I asked looking at the one guy that looked like he was still trying to figure out what to have.
“I’ll have an angry orchard.” he said after some moments of deciding.
“I’ll have those right up for you.” I say, then turn to return to the bar.
Some moments later, the hottie on end of the booth got up and went to the bathroom.

(CC’s POV)
Holy fuck, that bartender is hot. I stared at my reflection in the bathroom mirror. She looks like a smoking hot rockstar...with her spiky long hair and pale baby blue eyes...okay man, get a hold of yourself. I took some deep breaths. Get a grip, if she really is a mystic; she probably already found her true love...so I probably won’t have a chance with her anyway. I sighed as I turned on the water and splashed my face. I then turned off the water and dried up. When my face was dry, I walked out…hoping my nerves didn’t get the best of me.
“Hey man, you okay?” Ashley asked as I took my seat and noticed our drinks were here.
“Yeah…” I answered. “I’m fine.” I added as I looked at the bartender.
“Hey, it looks like someone has a crush.” Jake said in a loving mocking manner.
“Shut up.” I told him as I shrank internally.
I then tore my gaze from the bartender to my drink. I looked up from my drink some seconds later and realized that Jinxx wasn’t sitting next to me, I looked around the bar and noticed he was talking to her at the counter.

(Midnight’s POV)
Moment’s after I saw the text from Meadow, I rushed to finish getting ready. I hope they’re still there when I get there. This is a bad first impression of me for them…and what’s worse, I’m their waitress--I’m their waitress… I screamed a fangirl scream as I finished. I rushed out of the house, wishing I could turn into a bird so I could get there sooner….but I can’t because it was daytime…and to do that during the day will be awkward for me and a frightening delusional for the witnesses. I got into my car and made my way over to the bar. Sadly I didn’t see any indications that the band was still there. So I didn’t get my hopes up. I walked into the bar. I froze, as the door closed behind me. They were still here.
Jake, Andy, and CC were at my table, Jinxx was talking to Meadow. It looks like Jake and Andy were trying to get CC to talk about something he didn’t want to talk about. I looked around for the fifth member, but couldn’t find him. He probably on the side outside on the phone or in the bathroom. I sighed as I went over to the table.
“Hi, I’m M--Josefine; I’ll be your waitress for the rest of your stay.” Shit…I almost slipped up. I normally get the mystic costumers. CC looked at me in a shocked state, but smiled as I caught myself. I then turned and went to the bar.
“--I haven’t told the other two yet…though I’m going to have to soon.” Jinxx was saying to Meadow. “and I think CC has a crush on you.” he added.
“Oh god really?” Meadow asked as she blushed.
He laughed. “Yeah, he hasn’t taken his eyes off of you since we entered.”
“Hi, Jinxx…” I whispered shyly.
He looked at me with his beautiful blue eyes. “Hi, you must be Midnight…or do you prefer Josefine?” he asked.
“Whichever….I don’t mind. I normally take care of our mystic costumers of the bar. Meadow, here, normally takes care of the mortals.” I say, as I blew off the fact that he already knew both of my names. Meadow probably told him anyway.
He laughed as she blushed a little.
“I better go find Ash, he’s been gone for a while.” Jinxx said. “Excuse me, ladies.” he added, as he excused himself from the bar counter.
As he left, I caught a glimpse of his necklace. I then looked at Meadow. She had a worried look on her face.
“What’s the matter, Meadow?” I whispered.
“He needs your help?”
I was shocked…the world-known celebrity wants my help…“with what?”
“You saw his necklace; didn’t you?”
“Yeah, his stone was pink.” I bet Meadow was disappointed in that.
“She found him in his dream last night.”
“I wonder who the lucky girl is.” I said, actually thinking on who it could be, as I looked around the bar at our regular mystic costumers.
“Night focus.”She said, she only used ‘night’ to get me to pay attention.
“Sorry.”
“She’s sick with the disease; from what he told me the doctors only gave her a century to live.”
“How old is she?”
“Same age as him.”
“How is he going to find her in reality?”
“He mentioned something about finding her at their next concert. It’s here in Cali, by the way.”
“I need to go to that concert then.”
She nodded as silence filled the space between us. I then went over to Jinxx’s table.
“How’s the drinks, gentlemen? Do we need another round?”
“Please.” they said in unison.
I nodded. As I turn to go back to the bar counter, I saw Jinxx coming back with…the bass guitar angel. I froze.

(Ashley’s POV)
When Jinxx and I came back into the bar, I saw a girl with a blonde pixie cut and very pale blue eyes. She was frozen in her steps. Staring, most likely at Jinxx, I smiled at her as I made my way to my seat. Though as I did so, I felt her eyes on me. I stopped and turned to look at her.
God, she’s beautiful in this lighting. “Hi, I’m Ashley.” I greeted her with my hand extended.
“Hi, I’m Josefine.” She said, as she took my hand. My god, she has such a sweet voice.
When our hands fully closed around each other, I gasped as I felt like all my air was sucked out of me. Then my vision got clouded as I saw something other than what I should be seeing.
We were outside the bar, we kissed. We were at the alter. We had kids and lived somewhere peaceful. I had…powers?…like Jinxx.
I jerked my hand away and shook my head as my vision came back to me. I stared at her, then at Jinxx. I took a deep shattering breath as I looked back at her.
“It’s nice to meet you.” I told her, my voice sounding like I had the wind knocked out of me.

“Likewise.” her voice of soft sweet honey, sounded winded like mine.
