(CC’s POV)
We continued in silence after he apologized. The first thing I did was look up at the sky, the clouds seem to get darker each time I come out here. This morning, they were white. When I came out to get lunch for us all, they were gray. Now it looks like the heavens were wanting to rip the sky open and let all hell loose. I then looked at Jinxx, he seemed just as dazed as he was inside. His eyes look a bit clouded though. Could he be--? Nah, come on CC. You’ve known him for the past five years…and besides there’s no such thing as magic.
We walked in silence until the bus was far behind, then he froze. He stared ahead of us, I couldn’t see what he was looking at. Though he was looking at something that held his attention for quiet a long time. Then the wind kicked up out of nowhere.

(Jinxx’s POV)
We were half way to where I normally stop to think, when I saw him. Reign. His golden curly hair was blowing in the wind. His muddy hazel eyes were whited over then returned to normal as the wind kicked up and died suddenly. I huffed a sigh as I tore my gaze from him.
“Stay here.” I told CC in a rush.
He just stood there with a confused look on his face, but nodded. I ran up to Reign.
“Hi, Alex.” I said, using his cover name…which is what I refuse to use with the guys.
“That’s it? All I get is a ‘hi’ and my cover name? We’ve been best friends for centuries and haven’t seen each other since last century…and all you have to say is hi?” He answered in his raspy monotone bass voice.
“How have you been?” I asked, irritated.
“I’ve--” he stopped himself.
I looked over my shoulder and noticed CC talking to the others. They then were crossing the street over to us.
“Shit…I told them I’ll be fine.” I muttered to myself. “Listen, Reign, whatever it is you’re here for. I can’t help you. I’m busy.”
He huffed a sigh.

(Jake’s POV)
“Do they know about what you are?” the blonde hair guy Jinxx was talking to asked, as we came up to them.
“Of course, I’m their rhythm guitarist and strings.” Jinxx answered.
“That’s not what I was asking, Jeremy.” the guy said, it seems like their friends. “do they know what you are?” he asked as he emphasis on the what.
We got confused at this.
Jinxx tensed up, as if he knew what the guy meant. “No.” he said stiffly. “And you better not let it slip on what we are. I’ll tell them when I’m ready.”
Okay, now I got a feeling like we’re on a supernatural episode and Jinxx is the main character of the episode.
The guy laughed. “Why? I’ve been telling everyone I met for centuries. Haven’t you, Jeremy?”
Jinxx then pulled the guy up by the collar of his blue shirt. He said something out of anger, but we couldn’t hear it due to rolling thunder.
The guy laughed after the thunder died off.
“Afraid to show your friends what you can do?”
“They aren’t ready.”
“How do you know that?” the guy asked. “They could be.”
“Then they’ll tell me…you don’t make their decisions for them.” Jinxx said, not sure if he’s defending us or not.
“Temper, temper…is this how you greet all your old friends?” the guy asked.
“Only when they go dark, like you…you piece of shit.” Jinxx said harshly.
What does he mean by that: only when they go dark?
“You better leave us, before I make you.” Jinxx had continued to hold the guys shirt.
“Oh…that’s right…that’s one of your--” the guy cut himself off as he looked at the four of us. “Talents…isn’t it…pretending to make people do what you say.”

(Jinxx’s POV)
“Well, let me show you one of my new talents.” Reign told me.
“Don’t you dare! Not in front of them!” I roared I felt my eyes cloud over, I hear thunder roaring with me as I said this.
Reign laughed. “So you get to show off to your friends, but I can’t?” he asked. “How cruel.”
His eyes then whited over and I felt like I just broke my arm. I screamed in pain as I released him. I held my right arm.
“You bastard…what you do?” I heard Andy yell.
“All of you cover your eyes.” I yelled at them.
They looked at me in shock but did as instructed, as I tore my gaze from them to look at Reign. His eyes were whited out still and was looking at each of them.
“Keep them covered.” I instructed as Reigns eyes went from one member to the next.
After he blinked several times, he looked at me. “Did you like that?” he asked. “That was his power.”
His?...oh he means Tallies' power...his true love that he was supposed to meet nine years ago. But he had died before hand...that was when Reign turned dark, because of his death.
I glared at him as I felt my eyes whited out almost completely. I had to do something…but what? I can’t use wind against him….that’s one of the elements he could use…I know.
I looked at him and he got caught in my hypnosis. I planted an image of all the people he told me that knew what he was. I was thankful he told me over the years who they were and what they looked like. As I made them fear him and started calling him a witch and that he should be burned for ruining their lives… I felt myself go all out white eyes as I felt rain start to pour, getting everyone drenched within seconds, and thunder start to constantly roar. The last thing I heard as one of the guys calling my name.
Damn…I used too much of my power too soon…it was supposed to be a progression.
“I’m fine…” I said weakly before passing out.

(CC’s POV)
Somewhere between them talking, the guy running away in horror and the sudden rainstorm, Jinxx started to fall to his side.
“Jinxx!” I yelled as I ran to him.
“I’m fine…” I hear Jinxx whisper weakly, when the thunder stopped.
I got to him in time to see his eyes turn from pure white back to the blue eyes that I know. His eyes then closed fully, as the storm cleared to a blue sky in matter of second of his eyes closing.
“What the hell…?” I stared at Jinxx in horror.
Ashley and Andy came over to us as Jake stood in shock at the sudden weather change.
“What the hell was that?” Ashley asked, looking up into the now crystal blue sky.
“I have no idea.” Andy answered.
“Guys…something is wrong with him.” I said, drawing all three of their attention to me.
“What do you mean?” Jake asked as he came over.
“His eyes…when I caught him. His eyes changed color.”
Andy laughed. “What?”
“His eyes changed color…from pure white to his normal blue eyes.”

“CC, I think you caught a cold from the sudden rainstorm we had.” Ashley said. “Come on, let’s get back to the bus…before we’re all sick.”

I just wanted t take this time and tell you about Jinxx's Necklace which has a matching bracelet.
The necklace and bracelet of the Ferguson family. Only their true loves have matching. If both parties are found, the stone on the necklace will go from clear to pink. If both parties are married, it’ll go from pink to red. The stone will return to white when a child is born. Jinxx wears the necklace, but finds the bracelet a bit of a hassle...since it interferes with his performance. He doesn’t know what the meaning of the necklace is or how important it is…yet. Everyone in the family has one.
