I'm a Loaded Gun

I was so relieved to be at Sirens. Since freshman year, she has always had my back. Back then, we were both the outcasts of the class. We both always had the ripped jeans, converse, and the band shirts. She helped me learn crazy things to do to our hair, make up, and nail designs. Yeah we looked stupid half of the time, but we eventually figured it out together. She was there when I felt completely alone, at a time when I was seriously considering self harm, or ever worse, suicide. She was a reformed cutter herself. We survived freshman year together, and have been best friends since.

We didn't want to wake up her parents, so we opened the gate to the backyard and snuck in the sliding door into her room. She went to her dresser and searched around for a few moments. She tossed me a pair of black short shorts and a black and white BVB tank top. She pulled off her dress and put on a pair of lime green shorts and black BOTDF t shirt that she had cut into a tank top. As she turned to her laptop, I quickly slid out of my dress and stepped into the shorts and put on the tank top. I threw the dress on the floor next to the pink heels. I turned around to see her fingers flying on the keyboard. She already had the BVB store pulled up on the page and was entering the shipping information. She had already memorized her dad's credit card information.

She slyly swiveled around in the chair and put her hands together. "The deed has been done my darling. In two weeks we shall own Set the World on Fire!"

"Wonderful my kitten, simply wonderful."

We both burst out laughing and hugged each other. I cherished these crazy moments with Siren. I missed them when I was with Seth. Seth and I were always so serious all the time, and I knew Siren and I could just be weird together.

"Ohmygosh, Reya do you remember freshman year when we used to pretend we were rockstars?"

"You mean when we used to put on tons of makeup and ripped clothes and record ourselves singing covers of rock songs? And we always had the hottest, super famous boyfriends?"

"And how we turned my room into a stage or a backstage area?"

"That was hilarious."

"We should do that again!"

"What? Why?"

"Reya, we are going to be in college at this time next year. Come on, for fun! You have such a beautiful voice and I've been learning tons of songs on guitar! Come on!"

"My voice isn't that good. But fine, you've dragged me in."

"YAY!" she yelled as she jumped up from her chair. We both started throwing all of the clothes and debris on the floor into her closet. When we cleared the room Siren slid under her bed and pulled out a huge black box.

"Is that our rocker kit?" I asked.

"Yeah, it is."

Our "rocker kit" was a stage lock box that we had filled with make-up, war paint, glitter, hair pieces, and stage jewelry. We began rummaging through the box to get out our makeup and colored hair extensions. I pulled out the black and the red extensions that were long. I also got out the black eyeliner, ashy eyes kit, and black mascara. Siren was going through her closet to find the perfect "show clothes" for us. I began putting on the eyeliner and makeup. I drew the designs that I had on earlier in the night on the sides of my eyes, identical to how Andy Biersack usually put his.
