I'm a Loaded Gun

Seth and I entered the gym, which was covered in red decorations for our "Hollywood" themed dance. He quickly dragged me to a group of his "friends". The music was fast and the DJ had brought strobe lights. He instantly pushed me in front of him and latched onto my waist with his hands. He pressed himself into my back and started grinding on me. I was uncomfortable. I don't grind. My body doesnt move like this. I looked around to see some of his friends getting carried away with grinding. I looked over just in time to see his friend Travis's girlfriend turn around and she pressed her body into his and they began to make out next to us.

Seth pulled me around to face him. "Why won't you dance with me?"

"Seth its uncomfortable...it's awkward doing that in front of people. It's rude and gross."

"Everyone's doing it. No one cares. Now come on babe."

He put his hands on my back and pulled me into him, crushing his lips into mine. I tried to pull back but he was pushing me into him with such force that I couldn't retreat. I used to love kissing him. Seth was my first ever kiss. It wasn't special. We were both 15 and it was in his moms van while she was in the grocery store. My body had gone into a full panic when he placed his lips on mine. It was gentle and careful, the ways his lips lightly moved with mine. We used to be so in sync like that. I would kiss him all day if I could. Things changed when he started to get into a group with some of the popular guys. He became rougher with me. Not so gentle anymore.

I was trapped in Seth's chokehold kiss. I finally dropped my chin and felt his lips contact my forehead. He pulled back and looked at me confused. "I'm gonna go outside for a minute, it's really hot in here..." I said. I walked away from Seth and into the foyer. It was much cooler in there and they had small tables set up. I looked around for a moment and spotted Siren Campbell, one of my best friends. Her medium length blonde hair was curled and it beautifully fell in ringlets around her shoulders. I sat down next to here and sighed as I placed my head against her tan shoulder. "Siren, why does my life suck?"

"Because you didn't go get ice cream with me yesterday." she joked.

"I'm sorry, Seth and I went 4 wheeling."

"So what are you going to do? I heard that BVB is releasing the new CD tonight. I'm going home in twenty minutes so I can order mine the second it's available! The first fifty orders get a free t shirt too!" she said.

"My god I wish I could. Seth wants to go to Travis's house after because there's gonna be a huge after party."

"Rey, you hate parties. You don't drink."

"I know, Si."

"Why don't you crash with me tonight? We haven't had a girls night in months. I'll even order your CD and you can just pay me back next week when you get your allowance."

"OK."

Seth came walking around the corner, "Babe, you've been gone for awhile."

Siren glared at Seth. "We just got to talking."

I looked up at Seth who was standing over me. "Hey, I'm gonna go to Sirens tonight, I'm too tired to party."

"I already told Travis you were coming."

"It will be ok. I'll go to the next party."

"Whatever." he walked away and Siren decided she was ready to go. I followed her to her car and we rushed back to her house.
