More Than Friends?

-Nicole’s POV-
I wake up to the sound of bags being pulled down the stairs. He’s leaving. Thank god. I suddenly hear the front door open and I hear my dad yell, “Bye worthless bitch!” And leaves.

I’m not staying in this hell hole any longer. I grab every bag in my room and start stuffing them with my clothes, CD’s, shoes, and everything else that I could fit in my bags. Once I get all my shit together I go to the fridge to see if there was anything I could eat. Nope, only a rotten apple. Well damn. He took everything with him.

I’m out the door and I head to Andrew’s house. My phone’s there, and I know his parents wouldn’t let me live with them. I make it to his house. I’m scared. I don’t know why. I start shaking a little when I get up to the door. I knock.

-Andy’s POV-
I hear a knock on the front door and go get it. Who else would? No one else is home except for me. I open it to see Nicole.

“Nicole! Where have you been?!” I say pulling her into a tight hug.

“It’s a long story.” She says.

“Well oh my fucking god! Come in!” I say with no hesitation.

-Nicole’s POV-

“Sorry Andy but I was really only coming for my phone and my overnight back I left here.” I say feeling sad that I have to leave Andrew.

“What? No! Where will you go?” He says raising his voice.

“That I’m not too sure.” I say with worry in my voice.

“Well please come in for a little to get your stuff.” He says with a sad expression on his face.
I walk in and put my bags near the couch. I go upstairs and grab my shit. When I walk down I go to my bag and pull out Andrew’s flannel.

“Here!” I say shoving his flannel into his face. I giggle.

“Thanks.” He mumbles. “Where are you going, Nic?” He says while his beautiful blue eyes slowly turn into a lighter shade of blue.

“I don’t know. I have nowhere to stay.” I say tearing up.
-Andy’s POV-

“You coul…” She cuts me off.

“No, Andrew. Your parents hate me. I know you guys don’t need an extra person in your house anyway.” She says with a stern tone.

“Nicole, what happened?” I say worried as hell.

“Okay well… It’s long, so get comfortable and get some popcorn.” She says sarcastically.

“Nicole you’re kidding me. Again?” I say angrier than ever. She falls in my arms. She wasn’t even half way into the ‘story’ until she started balling her eyes out.

-Nicole’s POV-
Andy pulls me closer and kisses the top of my head. I hugged him so tight. I could stay like this forever.

“Nic, please stay with me.” He says tearing up. I couldn’t help but cry even more and say yes.

-Andy’s POV-
Soon after she agrees to stay I call my mom and tell her the situation. She understands but doesn’t like the idea of Nicole staying with us. But sense I’m just so fabulous and amazing she says yes.

“Hey, lemme help you with your stuff.” I say picking up one of Nicole’s suitcases. She follows me upstairs with the rest of her stuff and sits in one of my chairs.

“Thank you.” She says quietly. I guess she’s still really shaken up after what’s happened.

“Of course, Nic.” I say giving a smile. A few minutes go by and we just sit in silence. Out of nowhere she says, “How’s that band of yours doing?” She says with a smile.

“Oh, really good actually. Thanks.” I respond.

“That’s good.” She says digging her thumb into her palm. She looks so empty and broken. It breaks my heart. I get up and squat down next to her. I lift up her chin and lightly kiss her.

-Nicole’s POV-
Andy squats next to me and lightly presses his lips against mine. I kiss back. Our mouths separate and he asks me something I’ll never forget.

“Nicole, will you be mine?”
