Blood Thirsty

*Andy's POV*

Jake had to be rushed to the hospital, and given an emergency blood transfusion. If Jinxx hadn't of pulled me off of him when he did, I would have killed him. We had to cancel the rest of the tour due to a "family emergency". I hate myself so much. It's been about three weeks since we got back from the tour. I totally cut myself off from the world, turning off my phone, and drove into the mountains. It was so peaceful there, not having to worry about being a danger to others. My mind was completely at ease but my heart ached. I missed my friends. I wanted to see Ashes' smile again. I wanted to hold him close to me, and never let go. I knew that I would never be able to though. While I was in the mountains, I found ways to satisfy my thirst, and learned how to control it. I went on hunts at night, and stayed in my tent at night. After living in the wild for two weeks, I finally decided that I was ready to go home. I had left a note in my apartment explaining where I was, and that I would be back as soon as I was ready. As soon as I stepped through my door, I grew sad. There, on the couch, was a sleeping, tear stained Ashley Purdy. I closed the door as quietly as I could, so that I didn't wake him. It didn't work. He bolted up, bat in hand, ready to attack. He looked at me, dropped the bat, and tackled me. "Oh Andy! I'm so sorry! I'm so so sorry!" He wailed, hugging me so hard that I thought I was going to snap in half. I chuckled. "It's okay, Ashes. Everything is okay. I'm back now." I cooed, trying to calm him down as I took in his sent. Oh, how I missed his sent! We sat on the ground, hugging until Ash's cries turned into sniffles. I pulled back a little, putting my forehead on his and looking into his deep brown eyes. "Please don't leave me like that ever again." He whispered, trying to hold back the tears. I smiled softly, brushing away tears that ran down his cheek with my thumb. "I wont. I promise." I whispered back. I never wanted to leave him again. His eyes gleamed like polished wood. I could feel his head start to move, but I just pulled him into another hug. I wanted to kiss him, but I couldn't. I don't want to hurt him. I stood up, pulling him up with me. I told him about the mountains, and that I had found a way to help my thirst not grow out of control again. "I have to drink wolves blood." I told him. We just sat on the couch, talking like we used to, before I became a vampire. "Hey Andy?" Ash asked quietly. "What is it Ashes?" I said. "Why did you avoid me for so long?" Shit.
