Blood Thirsty

*Jake's POV*

It's been months now, since my transformation. I don't even remember what it is like to be human. Humans are a..... interesting creatures. They smell so delicious, but none smell more amazing than...... Him..... His chocolate brown eyes, his long black hair, even the small gap in his teeth is attractive. I don't know why I feel this way towards him. He calms the beast within my soul, which makes me curious. Why him? Is this how Andy feels towards Jinxx. He would never feel the same way towards me. I'm a vampire, he's a human. I don't want him to have to be like this, even if he wanted to be. I can see the fear in his eyes. Both him and Ashley are afraid of us. I want to go back. Back to before he was afraid of me. Before I craved blood. So I could have a slight chance with him. "Hey Jakey! Earth to Jakey Jake!" My thoughts were interrupted by CC's voice. I looked up to see him perched next to me on the couch. I almost fell off of the couch, but I caught myself swiftly. "What do you want, CC?" I sighed, looking away from him in fake anger. He sat down fully, looking at me with those big brown eyes. "You were staring off into space for an hour. It was freaking me out. What were you thinking about that could have you that deep in a trance!" He said softly, running his fingers through his perfect hair. His scent filled my nose, making me thirsty. I swiftly stood up, walking to the bunk room. I couldn't stand his scent. It made me feel like crying, knowing that he will never be mine. I was in such distress that I didn't notice Andy walking out of the bunk room, causing me to run into him in full force. He wasn't affected by me running into him, mainly due to his superior strength, so he caught me, and dragged me to the back room. He locked the door behind us, turning towards me with amusement in his eyes. "You haven't been yourself lately. Especially around..... CC." He said, mischief lacing his words like silk ribbons. I couldn't find words to defend myself, so I looked down, trying to hide my blush, but failing miserably. I heard Andy chuckle lowly, making my blush worsen. "Aw! Jakey has found his mate! So cute!" He teased. I sighed in response. "It doesn't matter...... He will never feel the same way. He wants to stay human. I'm not going to take his gift of humanity away from him...." I said, walking past him, out the door, and to my bunk. I got into a pair of pajama pants, then got into my bunk, falling into a restless sleep.
