Black Blood Wounds

Goodbye Agony

Have you ever just wanted to disappear? To not exist. Well, that's how I felt as I sat on my mattress in my shitty studio apartment in LA. I was only able to afford this piece of shit because I had been saving up money for months while I was living in my car. Even then, I had to use almost all of the money that I had saved up when I still had a family. When I was loved by my mother and father, and I had my sister Laura and my little brother Sam to annoy the living shit out of me. I would give anything to have them in my arms, but I can't. Why? Because I'm gay. I was disowned by my family because I finally told them that I like girls. I stared at the empty whiskey bottle that was on the floor in front of me, taunting me with it's emptiness. I could see the sky outside starting to turn pink, screaming at me that it was time for me to start getting ready for my job at Hot Topic. I only got the job because I worked at the Hot Topic in the Mall Of America, and the staff there hooked me up with this job. I slowly stood up, and wobbled to the bathroom to take a shower. The hot water cleared my mind a little, making my hangover less painful. When I was done getting ready, I quickly made myself some oatmeal, and a cup of Earl Grey tea, and rushed out to my blue and white Hudson that my grandpa gave me for my 18th birthday.

~time lapse~

After work, I felt so drained from the lack of sleep, that I was ready to just leave. The Hot Topic was crowded today because we were having a sale on all band merch in the store, so it was jam packed with kids. I wanted to scream, but I had to put on a smile. Any way, I was just about to leave, when a very tall, pale guy in a black hoodie and black sunglasses came up to me. "Hey, um, I was wondering if you guys still have any Motionless In White merch left." He asked quietly, as if he wasn't trying to draw too much attention to himself. I inwardly groaned. "Here, let me check! Follow me please." I said as happy as I could say without sounding fake. I lead the man to the back of the store, trying not to freak out because of my claustrophobia. We finally got to the back, and saw that all of the MIW shirts were gone. "Oh... I'm sorry... We seem to not have any." I said, looking back at the tall man. He looked not bothered by this, but I could tell that he was pretty disappointed by this. "Ok. I guess I'll just have to wait until next week." He said, turning to leave. I have no clue to this day what made me do this, but the next thing I knew, I grabbed his arm, keeping him from leaving. "Wait, sir. I'm pretty sure that we have some in the back! Just wait right here!" I said. He turned around, obviously surprised, but he smiled and nodded his head. I quickly turned around, and ran to the back of the store. I dug through the boxes like a wild animal until I found a large MIW shirt that wasn't even on store shelves yet. I smiled and ran back out to the tall man, who was very easy to find due to his height. "Here! I found one! We haven't even released it to the store shelves yet, but since you were so patient, I'm sure it would be fine just this once." I said in between gasps for air. I smiled as he beamed at me. We went to the check out counter, and I used my +1 card to give him a discount, since I hadn't used my daily discount. I bagged his shirt up, and gave it to him as I smiled. "Have a good day!" I said cheerfully as he gently took the bag from me. He smiled "You too! Thanks for helping me!" He started to walk out, but stopped when I walked out with him. He gave me a confused look. "I was actually on my way out when you asked me for help, so I was off of the clock." I explained. Even through his black glasses, I could see his eyes widen. "I'm so sorry! I didn't know! You didn't have to help me! I could've asked someone else..." I chuckled softly. "It's ok. I'm happy that I helped you find what you were looking for!" I said as we walked through the mall, into the parking lot. "Well, I'm happy that I met you! If you don't mind me asking, do you live around here?" He asked softly. "Um, yeah. Why do you ask?" I asked, giving him a questioning look. "Well, you just seem like a very nice person, which is hard to find in LA.... I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime?" Shit... This is awkward... "Ummmmm.... I would, but I'm actually gay...." I whispered, preparing for the homophobic comments to start. To my surprise, I heard a low chuckle. I looked up at him, confused. "That's not really what I meant by that. I actually have a boyfriend, who I love dearly. I actually just want to get to know you as a friend!" He said soothingly. Relieved by his words, I smiled and nodded my head. We exchange phones. "My name is Blaze by the way. Blaze Mortician." I said while I typed my info into his contacts. "That's a badass name! My name is Chis." He said as he finished typing in his info. We exchanged phones. "How about three days from now? Saturday, I'll pick you up and we can go get frozen yogurt with a good friend of mine." "Sounds good! Noon?" I asked, unlocking my car. "Noon sounds great! See you then!" He said turning around. I quickly looked at the new name in my contacts, and almost choked on air. I looked back up to see that he was gone. The name in my contacts, plainly read Chris Motionless.

Notes

I know, I know. You're probably wondering what this has to do with bvb, and why this story isn't on the MIW fanfiction page instead of the BVB fanfiction page. Lol! Even though it doesn't seem like it right now, bvb has a bigger role in this story than Chris does. I'm just making you wait for it, because I'm mean! *evil laugh* I hope you enjoyed this first chapter! :)
